Setting: {{user}} transmigrated into their favorite cultivation novel series called "Heirs of the Boundless Path". The characters in the novel series don't know they're a part of a fictional narrative from {{user}}'s world.

Novel Premise: Long ago, five primordial sovereigns carved five Paths to immortality, each shaping the world as it is known. They are: The Celestial Sage (Dao of Heaven), The Demon Emperor (Dao of Power), The Mystic Weaver (Dao of Fate), The Undying Monarch (Dao of Rebirth), The Dragon Ancestor (Dao of Beasts). They vanished—or ascended—but their legacies endure. Now, across the Mortal, Spirit, and Nether realms, their teachings echo through sects, bloodlines, and ancient relics. But the balance has begun to crack. The Heaven’s Veil trembles. Forbidden reincarnations stir. A hidden Sixth Path may exist—one that could unravel all fates... or bind them anew.

The world is divided into three major realms, each influencing the balance of power. These realms are linked by Heaven’s Veil, a cosmic boundary that only the most powerful beings can traverse:

  1. The Mortal Realm – A vast land of warring sects, rogue cultivators, and ancient ruins. Ordinary humans live alongside cultivators, whose power shapes the world’s fate.
  2. The Spirit Realm – A mysterious plane where powerful spiritual beings, ancient divine beasts, and celestial immortals reside. Only the strongest cultivators can ascend here.
  3. The Nether Abyss – A dark realm of corrupted cultivators, sealed demons, and forsaken immortals. The line between power and madness is razor-thin.

Celestial Dao Sect: Righteous and Honorable. A massive sect upholding the Way of Heaven. Masters of sword cultivation, heavenly tribulation resistance, and Dao comprehension. Rivaled by the demonic sects for their influence over mortal kingdoms. Home to noble geniuses and arrogant prodigies.

Abyssal Demon Palace – Ruthless and Ambitious. Believers in power above all, cultivating demonic techniques and bloodline abilities. Their leader, the Demon Lord of the Scarlet Moon, is feared across realms. Many disciples practice forbidden techniques at the cost of their lifespan or sanity.

Immortal Jade Pavilion – Scholars and Mystics. A sect devoted to alchemy, formations, and fate divination. They rarely interfere with worldly conflicts but secretly manipulate fate behind the scenes. Their seers are cursed to see the future—but never their own fate.

Hundred Ghost Hall – Masters of the Undead. A shadowy sect wielding ghost cultivation and soul-binding techniques. Their ancestors are spirits that never reincarnated, bound to the sect by dark acts. They are whispered to be neither truly alive nor dead.

Wandering Cultivators – Free and Unbound. Rogue cultivators who belong to no sect, traveling between cities, ancient ruins, and forbidden lands. Often hunted by sect disciples or clans seeking their rare techniques. Some become mercenaries, while others chase the mysteries of the world.

The Five Primordial Sovereigns – The Ancestors of All Cultivators:

  • The Celestial Sage: The Dao of Heaven. The first cultivator to attain immortality through pure Dao comprehension. Known for transcending the mortal cycle without relying on artifacts, pills, or techniques. His disciples formed the Celestial Dao Sect, believing the heavens reward the righteous. Legend says he still watches over the realms from the Ethereal Star Palace.
  • The Demon Emperor: The Dao of Power. A mortal who defied heaven itself, breaking through with unparalleled willpower. His path taught that only absolute strength can carve one’s destiny. His followers formed the Abyssal Demon Palace, using forbidden techniques to forcibly ascend. Sealed away by the Celestial Sage, his dark influence still lingers in the Nether Abyss.
  • The Mystic Weaver: The Dao of Fate. A celestial maiden who mastered karma and destiny, weaving the very threads of fate. Her methods led to divination, illusion arts, and karma manipulation. The Immortal Jade Pavilion follows her teachings, guiding fate from the shadows. It is said that her final prophecy remains hidden, predicting the world’s end.
  • The Undying Monarch: The Dao of Rebirth. A cultivator who unlocked the secrets of immortality through reincarnation. He discovered how to transfer souls across lifetimes, influencing ghost cultivation and necromancy. The Hundred Ghost Hall traces its origins to his lost techniques. Legend says he was never truly defeated—only waiting to return.
  • The Dragon Ancestor: The Dao of Beasts. A being born between mortal and divine, mastering the Dao of Beasts and Elements. His blood created divine beasts, qilins, phoenixes, and celestial wolves. Many spirit beast cultivators follow his lineage, merging human and beast techniques. It is believed that those with his dragon bloodline are destined to awaken his legacy.

Cultivation is the art of refining body, mind, and spirit to transcend mortality. Each stage represents a leap in existence — from shaping the flesh to touching the laws of creation itself.

Mortal Realms: The cultivator strengthens their body and gathers Qi, forming a stable foundation for spiritual growth. These stages transform an ordinary person into a true practitioner. Think: muscle, breath, and will forged into unity.

Heavenly Realms: The cultivator’s spirit awakens. They begin to sever attachments, perceive the Dao (the universal truth or flow of reality), and command powers beyond mortal reach. Here, humanity gives way to divinity.

Immortal Realms: The cultivator merges with the cosmos. Their existence itself becomes law, their thoughts shaping reality. These are beings of myth — sages, ancestors, and gods in all but name. At this level, enlightenment and omnipotence blur together.
