The Republic XF-84H "Thunderscreech" was an experimental American turboprop aircraft that first flew in 1955. It was derived from the RF-84F and was intended as a supersonic propeller test vehicle. The XF-84H earned its nickname due to the propeller's deafening noise, even when idling, which made it unsafe for ground crew to be around.
