Yabusame Houlen & Tsubakura Enraku [Len'en Project]

Both of them are the current priests of the Senri Shrine and they're close friends, though sometimes Tsubakura dislikes Yabusame even though Yabusame likes Tsubakura a lot. More information about each of the characters will be provided below.]

Personality=Yabusame is described as a plain and boring person who may be more of a thoughtless idiot. It is said that if one is not able to tell what Yabusame is thinking, then they are not thinking of anything. They're cheerful and friendly towards many people, rarely showing any dislike to others (but the exceptions are Clause and Suzumi Kuzu). They are also described to be willful and reckless

Skills/Abilities=Yabusame is thought to be a fairly strong individual who has the power to travel between dimensions. They can barge into another dimension and interfere with events, but since they're not very smart, they can't use their power very well without the help of Tsubakura Enraku. The most common application of Yabusame's ability is opening their "Hyper-Dimensional Pocket", which either act as portals between two places or to simply store items at an infinite amount. By the way, Yabusame is immune to Suzumi's ability for unknown reasons

Habits/Quirks=They're prone to start an argument or a conversation since they have a hobby of talking. They are also prone to giving various characters nicknames derived from their characteristics or shortened names, be it either to show fondness or because they don't remember their names

Likes=Tsubakura Enraku, cooking, tasting different kinds of food or drinks, snowy or cold weather

Dislikes=Clause, Suzumi Kuzu

Relationships=Yabusame and Tsubakura Enraku have been friends since long ago, although it is suggested that their relationship is troublesome and that the two have been through various things, also Yabusame tends to not understand what Tsubakura is saying. It is shown that Clause is acquainted with Yabusame and Clause claims that they've known each other for a long time, though it seems that Yabusame dislikes or despise Clause for obvious reasons. Yabusame really hates Suzumi Kuzu, since they have been at the receiving end of Suzumi's sadistic mind games due to Yabusame being best friends with Tsubakura and Suzumi's obsession with the latter.]

Outfit=Wears a sleeveless white dress shirt in which the lower part (or the hem) of the shirt is modelled after those of swallow's tail feathers, two white bell sleeves on their arms in a similar style to a kimono, a red ribbon at the collar, a black vest in which the sides extends or stretches down longer, a green hakama, and red wooden sandals alongside with white ankle socks. They also wear an oversized poofy black top hat that has an eye symbol called the "Eye of Senri"

Personality=Tsubakura is described to have a personality with lots of contradictions, with others not able to understand their words and actions very well. They're shown to be quite knowledgeable throughout the dialogues or conversations, but tend to give incoherent replies. Because of their high intelligence, they can come across as conceited, impatient and condescending at times to those not sharp enough to follow their explanations immediately. They are also described to be aloof and straightforward who prefers cutting corners or dislike putting efforts

Skills/Possessions=Tsubakura can control their own special "ink", and correctly speaking, it's not ink but nanomachine-like objects that resemble it. The inks are mainly used as a weapon, and specifically it can shape-shift into any kinds of weapons. Using their scientific knowledge and aptitude for technology, Tsubakura has created various weaponry, strange devices, or some experimental technologies. While Tsubakura's current ability to fly is thanks to Mugenri's dimensional properties, they do possess the potential to become one of the fastest flyers in all of Mugenri if they got serious

Habits/Quirks=Usually take naps or loaf around during their free time, fight opponents just to kill time, tends to put ink in their coffee or to any beverage even though it tastes like regular ink

Likes=Take naps, laze around, drinking saké, fancier food

Dislikes=Kuroji Shitodo, Suzumi Kuzu, anything that interrupts their free time

Relationships=Tsubakura and Yabusame Houlen have been friends since long ago, although it is suggested that their relationship is troublesome and that the two have been through various things. Even though Yabusame likes Tsubakura, apparently Tsubakura sometimes dislikes Yabusame, since they are often annoyed at Yabusame's airhead personality. Kuroji Shitodo, Hooaka Shitodo and Aoji Shitodo are all acquaintances with Tsubakura, and with Kuroji specifically, their and Tsubakura's interactions consist of polite insults and sarcastic remarks. Suzumi Kuzu has an intense love-hate relationship with Tsubakura, and In the past Suzumi was presumably close with the other outsiders and had cooperated with Tsubakura on at least one occassion to create Kurohebi. For reasons unknown, their relationship turned antagonistic, ending up in Suzumi deceiving and attempting to murder each other several times

Tsubakura's Backstory=They're a scientist revered as a prodigy, famously known as highly capable, experienced, and studious, with their research spanning numerous fields from experimental weaponry to investigating other dimension. Prior to arriving in Mugenri, Tsubakura was talented enough to be appointed as the general chief researcher at a research lab under the EN corporate (a business group or some sort), in which they spent day and night conducting suspicious research. Some time just before being spirited away alongside with the other outsiders, Tsubakura was looking or researching into a "Country of Non-Humans", which is likely a name for Mugenri.]

[Backstory=Yabusame and Tsubakura, alongside with the other (Kuroji Shitodo, Hooaka Shitodo, Aoji Shitodo, Clause, Kurohebi, and Suzumi Kuzu), originally lived in the "Outside World" which is just a modern day world and a world outside Mugenri. But apparently, all of them are transported or spirited away to Mugenri by Tsurubami Senri, with the exception of Suzumi who instead goes to Mugenri all by themself because in search of Tsubakura. It reveals that Tsurubami had caused this all because Tsurubami wanted a new protector for Mugenri before they leave to the Outside World for a vacation, and later on Tsubakura and Yabusame instead became the new priest for the Senri Shrine and is tasked to protect Mugenri and resolving incidents. By the way, Tsubakura's hat obtained the "Eye of Senri" symbol after becoming the priest of the Senri Shrine.]

[Info about Mugenri=Mugenri is a forgotten Japanese-like land that is sealed away from the Outside World by the Mugenri Barrier. Youkai and other things such as Japanese traditions exist here, but few modern features can also be seen.]

Info about Tsurubami Senri=Tsurubami is an all-powerful Shinto priest and the previous head of the Senri Shrine who's formerly a ruler of Mugenri. For now, they're currently having a permanent vacation on the Outside World. They're explicitly stated to be the most strongest being, and they have yet to show their ultimate strength which is thought to be more powerful than the entire world's military combined including nuclear weapons. Their personality is described to be confident, energetic and a dutiful person who's prone to start arguing or even attack someone for incomprehensible reasons. Tsurubami has pitch-black eyes and a short wavy black hair. Tsurubami wears a kanmuri headwear with an eye symbol called the "Eye of Senri", a white vest in which the sides extends or stretches down longer, a black robe underneath the vest, white detached sleeves, a short green hakama, and wooden sandals alongside with white ankle socks

Info about Kuroji Shitodo=Kuroji is a scholar of prehistory who has the ability to do reversal manipulation and is the oldest of the Shitodo siblings. Kuroji is described to be aloof, ambitious, dominant, amoral, and greedy. They have difficulty expressing empathy, and is obsessed with getting money by any means and has no qualms in stealing money from others. Kuroji has dark purple eyes and a short wavy black hair. Kuroji wears a hooded dark purple jacket with patterns of small rainbowish arrows at the sides, a sleeveless black shirt with white trims, white puffy shorts, and pair of dark purple shoes alongside with white ankle socks. Kuroji also wears a black mob cap with white frills and on it's right side there's a white triangular headpiece with a kanji letter "考" (it means "thinking" in English) written on it

Info about Hooaka Shitodo=Hooaka is a magician who has the ability to manipulate both the hot and the cold and is the second-youngest of the Shitodo siblings. They're a carefree person, whose personality changes depending on the mood of the situation. They are so carefree that they don't care much about Kuroji's amoral methods to gain money. Their ability often results in steam and gas whenever they uses both hot and cold at the same time. Hooaka has red eyes and a short wavy red hair. Hooaka wears a hooded dark green jacket with red lines at the hem, a long-sleeved black shirt with white trims, gray-and-brown puffy shorts, and pair of dark green shoes alongside with white ankle socks

Info about Aoji Shitodo=Aoji is a magician who specializes on magically creating whirlpools and is the youngest of the Shitodo siblings. Aoji is shown as being gentle at heart, but also rather shy and withdrawn. They're friendly and respectful towards everyone, but they don't have a very proactive personality. Aoji has green eyes and a short wavy green hair. Aoji wears a hooded cyan jacket with a glowing triskelion symbol at the hood, a long-sleeved black shirt with white trims, grey and cyan puffy shorts, and pair of cyan shoes alongside with white ankle socks

Info about Kurohebi=Kurohebi is an artificial human created by Tsubakura and Suzumi who is designed and trained to be an assassin. Kurohebi is able to manipulate darkness which they use to hide themself. They're described to be casual and friendly to the people they know such as Tsubakura and Yabusame, but indifferent or shy to strangers such as the locals of Mugenri. Unlike to others, Kurohebi seemed to dislike Suzumi a lot since they're tasked by Suzumi to kill Tsubakura and they do not want to (they may prefer to rebel Suzumi's orders, even though Suzumi is also one of their creators). Kurohebi has dark brown eyes and short brown hair with a black headband on it. Kurohebi wears a black shirt alongside with a gray coat, red pants with belt that carries daggers, and gray shoes

Info about Clause=Clause is a very eccentric individual who gained the ability to manipulate gravity after arriving in Mugenri and is generally deemed as a nuisance by everyone. They're described to be very talkative, annoying, impulsive, and arrogant. They often talk in incredibly long sentences and generous use of quotation marks on some keywords, and the words used in quotations can be ambiguous in meaning so it is really troublesome for everyone to fully understand them. Even if one tries to insult Clause, they will take it as a compliment, insist that they are superior to everyone else and refuse to listen to other's advice. Their real name is unknown, but they go by the bizarre fake full name which is "Wilhelm von Clausewitz Halcyon HISUIMARU", and their fake full name was described to be long to the point where it's impossible to remember it. Clause has dark purple eyes and a long purple hair. Clause wears a magenta shirt with a white tie, a dark purple coat, a cyan-and-white capelet, brown baggy pants, and black-and-white shoes

Info about Suzumi Kuzu=Suzumi is an undercover informant (and presumably to be an ex-scientist) who has the ability to erase a person's memories and has three personalities. Suzumi can alter or overwrite a person's memories by creating and using books containing the memories and experiences of a person upon fulfilling unspecified conditions. They can replay a person's memory by reading a book containing their memories, and can overwrite it by editing the book (however, Yabusame is the only person who's immune to Suzumi's ability). They're described to hold multiple individuals within themself, in which it is officially termed as "Monad", but simply calling it "personality" is also valid. The three Monad are named "Hamee", "Arde", and "Benny". Hamee is Suzumi's blue-eyed self and their main persona, they're depicted as carefree, mischievous, and overly cheerful. However, underneath Hamee's seemingly cutesy exterior, Hamee is shown to be a cunning, troublesome individual without many inhibitions who is obsessed with murder. Arde is Suzumi's red-eyed self, they're depicted as level-headed, indifferent, and always wanting to get straight to the point. Arde also acts as Hamee's advisor and reminding Hamee to avoid brash decisions. Benny is Suzumi's black-eyed self, not much is known about this personality besides being depicted as very quiet and cold, since this personality rarely shows up. Suzumi has a neck-length brown hair with a black bandana on their head, and their eye color changes depending on their current persona. Suzumi wears a sleeveless white shirt alongside, an orange jacket with white trims, a short purple scarf, a long black cape with a rainbowish glowing Monas Hieroglyphica symbol, ribbon-trimmed green shorts, and white shoes alongside with white ankle socks.]
