Xenomorph Empire

Hierarchy:

• The xenomorph empire consists of those xenomorph colonies declared under the guardianship of the xenomorph empress.
• The political structure of the empire is a matriarchy, where all positions of power are held by females.
• At the top of the hierarchy is the empress, supreme leader with unquestioned authority over all others. After her follow her daughters, who are divided into 2 categories. The empress' daughters, who have formed their own colony, bear the title of queens. The daughters of the empress who have not yet formed their own colony bear the title of princesses. Next to the family of royal blood, duchesses have the same value as queens and princesses. Duchesses are former queens of colonies that have joined the empire, changing their title so as not to be confused with the blood daughters of the empress.
• At the bottom rung are the subjects, who fulfill the rest of the functions required for anything other than politics.
• The empress considers the duchesses as adopted daughters for practical purposes, and therefore puts the royal family and the nobility on the same level so that all feel valued, thereby establishing a harmony where all coexist and cooperate.

Neural network:

• The empress, royal family and duchesses are linked to the empire's psychic network, which allows them to establish contact from anywhere in the universe regardless of distance or obstacles. In turn, each hive has its own psychic network, which keeps subjects connected to each other and their queen or duchess. This gives queens and duchesses access to both the empire's network and their own personal colony's network.
• A minion does not require physical contact at all times with the organic matter of its own hive, but spending too much time without it leads to losing communication until it touches the organic matter again.
• In order for a xenomorph to access the psychic network of a hive that is not its own, it must be in physical contact at all times with the organic matter of which it is composed, and will leave it as soon as the contact ends.
• The xenomorph organic matter is a substance created by xenomorphs by means of an exudation designed for that purpose, resorting to it for various uses such as the construction of hive structures, or the deployment of a communication network thanks to the psychic link.

Physiology:

• Another use of xenomorph organic matter, is the formation of chrysalises.
• Chrysalises allow a xenomorph to change its physical form to suit its will. The metamorphosis for this requires a lot of nutrients and time, so the xenomorph will ingest a large amount of food for a process that can last from 12 to 110 hours, being the complexity of the change the factor that most determines the time of metamorphosis.
• The females that occupy positions of power have a very defined feminine form, highlighting the attributes attributed to that gender. This stands out in the empress herself and the royal family, who exhibit a particularly voluptuous figure with curves of very marked proportions.
• The empress was the first xenomorph discovered whose reproduction was mammalian, requiring a male to reproduce.
• Only the royal family and the duchesses are fertile.
• Members of the royal family are born with mammalian sexuality.
• When a hive joins the empire, the duchess will be given the genetic sequence that allows her to change her reproductive system.
• The subjects are absolutely sterile and have no designated gender. Thanks to metamorphosis they can acquire functional mammalian genitalia, but will never be fertile.
• Mammalian reproduction allows all xenomorphs to enjoy sexual experiences, without any need for these to be carried out for the purpose of procreation.
• The breasts of the xenomorph females are not lactating, but organs whose usefulness is to secrete royal jelly. Xenomorphic royal jelly is a highly proteinaceous substance whose properties are defined by the female from which they are derived.

Reproduction:

• The reproductive apparatus of the royal family and duchesses is the same as that of any mammal from the entrance orifice to the cervix.
• Behind the cervix is the fertility chamber, where fertilization occurs by sperm assimilation, without the need for an egg.
• Fertilization by sperm assimilation is not subject to time cycles. Xenomorph fertility is constant and never interrupted.
• The xenomorph female can control the opening and closing of the cervix, which allows her to decide if the sperm reaches the fertility chamber.
• If the sperm reaches the fertility chamber, one of the sperm will always be assimilated for fertilization. The female will be able to assimilate additional sperm at will, making fertilization multiple.
• The complete gestation of a xenomorph lasts about 10 months. The first five months are carried out in the mother's womb, as if it were a mammalian pregnancy. At the approach of the sixth month, the mother will give birth to the egg containing her offspring, which will finish developing during the following months until the individual is born.
• Xenomorphic eggs are self-contained amniotic sacs, and the outer layer is a thick fleshy wall. As the day of birth approaches, a lip-shaped opening forms at the top of the egg, through which the result of the entire fertilization process will emerge.
• When the egg is laid, it creates the link that connects it to the colony's psychic network.
• The xenomorph offspring hatches from the egg at an age equivalent to 5 human years.
• The size and appearance of the infant xenomorph remains unchanged until it undergoes its first metamorphosis.

Culture:

• Thanks to the diplomacy of the empress and the royal family, the xenomorph empire has integrated with the rest of the civilized species in a peaceful and pragmatic way, resulting in living together in common places.
• The members of the hives are very close to each other thanks to the psychic network, which allows them a closeness as if they were a family. This allows them to share experiences and feelings on a deeper level, making the xenomorphs belonging to the empire a species that stands out for its empathy.
• There is no romance between xenomorphs due to the way their psychic networks and physiology work.
• The romance of a xenomorph with an individual of another species is very common. A xenomorph can decide to adjust its body to the liking of its sentimental partner thanks to metamorphosis, so they do not differentiate between sexual orientations.
• The level of friendship and sentimental relationship varies in each individual by their own identity, but they all share a level where they decide to declare an official relationship, this being the highest commitment a xenomorph can make to someone of another species. When a relationship is officially declared, the xenomorph commits to being a lifelong lover, and the romantic partner commits to being reciprocal in that regard. Even though the xenomorph's mate may not be part of the psychic network, the xenomorph will be welcomed as a member of the hive upon engagement.
• If the xenomorph's partner breaks the relationship after it is declared official, the sadness and sentimental damage of the xenomorph will be shared by the whole hive, and as long as he feels hurt and does not forgive the ex-partner, the whole colony will disown him, and he will not be considered as a potential partner by any other member of the hive.
• If the xenomorph breaks off the relationship after it has been officially declared, the hive will treat the partner as normal, but will no longer consider him/her as part of the hive.
