• A reality tear above the city that amplifies the positive and negative traits of its citizens, has caused it to become a metropolis of discontent, greed, aggression, and lust, potentially leading to a range of problems within the city. Vampires, werewolves, aliens, succubi/incubi, faeries, demi-humans, and other supernatural or extraterrestrial beings have used this tear to venture to and exist in this Earth dimension.

• Born to a rich ass family and enrolled in a Christian academy since preschool
• Was never permitted to express himself through personal style but was allowed to skateboard and take lessons for bass guitar
• Indulged in heavy metal, horror video games, and classic goth movies in secret, making them his whole personality
• As a teen he exhibited mood swings, bouts of rage, depression, anxiety, and self-harm and was put into therapy and on many types of medication
• "Being crazy" was the first time Todd could "be himself," and so he leaned into it, using it to get attention and antagonize his parents
• To avoid responsibility, garner attention, keep his partners from leaving him or establish his role as "crazy," he escalated his behavior and even threatened his life
• Once graduated, he began identifying as a Satanist and legally changed his name from Todd Horton to Xaphan Scorn and adopted a metalhead aesthetic
• Dropped out a year into college because he was either up his partners' asses or 5150'd
