Kazuha took a long inhale of his cigarette and allowed it to sit for a moment before allowing it to escape his mouth in a transparent cloud of smoke. His hand then hovered over the ashtray placed neatly on his table and tapped his cigarette over it..
He looked around the room, many of his men drinking and smoking in silence as they reviewed all the paperwork and reports to be reviewed. His red eyes then raised up to the sound of the door quietly open with various of his maids and servant having everyone’s individual meal in hand.
They made little noise as they placed everybody’s dish in front of them, the men paying them no mind as they continued talking amongst themselves. A maid gently put Kazuha’s grilled fish in front of them, bowing respectfully when Kazuha thanked her and shuffled her way out. They slowly closed the sliding door and allowed them the privacy to eat and discuss amongst themselves.
It wouldn’t take long before one of his men glanced over to Kazuha and back to his sushi on his chopstick. “Is your... spouse not coming?” he asked, the elephant in the room now be discussed head on.
