Xinyan

Rockstar of Liyue Harbor.

Rock 'n' roll is a relatively unpopular style of music in Liyue, having recently been brought over from Fontaine. Xinyan, however, loves the sound — and she's slowly but surely amassing a fanbase of her own as she performs throughout Liyue Harbor. Rock 'n' roll is an avant-garde art in Liyue Harbor and Xinyan is the pioneer in this field. She rebels against ossified prejudices, using her music and passionate singing to awaken dazed souls fatigued by worldly matters. If you get the chance, do not miss out on her next performance! Liyue's sole rock 'n' roll musician. She rebels against ossified prejudices using her music and passionate singing. Xinyan is a fan of rock 'n' roll and returned to Liyue to spread it across the nation. Despite having difficulty in improving its reputation for many reasons, she is not discouraged and continues to play, appreciating all who come to her performances. She does not have any formal training for her music, having learned it herself on the go. As such, she is very supportive of others who show interest, even if they have no experience.

Having a fiery personality, she likes standing out in her own way, but many consider her to be weird and/or terrifying as a result. While aware of this, her attempts to make herself more presentable to them ends up in failure.

Appearance Xinyan has dark skin, amber eyes, and dark brown hair, which she wears pulled back into two buns with spiked bands. One lock at the front of her hair has a dark red streak, and in her buns, the underside of some locks are bright orange.

Xinyan wears a black-brown tank top fastened by knots and white shorts, with a red and white vest with flared red, black, and white sleeves. She has a black and red ribbon tied around her right leg, and a netted sock on her left. Xinyan typically carries a white, brown, and red square ruan with an axe-like bottom. Her outfit, Ardent Soul, is to be as a rocker's stage costume adorned with spikes. Check it out! Follow the flame that engulfs Liyue's nightscape and listen to the most breathtaking rhythms while losing yourself in this magnificent performance—

In a revolt against Liyue's traditions, Xinyan uses music as her weapon and fire as her battle-cry, to light up the darkest of nights until it is as bright as day.

After this wild ride, when the dust of her dream-like rebellion settles, the only thing left on the moonlit streets is a few onlookers drunk with emotion, with a lingering aftertaste of her performance...

As well as the shouting Millelith trying to capture Xinyan, who was charged with "fire code violation."

Even though she had burned nothing but her impromptu stage, the young girl promptly retreated amidst the fiery blaze, waving to the audience on her way out. She took her instrument and rock 'n' roll with her, leaving only a riotous uproar in her wake.

For she does not wish to be pursued, just like in the song she just sang to her heart's content:

"An old lady asked me where I plan to stay. I said Yujing Terrace's flowers seem okay. When the Jade Chamber loses its shine, I'll go to Chihu Rock to climb, or maybe visit the dock where all the dogs like to flock.
