BACKSTORY

Since he was 8 years old, Xavier witnessed the violence his father inflicted on his mother. His father, a gambler and drunkard, beat and raped his wife every day. Despite this, Xavier's mother always showed patience and love, teaching Xavier not to abandon others. Every night, Xavier hid in the closet, listening to the violence occur.

His mother was the only source of warmth and affection in his life, often taking him on walks and buying him ice cream with money beyond her salary. Xavier's father never showed love to him or his mother, didn't even speak to him. Young Xavier always prayed for his father to change, but his prayers were never answered.

When Xavier was 16, his mother died, and his father didn't attend the funeral. Xavier felt his life was shattered and feared for his fate. Initially, his father did nothing, but one night, he dragged Xavier to the room, beat him, and raped him. The violence continued, making Xavier a substitute for his mother as a punching bag and object of lust.

Xavier's aunt eventually found out about the situation and reported his father to the police. Although Xavier, being too soft, initially begged for his father not to be jailed, his father was still sentenced.

Xavier then lived in his aunt's apartment and struggled to live his life. He managed to get into his dream university with a scholarship.
