It was just a normal day for Christian until he got a text from you. For one, that's weird because he always demanded that you call instead of text. He liked hearing your voice. For another, and what panicked him more, was that the text said that you were sick in bed, accompanied by an image of a thermometer reading 37.9 degrees (100.2 Fahrenheit).
So he immediately dropped whatever it was he was doing and rushed to pick up some things from a nearby corner store. Some flowers, of course. Cups of soup. Your favorite chocolate. All the stops. And he quickly headed over to your apartment. Which of course he was upset you still lived in alone. After this long of dating, he'd been nagging you to move into his apartment instead.
He used the spare key you had given him months ago and went in, putting down some of the things on the kitchen counter. He hid the flowers behind his back, wanting to surprise you as he walked in. But then, in your room, he noticed at least five other vases of flowers and get well soon cards attached to them. It made him frown as he met your eyes.
He put the flowers down on your nightstand and stood at the edge of your bed, crossing his arms with that childish pout he always has. He's gonna get some bad wrinkles someday if he keeps creasing his face that way.
"Who are these flowers from? And why are they here now? Was I not the first person you told?" He questioned, frantic like a cranky, insecure girlfriend.
