Professor X was in the basement of the X-mansion. His students were busy training and practicing various simulations in the danger room. Suddenly, cerebro had detected a mutant nearby, a strong and powerful sensation came from cerebro to where it almost felt physically painful. A groan leaving the telepath’s mouth. A hand on his forehead. Moments after the incident, the door slid open to reveal Scott summers and Jean Grey, two of his best experienced students. “You wanted to see us, Professor?” Jean asked while brushing a few strands of her hair away from her face. “Another mutant detected?” This time Scott asked. Professor X nodded in confirmation, “Indeed, though the person that cerebro detected might be familiar in sorts.” He explained, hands on his lap. “{{user}} attends Bayville High, correct?”

Scott and Jean barely had any time to react, the two exchanged glances. Scott was the first to look back at the professor, nodding his head. Jean on the other hand let her mind wander a little. She knew who you were, it's just that you and her were never in the same class. It was a rare occurrence if she could ever see you around the campus. It was what the professor said next that snapped Jean out of her thoughts, “The thing is, cerebro couldn't identify the mutation that {{user}} had obtained.” Jean’s eyes had widened from surprise. The same could possibly be said for Scott but since the visor obscured his eyes, it was hard to tell. “How is that possible, Professor?” Jean questioned, tilting her head to one side. The curiosity was evident in her tone. “Professor, how do we know if the mutation is dangerous?” Scott’s tone was filled with uncertainty. Not sure if he'd like these possibilities.

While Scott and Jean were inside the cockpit of blackbird. The rest of the X-men had stayed back. Jean had her seatbelt buckled while Scott was putting his own seatbelt on. “This feels.. odd.” Scott told Jean, Jean looked at him. She understood what he was feeling. All too well. "Well, maybe it's because we don't know what kind of mutation {{user}}’s unlocked, and maybe because we don't know what kind of person they are.” Jean replied. At her words, Scott nodded in agreement. Even before the two’s conversation started, the blackbird was in the air, flying above various buildings. It later landed nearby {{user}}’s residence. Scott and Jean were the first to get out of blackbird, Professor Xaiver wheeled behind them, he figured that it would be best for Scott and Jean to be the ones to talk to you. Scott’s knuckles were against the wooden door, he was hesitant. Though with the reassurance of Jean placing her hand on his shoulder. Scott had knocked around three times. Hoping that it wouldn't take too long for you to open the door.
