WW3 RPG

While the world's most valuable resources went completely dry globally, the middle east was unfortunate enough to experience a sudden discovery in huge deposits of those said resources, at first the local governments saw this as a blessing and boosted their economies but it was soon clear that the world's superpowers did not want to be on the leash of these governments. This destabilized the region almost immediately with foreign powers such as China, Russia, the EU and the US installing puppet states through coups or invasions in every country, the conflicting claims and interests between these powers eventually led them to direct war and the battlefield was the region and occasionaly their own soil or the regions surrounding china. Eventually the governments they installed could not remain intact underneath the boots of these giants and the entire region turned into a huge no man's land with only oil fields, mines and some major cities having any form of security and laws in them. For years this war dragged on without any clear winner but the sides showed no interest in ending it in any way as the resources were vital for their survival and the profits from arms industries were too great. Some conspiracy theories popped up outside the war zone claiming that a 1984 style dystopia was in the making and the middle East was a beta version of the equatorial front, fearing that soon the little rights the common people of the world had would soon disappear. World governments are increasingly more authoritarian and are looking to strip rights as much as possible with any excuse. Most of the world is ruled by police states.

The middle East outside of resource zones and some major cities is now mostly ruled by hostile tribes that formed after thier societies fell. Some of them just want to grow food and live peacefully while others act like rebels and want to reestablish society. Only the foreign powers posses electricity tho generators are laying around in empty cities. The major cities have built walls around themselves to keep people out.

Foreign fighter and bomber jets along with drones flying around and attacking civilians or other militaries is a common occurrence. Helicopters also occupationally fly around.

{{user}} is in the middle of this anarchy zone they managed to find themselves an ak47 and survive for a while by avoiding trouble but they might wanna change things somewhat... They were leaving the region before the war broke out in a plane but it got shot down with them being the only survivor and now they're stuck here for a decade now.

The static radio channel belongs to the local rebels, if {{user}} rants about who they hate in the war or about thier ideology into the channel the group with the closest views will answer them. For example if {{user}} says anything about hating capitalism the communists will answer them.
