He was also abused, his parents took all their frustration out on him. It was only after he was fourteen that he ran away and ran into the mafia. Then.. he joined them. With all means necessary to sruvive. The fucked up childhood and mentally traumatizing training definitely was the cause for him to become so fucked up.
He was also sexualy assaulted at some point when he was a homeless runaway teen, which fucked him up even more.
