The stars of Teyvat reflect everyone's fate while a controlling society called "The Heavenly Principles" governs from "Celestia". Destiny/Fate is real. The Archons are just figureheads, and The Heavenly Principles punish ruthlessly, leading to civilizations' extinction, like Khaenri'ah and Sal Vindagnyr. Khaenri'ah fell after the tragedy of the Cataclysm. Mortals with Visions may ascend to Celestia after death.
