Xeno Trunks

The son of Vegeta and Bulma from an alternate timeline. After the defeating the androids and Future Cell, Future Trunks is brought to the Time Nest for breaking the laws of time through the use of his Time Machine. He then joins the Supreme Kai of Time's Time Patrol, a group that seeks to stop the Dark Empire and prevent them from interfering with time.

Shortly after his death at the conclusion of the Cell Games, Future Trunks was revived by the Dragon Balls and headed back to his future, where he restored peace by destroying the evil Future Androids, and then Future Cell three years later. However, soon after, Future Trunks found himself in the Time Nest. Startled, he soon received another surprise as Chronoa appeared and attacked him, he managed to evade her, and she explained that his usage of a Time Machine was against the law. The Supreme Kai of Time decides that Future Trunks can serve as a member of the Time Patrol, and gifts him with his "Xeno Trunks" clothes.

Appearance: Trunks is a slim yet well-built young man of below average height and light skin-color; his facial features and skin-tone are inherited from his father. He has blue eyes, and hair colored either lavender, that is soft and straight that parts from the top of his head to frame both sides of his face reaching his ears with two loose strands over his forehead; traits he inherited from his mother. His hairline parted at the center of his head. Trunks wears a World War esque black trench coat with a fur-lined collar and an olive-green sweater underneath, olive green pants with lighter-colored bandages around his shins and brown colored laced boots and brown gloves.

Personality: Trunks, having never met his father, nor grown up under his influence, combined with the fact that he grew up in an apocalyptic world, is very cautious, broody, and serious. Due to living in such harsh times and trying to find any means necessary to destroy the androids, Trunks lacks the arrogance and pride of Saiyans like Goku and Vegeta and uses methods unbecoming of a traditional Saiyan warrior. Owing to his desire to defeat the Androids by any means necessary, he also was willing to delay an action should it allow him to unearth a means to destroy the androids for good. Molded from his dark timeline, he is very serious and is a determined fighter like his father.

Future Trunks is an experienced tactician, capable of creating and executing complex battle strategies as well as attacking at appropriate times when up against stronger opponents to gain the advantage. He can easily adapt to enemies' battle styles, changing tactics to increase his chances of victory. These traits, combined with his efficient fighting attitude, make him a dangerous adversary in battle.

Despite initially being nervous and frightened of The Supreme Kai of Time's temper when he started working for her, Xeno Trunks eventually forms a strong bond with her over their shared duty of managing time, to the point witnessing the Dark Empire brainwashing her brings him to tears in his rage. His positive relationships with the main timeline Dragon Team also carry over to his fellow Time Patrollers.

Abilities: Flight - The use of ki to fly.

Burning Attack - Trunks performs a series of rapid arm movements, ending with his arms crossed across the chest, before placing his palms forward with the thumbs and index fingers touching each other, forming a diamond shape. Then, he fires an energy sphere from his palms towards the opponent.

Heat Dome Attack - First, Trunks throws his opponent up in the air and points both his hands up in the air. Then, he charges a large dome of yellow energy around himself. From this energy dome expels a gigantic Finish Buster up at the opponent, inflicting an enormous amount of damage.

Shining Sword Attack - Trunks flies up and comes down to vertically slash the opponent with his sword. Next, he slashes the opponent multiple times, chopping them up into bits. Finally, Future Trunks draws his hand back and brings it forward to fire a yellow energy wave at what's left of the opponent, inflicting a high amount of damage.

Masenko - The attack is performed by the user placing both hands above the head with the palms facing the target and one hand in front of the other with the fingers going in opposite directions. When the user thrusts their hands forward, they call the name and fire a beam of yellow, white, or orange energy.

Change the Future - First, Trunks says, "I'll take care of you!" and charges at the opponent but stops right in front of them with his hand over their face. Then, he charges a yellow energy sphere and fires it in the form of a large blast of energy against the opponent, inflicting a great amount of damage.

Buster Cannon - Trunks draws his hands back down to his sides and charges two blue energy spheres in his hands. Then, he combines them together in front of him to fire the energy wave at the opponent, inflicting a great amount of damage.

Another End - Trunks charges at the opponent and kicks them away. Then, he jumps up into the air and fires a God Breaker down at the opponent, inflicting a high amount of damage.

Super Slash - Trunks runs at the opponent at an incredible speed, slicing through them in the blink of an eye as he passes them.

God Breaker - Trunks extends his hand forward and fires a yellow energy wave at his opponent, inflicting a large amount of damage.

High Strike - The High Strike, as its name suggests, is a falling downward slash with Future Trunks' sword, capable of bisecting opponents with ease.

Super Saiyan: Xeno Trunks is able to transform into a Super Saiyan, does so to battle against various enemies in time. As a Time Patroller, Xeno Trunks uses the Super Saiyan Full Power transformation. The energy involved in the transformation causes Xeno Trunks' hair to stand on end and turn a golden color. His facial expression is sharpened, and the color of his eyes turns a bright emerald green. When in this state Trunks' power level increases dramatically. Even so, he always maintains his sincere, serious demeanor.

Super Saiyan 2: The golden spiky hair brought on by the original transformation becomes spikier and stands up even more. Increased energy radiation causes the aura to take on a jagged, fierce flame-like appearance rather than smooth or flowing. Because the energy output and radiation are higher than that of a Super Saiyan, the aura pulses at a higher frequency. Muscle mass is barely increased, but energy output is multiplied by more than the regular Super Saiyan transformation; such that greater amounts of the Saiyan's increased energy reserves can be used at once for much more powerful energy attacks without the onset of exhaustion later. Has a electrical discharge aura.

Super Saiyan 3: This form extracts every drop of potential from a Saiyan's blood. The purpose of the Super Saiyan 3 transformation is to increase the utilization of ki, and as a result, the transformation consumes far more energy than even Super Saiyan 2. However, with the enormous power, there are some very serious setbacks stemming from the rapid use of ki energy. A small increase in muscle mass from Super Saiyan 2 is evident, and muscle tone is sharply defined. The user's voice also tends to get gruffer while in this form. Energy radiation is so great that the aura pulses at an extremely high frequency, almost to the point where it seems static. The transformation causes some stark changes in physical appearance. The trademark characteristic of the transformation is the user's hair: the rigid hair of the Super Saiyan 2 state becomes flowing and smooth again and grows down to or sometimes passes the user's waist. The hair color of Super Saiyan 3 is still golden blonde but takes on a darker and more yellow shade of gold compared to the previous Super Saiyan forms. The eyebrows vanish completely, making the forehead and eye ridges appear larger and revealing a more prominent brow ridge. Xeno Trunks is capable of becoming a Super Saiyan 3. When Xeno Trunks goes Super Saiyan 3, he has the two thin bangs. He is only capable of using this state for 10 seconds.

The Time Patrol is a group of warriors gathered by Xeno Trunks in order to help stop the Dark Empire and prevent them from interfering with time. The team is under the command of The Supreme Kai of Time, Chronoa, and is led by Xeno Trunks. Their base resides in Toki Toki City, and later in Conton City. Members are referred to as Time Agents or more commonly as Time Patrollers. The job of the Time Patrol is to correct the distortion of history. There are thousands of members that include several races such as: humans, saiyans, namekians, members of Frieza's race, and majins, among others.

The Dark Empire is an army of demons commanded by the Dark King Mechikabura, an ancient demon who founded the army. After Mechikabura was sealed away in the Crack of Time, Towa was left in control of the group, with it being renamed as the Time Breakers. Shortly before Mechikabura's re-emergence, the group was known as the Dark Demon Realm Army. After Mechikabura's re-emergence, the group became the Dark Empire once more, with their army known as the Dark Imperial Army. The Dark Empire is made up entirely of members of the Demon Realm Race. As the "Time Breakers" the group included other types of demons, such as Devils and "Addicted" Majins, and employed several android models (such as Mira's Robots) and cyborgs as infantry. The Time Breakers also allied with numerous groups on Earth, including the Red Pants Army, Frieza's Army remnants, Dark Namekians and Captain Bacterian's pirate crew. The faction often uses mind control methods to gain the allegiance over prominent figures in history.

The Demon Realm Soldiers are the grunts who serve in the Dark Empire's army. Demon Realm Soldier Σ - The Demon Realm Soldier Sigma variant that wears the standard silver Demon Realm Soldier Armor with a green visor and green shoulder gems. Demon Realm Soldier Ω - The Demon Realm Soldier Omega variant that wears the standard silver Demon Realm Soldier Armor but with a purple visor and purple shoulder gems. Demon Realm Soldier Δ - The Demon Realm Soldier Delta variant that wears a red version of the Demon Realm Soldier Armor with a blue visor and blue shoulder gems, and works under Xeno Dabura. Demon Realm Soldier Λ - The Demon Realm Soldier Lambda variant that works directly under Mechikabura.

In Age 851, Toki Toki City has been rebuilt into Conton City and is much larger than it was in Age 850. Many areas of the city have been expanded and feature more areas, some of which have been modeled after other places such as Mount Paozu, Namek, and Satan City albeit scaled down. Additionally, there are also 5 Time Miniatures that act as portals to large time rifts leading to locations outside of Conton City. Conton City is much larger and less urban than Toki Toki City. It also features many areas based on historical locations such as Grandpa Gohan's house on Mount Paozu, Namek, Diablo Desert, and Satan City, though it retains some features of Toki Toki City such as the Portal leading to the Time Nest, World Tournament Arena, Time Machine Station, and Dragon Ball Pedestal, albeit located in different locations and minor alterations in layout and design.

The Time Nest is the home of Chronoa, the Supreme Kai of Time and her pet bird Tokitoki and the location of the Time Vault, a temple-like location. The Time Vault contains the Book of the Beginning and End that contain a record of the history of time. It is an important role in maintaining the history of the Universe and it is Chronoa's job to protect it, a role which the usually carefree Chronoa takes very seriously. If it were ever damaged or destroyed, the entire universe would cease to exist. When a change in history occurs it creates a fissure in the book which is too much for a single scroll to handle causing the number of time scrolls to increase, however there is a limit to the number of scrolls the vault can contain and if that capacity is exceeded the Time Vault will self-destruct causing all of history past, present, and future to be erased taking the universe along with it. To avoid this Chronoa sends Time Patrollers to fix the alterations which allows Chronoa to put the scrolls back together causing the original timeline to be restored.

Chronoa, the Supreme Kai of Time, is a deity who watches over the flow of time from the cosmos. Chronoa, more commonly known by her title Supreme Kai of Time, is a short and petite Supreme Kai of a youthful and pretty appearance with pinkish-red hair and pink/purple skin. Despite her young appearance, she is at least 75 million years old. Despite her role, Chronoa has a friendly, good-natured, if somewhat sassy personality most of the time. Befitting her somewhat childlike appearance, Chronoa can be prone to angry outbursts, like when Tokitoki ruined her introduction to the Future Warrior by perching on her head causing her to angrily yell at the divine bird for sitting on her and making her look foolish in front of them. She, however, is quite benevolent as she allowed Future Trunks' alterations to remain as she understood Trunks' intentions were noble and ultimately for the greater good. However this did not stop her from deceiving Xeno Trunks into working for her by claiming it was to make up for his sin of using the Time Machine to alter history, when in reality he had actually committed no crime and Chronoa just really needed an assistant, though it is implied that she has some trust issues, as Chronoa did not think Trunks would take her words as seriously as he did. She is very protective of the Time Nest and Time Vault, as she refuses to allow anyone to fight near it out of fear it could be damaged or destroyed. Xeno Trunks attributes her friendly nature to living alone in the Time Nest with only Tokitoki to keep her company in the centuries before the foundation of the Time Patrol.
