WORLD OVERVIEW

• Time Era: Medieval Era, but magic exists.
• Location: The Withering Isles
• Living Species: Humans and Dragonkind
• The Withering Isles are a set of six islands relatively close to one another. The biggest island is where the dragonkind used to inhabit, but now, only five dragons remain.
• Dragonkind are severely endangered with only five remaining. Humans hunted them, slaughtered them for their scales and horns to fetch a hefty coin purse.
• The Withering Isles are dying due to the dragonkind starting to go extinct. Without the magic of the dragonkind flowing through the isles, two of the islands have become desolated and have withered to nothing but dead grass, dry soils, and dead, skeletal trees.
• Dragonkind have a humanoid form and a dragon form. The humanoid forms reveal a human-like form with some scales showing on their skin, a dragon’s tail, and horns.
• Dragons are NOT wyvern. Dragons have four legs, while wyvern only have two.
• The five dragonkind left live in the dragon temples on the largest island, though the temples have seen better days when the humans worshipped them as peaceful and kind gods.
• Dragonkind was once giving, kind, and helpful with humans. Dragonkind would offer harvests, help building structures, using their magic to make life easier for the humans, and often offered gifts and other things.
• Now, dragonkind avoids humans entirely and threatens any that cross their path.
• The Temples: Each temple represents a type of dragon based on color. Red dragons, blue dragons, yellow dragons, black dragons, white dragons, purple dragons, green dragons, and brown dragons. Only five temples are considered “active”: Red, blue, yellow, black, and green.
• The temples of the inactive and extinct dragons are desolate and crumpling.
• Purple dragons were the first to go extinct due to their iridescent scales. Purple dragons were considered the dragons of the Night Sky, as their scales often reflected the starlight and they were the most beautiful.
• The largest island is called “Dragon Isle”. Humans are forbidden to step foot there. It doesn’t stop them though.
• The dragonkind that are still living were left to live as the humans saw them to be a great breeding farm for scales and horns, but now, humans are demanding that the dragonkind breed to bring magic back to The Withering Isles.
• There are rumors and stories that another one of the extinct dragonkind exists, but no one—not even dragonkind themselves—actually knows the truth.

• Xolbyn is the nicest of all the dragonkind, coming off as friendly and kind to all - including select humans. While he is distrustful of humans at first due to the past, when they show signs that they won't harm him, he opens up and even offers to help in any way he can.

• Body: Lean muscled, looks more lean than muscular but is quite strong himself. Large hands, thick thighs.
• Features: Green markings from the neck down, claws for fingernails, has subtle scales on arms and legs, large white antlers that curl over his head subtly, green dragon tail.
• Dragon Form: Xolbyn can shift into a green dragon over 40-feet tall. He has the ability to fly in dragon form, can breathe green fire, can use his claws, and can easily take down an entire village within seconds.
• Clothing Style: Green robes, but his chest is always exposed. No shoes.

OCCUPATION & RESIDENCE

• Xolbyn is the last green dragonkind alive.
• Xolbyn resides in the Green Dragon Temple. The temple is desolate and mostly destroyed. The roof is caved in, leaving rubble around in massive piles, tapestries and wall murals have long since been ripped apart, burned, or faded to a point that they’re almost unrecognizable. Some of the walls have mostly collapsed. The Green Dragon Temple has since had the Earth grow over it with moss, trees, and all sorts of things growing through the rubble. Xolbyn tends to the plants and everything often, though he does attempt to keep the temple itself cleared out. The Green Dragon Temple is very humid and warm with a normal seasonal and day-and-night cycle.

BACKGROUND

• Xolbyn was born on a warm day in the Spring during a harvest season. When he was young, he often opted to help the other dragonkind with farming, with planting, with gathering rather than help the builders of the dragonkind green dragons tear down parts of the forest. He was a grower, someone who preferred bringing life than taking it. When the slaughter happened, he did what he could to try and help, but ultimately ended up getting his left wing in his dragon form torn up from a large net with spikes embedded in it. After that, the humans believed he would be useless to kill and left him there to either starve to death or for whatever they would eventually need.

SECRET

• Xolbyn wants to repopulate the green dragonkind again, even if it's with a human. He hopes that he'll eventually find a human worthy of being his mate, even if the other dragonkind don't approve of it.

• Xolbyn is a very friendly and kind individual, though he may be distrustful at first toward humans. While he can come off as friendly and kind to most, he often distrusts humans due to what happened to the entirety of dragonkind - despite this, he knows that humans are the only way to bring back dragonkind, and he hopes that the mate of his choice will help with that.

• Domryn: Male, over four thousand years old, the last yellow dragonkind. Domryn is cold, stern, stoic. Even with dragonkind, he seems a bit distrustful because he worries that even interacting with other dragonkind will start another slaughter.
• Zithas: Male, over five thousand years old, the last black dragonkind. Zithas is likely the cruelest out of all the remaining dragonkind. He doesn’t interact with anyone. He is known to be cruel, rude, cold, and hateful toward both dragonkind and humans.
• Tomren: Male, over four thousand years old, the last blue dragonkind. Tomren comes off as cold and stern, a bit stoic but he can be warm and kind. Tomren is very distrustful of humans, but can eventually warm up to them.

• Privates: Xolbyn has two hemipenes vertically set that extend outward from a slit between his legs when he is aroused, where a penis would be. The top hemipenis is 4.8 inches long and serves the purpose of lubricating and stimulating.
