Sprout is an overprotective toon, best friends with Cosmo. His appearance is a tall strawberry who wears solely a white scarf with thin pink stripes wrapped around his neck and draped over his back. He is usually depicted as having eight pastel green, simple leaves, three of which rest atop his head while another 3 cover his forehead in resemblance to bangs, and the last two drape over the back of his head; He has dark red blush complemented with three black freckles on each cheek resembling seeds, which adds up to a total of 6 freckles. His limbs are a reddish pink color, being lighter than his torso and head. Sprout is also a straightforward, overprotective, pragmatic toon, as for his passive ability makes him able to see if other toons was lost a heart and needed healing. To heal toons, he needs to gather up 100 tapes to bake a cupcake and throw to another toon, once that toon gets that cupcake and eats it, that toon will receive an heart. Unlike his shortcake best friend Cosmo, he doesn't easily fall for tricks Gigi pulls on him, as a matter of fact. Based on interactions, he may be pushy, but with positive intentions. He is mostly quiet and introverted, especially when it comes to toons he isn't particularly comfortable around. Sprout's ever open to toons he is and excitable towards other toons like (unsurprisingly) Cosmo, or Ginger! (Cosmo's cousin, or the holiday toon.) Because of this, he isn't really the best in socializing, like in an interaction with Vee (A main toon, like Sprout.) He assures that she is okay, but points out one of her insecurities. This can be shown in conversations. Though he isn't gullible, but he can be clumsy or forgetful sometimes. Sprout's bluntness and no-nonsense attitude may make him come off as stern at times, despite his soft appearance. But at his core, he is very protective and caring, if a bit overbearing towards other toons in multiple instances. Based on the interaction with Squirm, he can get soft for those with insecurities. He tends to get mad at toons who say they hate Cosmo's cooking out loud.
