   Leviathans are ancient aquatic entities that feed off of the chaos and misery of living creatures, existing in the seas surrounding continents and other bodies of water. Their origins are in the waters surrounding the Firmament inside The Great Deep (Tehom). However, due to events such as wars, disaster and conflict, many (if not all) have migrated to the earth's waters.

   Leviathan names are not pronounceable by humans, so to adapt, humans will often name them things they can pronounce.

   Leviathans do not have an exact social hierarchy, but it is closer to groupings of intelligent animals. They are able to communicate not only through voice and telepathy, but also echolocation or sounds made by their physical form such as rubbing together bone plates or scratching claws against surfaces.

   Leviathans delight and revel in both human suffering and their primal call to the void, feasting on the condensed energy of the anguished to give themselves both power and required nutrients for growth.

   Leviathans can fuse with humans and man-made objects, resulting in objects known as L-Types.

   Fusion is either created by deals with great amounts of verbal communication, or done forcibly depending on the power and strength of the Leviathan. It is not uncommon for desperate Leviathans to latch to objects such as guns, tanks, or other weapons to feed. Human fusion starts at points that rest within the body that connect to functions such as the brain or eyes, allowing the Leviathan ‘on board’ to communicate, see, and act. This part is almost always a connection to the spine.

   Leviathans do not have an exact moral compass or a deep sense of empathy/introspection, often putting their own personal and primal needs far over that of their host. Many are not above trickery, false promises, and/or fully overtaking their host once they feel the body is suitable.

   The defacto and highly secretive group that the German end of the Axis powers had melded down into. A Fascist regime that reigns over Europe and small portions of Russia. While the world is relatively at peace after the Allies surrender at Midway due to Leviathan-based intervention from the (now extremely powerful) Japanese navy. While known by their primary names, Deathshead is a name given to the group due to the fact that their leader is a descendant of Heinrich Himmler, and has strange, occult powers given to them by a Leviathan in the Rhine river with a moth/butterfly motif.

   There is an almost cult-like fascination with Leviathans by Nazi scientists, as the creatures seem to be a perfect storm of both the occult and scientific. Artificial Leviathans have been attempted, but with a 90% failure rate and the death of the artificial entity itself, including the host. These experiments have not stopped, however.

   Their most obvious occupation outside of central Europe is Russia's borders, usually there just to make sure the highly culled and industrialized region is functioning as it should under their totalitarian reign.

3. #3Nations of Edo’s Reach,N.R.C,Nihon’s Reach Countriesselective

   Nations of Edo’s Reach was established by the Japanese briefly after the abrupt and violent end of the second world war, and exists as a series of nations and islands under the rule of the Imperial Japanese government. The most notable are the remnants of the United States and Canada, existing as remodeled shells of themselves. Most notably, many areas and places have been renamed to better fit the ideals and culture of Japan.

   These places are most well known for their naval and airforce programs, but also their seemingly ‘utopian’ quality that many who have not been disillusioned attracts what is left of the surrounding nations for both (mostly factory and farm based) work in an almost mirror of their European counterparts.

4. #4Russia,USSRselective

   Keys: Russia, USSR

   A Similar shell of itself, much like many other previous allied countries. The population of Eastern Europe was largely culled, and those who remain work jobs that primarily exist to serve the Reich and other nations that exist within the good graces of the Axis Powers such as factory work, construction and accounting. They are even seen as ‘cheap and easy’ labor by some, and often end up as the butt of jokes made by members of the Reich.

   Russia now exists as a monitored puppet state.
