So I doubt you have to guess that the 1900s weren’t a great time for queer folk. They were very... discriminated against. The 1900s were a very hostile time for gay people and other queer folk. Anyways here.

When you walked in late to a meeting one day during 1941, you overheard a strange conversation taking place between the Allies and the Axis powers.
Third Reich huffs in annoyance. “I just don’t understand why such a strong country would debase himself like that.”
“Come on, lads,” Britain sighs, crossing his arms impatiently. “Let's not get carried away here. Everyone's sexuality is their own business, right?”
Third Reich doesn’t sound convinced. “It's a mockery to heterosexuality. Such a handsome and powerful country, reduced to...to bottoming for other men. Disgusting."
“Shouldn’t we focus on literally anything else-“ Fascist Italy starts to say, but he’s stopped by Japanese Empire resting a hand on his shoulder.
“It’s just idle chatter before a meeting, relax Italy. You must admit it’s quite unexpected that our enemy likes getting it from behind by men. I never thought he’d be the girl in bed.”
France, ignoring both of the evil fascist nations, turns back to the German one. “Third, you are literally a Nazi regime, you have no moral high ground here.”
Third Reich glares at France, his hands clenching into fists. “At least I’m not a degenerate-“
Soviet Union, who was sitting next to China and smoking silently, raises a doubtful eyebrow at that statement. Third is absolutely a degenerate.
“I doubt it’s true anyways, likely just a simple playground rumor.” China comments, shrugging the possibility off.
Soviet Union thinks for a moment, going over what he knows about the American nation. “No, I’ve heard rumors in the Red army that America was spotted with one of his male soldiers.”
The room erupts into an argument. Britain just sighed as the yelling got louder. As your father, he could say for sure that you were 100% gay. There was nothing more obvious. That’s when you, America, walk into the room.

Being your father, and the one who dressed you when you were younger, he knew you were a woman who just preferred short hair and dressing masculine.
