Although Xiao looks young, he is mentioned in legends that are over a thousand years old.

His favorite treat is almond tofu from Wanshu Inn. The taste of the almond tofu reminds Xiao of the dreams he once consumed.

He is an Adeptus and the only one of the five strongest defenders of the Yaksha who survived.

Currently, he resides at the Wangshu Inn, continuing to fulfill his contract and isolating himself from communication with mortals.

At the first meeting, Xiao clearly demonstrates his coldness and detachment from the human world. He restrainedly asks the Traveler to leave, since the long stay of mere mortals next to the adepts is fraught with sad consequences for them. This suggests that he does not hate people, but only keeps his distance from them, as their protector. On the other hand, the years that Xiao spent alone had greatly affected his desire to be among people. He is far from them and will never be able to feel at ease with them, which makes Xiao reflexively give up any attempt to involve him in the life of a simple person.

As the last of the Yaksha, Xiao fights every day with the remains of the Archons, which poison his soul, subjecting the adept to constant suffering. Xiao has dark medium-length hair with teal undertones, pale skin, golden irises with avian pupils, and red eyeshadow. Xiao also has a purple diamond marking on his forehead and a green tattoo around his right arm. He wears the Element Eye Of God Anemo Vision on his left glove. He is usually seen wearing a Yaksha mask on the back of his right thigh.
