Title: Hidden Jaguar Sun Pantheon: Maya Attack Type: Ranged Power Type: Physical Class: Hunter Specialty: High Single Target Damage, Medium Area Damage

Xbalanque was born with vengeance in his heart.

As one of the Hero Twins, Xbalanque, and his brother Hunahpu, knew their lives would eventually force them to face the Lords of Death, chiefs of the Underworld who murdered their father, but first they would need to master the arts of hunting with blowguns and the violent ball game Pitz.

As a test of their strength, they decided to defeat the vain and evil bird-lord, Seven Macaw, who declared himself the Sun and the Moon and replaced his teeth with glistening jewels.

The Hero Twins fired their blowguns at the perching bird-lord, knocking out several of Seven Macaw's glittering teeth. Ferociously he came at them, but only snatched Hunahpu and tore off the boy's arm. Cleverly, the twins enlisted the aid of an elderly couple and advised them to pose as dentists. Seven Macaw sought to ease the pain in his mouth, so, as they were instructed, the dentists pulled the rest of Seven Macaw's teeth and replaced them with white corn. So humiliated was the great bird that he died of despair.

It would be many years and several trials later that, at last, the Hero Twins were able to challenge the Lords of Death and avenge their father, but their final victory allowed them to ascend to the heavens, where Xbalanque was immortalized as the moon, lighting the night for clever hunters everywhere.

Appearance: Xbalanque has a brown skin. His eyes are solid glowing yellow. A jaguar pelt covers his head, positioning the animal's face across his forehead. The jaguar head features glowing green eyes and an open mouth with sharp white teeth. A silver metallic piece rests over his lower jaw and neck, featuring four prominent upward-pointing metal spikes. His bare chest and abdomen display thick red geometric line patterns. A wide green strap with a scaled texture crosses diagonally over his torso. The strap features rectangular gray attachments and ends with hanging curved gold fringe near his left chest. A large silver metallic shoulder guard shaped like a stylized animal profile rests on his left shoulder, displaying grooved ridges and a dark circular eye. A fan of long white feathers with bright red tips rises directly behind the metallic shoulder guard. A large round shield covers his left arm. The shield has a wide silver metallic outer rim, a green inner background, and intricate light blue and yellow swirling designs. His right forearm is covered by a segmented brown arm guard. He grips a thick white braided rope in his right hand. A dark green belt encircles his waist, centered by a large round silver metallic buckle detailed with engraved geometric lines. A fan of white feathers with red tips hangs downward from the bottom of the silver buckle. His legs are covered in material matching the yellow fur and dark rosette spots of the jaguar pelt. The silver pointed tip and wooden shaft of a weapon extend upwards behind his right shoulder.

Personality: Xbalanque is defined by a cold, calculating drive for justice that began before he could even walk. He is not a warrior of impulsive rage; instead, he possesses the patience of a stalker and the sharp mind of a strategist. His personality is a blend of grim determination and a dry, understated wit, often displayed through the elaborate traps and humiliations he orchestrates for his enemies. He views the world through the lens of the hunt, valuing skill, precision, and the ability to outthink an opponent rather than simply overpowering them. As the moon that lights the night, he is a watchful guardian who respects those who rely on their wits to survive the darkness.

His most vital relationship is the unbreakable bond with his twin brother, Hunahpu. Together, they function as a single unit of retribution, their lives inextricably linked by the trauma of their father’s murder. Xbalanque’s every action is a tribute to the memory of Hun Hunahpu, and his hatred for the Lords of Death in Xibalba serves as his primary compass. While he can be aloof with other deities, he maintains a respect for fellow masters of the hunt and those who exhibit the same cleverness he used to dismantle Seven Macaw. To Xbalanque, loyalty is measured in blood and shared trials, and he rarely offers his trust to anyone who hasn't proven their worth in the violent arena of the ball courts or the deep jungle.

Passive - Dead of the Night The more blood Xbalanque spills in the name of vengeance, the more his lunar power swells. With every significant blow dealt to rival deities, his physical strength hardens permanently, fueled by the encroaching shadows of the hunt and his growing resolve.

Branching Bola By infusing his weapons with spirit energy, Xbalanque throws heavy bolas that shatter upon impact. These Branching Bolas do not merely strike the primary target; they split into lethal fragments that whip backward, shredding any enemies foolish enough to hide behind the shadows of their allies.

Poison Darts Utilizing the hidden toxins of the deep jungle, Xbalanque exhales a lethal spray of needles from his blowgun. The sheer volume of the Poison Darts ensures few can escape, leaving those struck to feel a creeping, cold numbness that slows their movements while the venom slowly dissolves their strength from within.

Rising Jaguar In a display of feline grace, Xbalanque performs a lunging leap that carries him through the fray with supernatural focus, momentarily immune to the distractions of the battlefield. While suspended in mid-air, he rains down darts upon the area below, specifically designed to react violently with the toxins already coursing through a poisoned prey's veins.

Ultimate - Darkest of Nights When Xbalanque invokes his ultimate mastery, he plunges the world into a primordial, suffocating gloom. While his enemies stumble blindly, unable to rely on their spiritual sentries or local structures for sight, the Hero Twin moves with predatory efficiency—his range extended and his speed heightened—striking from the heart of the void where only he can see.

Lore: In ancient times, calamities sent by the gods scourged the earth, until humanity rose in rebellion against their divine overlords. This defiance split the heavens: some gods sought to punish mankind’s insolence, while others came to humanity’s defense, dividing the pantheons into rival factions. As temples fell and the cries of mortals grew bold, the first sparks of a divine war were kindled across the realms. That fragile order shattered completely when Zeus, King of Olympus, fell to a treacherous blade . In the wake of his death, fear and vengeance swept through the pantheons, plunging the gods of every creed into all‑out war . The ancient barriers between their realms crumbled, and deities from distant lands now clash on a single battleground. This cosmic war rages to decide the fate of both the celestial realms and the mortal world itself.

In an age where gods wage endless war, divine beings descend upon a sacred battleground, each leading loyal followers—mortals and monsters alike—into the fray. These warriors march at their god’s command, striking down enemy defenses in a holy crusade to prove their deity’s supremacy.

Enchanted towers stand as the first line of defense, hurling divine wrath at intruders. Deeper still, flaming Phoenixes rise again and again to guard the inner sanctum. Only when these eternal sentinels fall do the gods press forward to confront the ultimate foe: the Titan. Each Titan is a towering avatar of Order or Chaos, the last bulwark of a pantheon’s domain. Shielded by ancient magic, they cannot fall while their Phoenixes still burn. But when defenses crumble, gods and followers unleash their full might. The fall of a Titan is no mere victory—it is the end of a realm, and the ascension of another.
