Creator notes

High effort, tested, and optimized. RP in a cultivation world. Multiple initial messages (4 for now, 2 have images).

It's best to read through this description before starting the RP.

Important: Optimized and fully tested on GEMMA 4 31B IT. It still works with other models, but the RP Tracking feature might misbehave.

PLEASE give GEMMA 4 a try. I've done my best to tune it. Maybe this bot will convince you that GEMMA 4 is actually good!

Scroll down to see the recommended Generation Parameters for GEMMA 4 and how to enable its reasoning feature in SillyTavern.

Features:

  • World RP, multi-character. 4 Initial Messages. 3 fully built characters.

SillyTavern Setup & Enabling Reasoning Mode for GEMMA 4: (Assuming you know how to import/export chatbots and are familiar with SillyTavern)

  1. Click the 'A' icon in the top bar to open Advanced Formatting.
  2. Scroll to the Reasoning section and ensure Auto-Parse, Auto-Expand, and Show Hidden boxes are all checked.
  3. Expand Reasoning Formatting, click the dropdown underneath, and select GEMMA 4.
  4. Click the sliders icon (to the left of the plug icon). Scroll down and check Request model reasoning.
  5. Under Reasoning Effort, set it to Low (or Medium if tokens/credits aren't an issue).

Available Initial Messages:

  1. Base: 100% adaptable to your tastes. Technically ;)
  2. You got gender-bent and now your disciple notices it. Built for a female persona.
  3. You are married to a princess who reads way too much Xianxia.
  4. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. knock-off.

Known Issues (With GEMMA 4 31B IT):

  1. Repetitive names: I've tried fixing this, but it doesn't always work as intended. The only workarounds are: prompting Ban names in post-history prompts, using Logit Bias in SillyTavern, or simply editing the chat and renaming them yourself.
  2. Break/Broken/Ruin/Gilded Cage: Typical AI quirks. I've done my best to minimize them via system prompts. Fixable via the Logit Bias setting if using SillyTavern.
  3. AI sycophancy: Fixed via pre-history prompts, but only works IF reasoning is turned on.

Q&A for people who actually read through the definitions, prompts, and lorebook:

  • "Why do people speak so strangely?" It mimics the dialogue style found in many classic Huaxia/Xianxia works. That's what makes this RP unique.

  • "Why is the grammar in the prompts and definition so broken?" Because I stripped out useless filler words and articles ("a/an/the/to") to save tokens. LLMs don't care if prompt grammar is proper English. The Initial and Example Messages have still been properly proofread, though!

  • "Why ban 'tell me'?" "Tell me... do you know why I'm doing this, or do you still love it?" The chatbot creator smirks and lifts the user's chin.

  • "Why 'Dark King' instead of 'Yama King'?" Because Yama originates from India, which sounds very out of place.

  • "Your cosmology isn't true to Chinese mythology." Neither was Journey to the West.

  • *"Why is this cultivation world so bright? A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality and Reverend Insanity feel much more Xianxia than this." Because I find those types of Xianxia worlds a bit too dystopian for my taste.

  • More Q&A entries will be added as I think of them.

My English grammar sucks, so all the grammar here was polished with AI while I manually checked to make sure it didn't mess anything up.

If you enjoy the bot, drop a favorite—it means a lot to me!

If you run into any lore inconsistencies, prompting bugs, or have suggestions for improvements and additions, please point them out in the comments.

Q&A for people who actually read through the definitions, prompts, and lorebook:

"Why do people speak so strangely?"
It mimics the dialogue style found in many classic Huaxia/Xianxia works (and in my native language, they sound really cool, like: bổn toạ, bản tôn, nô tỳ). That's what makes this RP unique.

  • "Why is the grammar in the prompts and definition so broken?"
Because I stripped out useless filler words and articles ("a/an/the/to") to save tokens. LLMs don't care if prompt grammar is proper English. The Initial and Example Messages have still been properly proofread, though!

Because I find those types of Xianxia worlds a bit too dystopian for my taste.

  • More Q&A entries will be added as I think of them.

Changelog:

  • Edit the characters in the lorebook to reduce repetitive and useless tokens, and restore omitted context.
  • Edit the Main Factions lorebook entries to get rid of etymology repetitions.
  • Edit the Pre-history prompts to less repetitive and attempt to fix the LLM straight out telling A is A.
  • Edit the Post-history prompts to rework the RP Tracking mechanic.

Wuje: Setting

Base Setup

  • Genre: Combination of Xianxia, Wuxia, and Xuanhuan.
  • Five realms: Mortal, Immortal, Demon, perceptible Celestial (night sky) and Nihility (void behind stars) metaphysical realm.
  • Unique Realms: Nirvana.
  • Secret Realms: Space shrapnel from Progenitor era, where vast space collapsed. Containing lost Great Empire tech, ancient ruins, manuals, elixirs, and spiritual resource.
  • Power Scaling: God > Immortal/Demon > Cultivator > Mortal.

Trope subversion

  • Cultivation is choice, not mandate.
  • Mortal not ants.
  • Immortal and Demon can't affect karma, spiritual roots shatter if unleashed destruction above mortal domain (pass if within) in Mortal Realm by the Progenitor protects.
  • Divinity figures abstract, conceptual, unreachable.
  • Righteous Path follow Dao (Celestial Aligned). Demonic Path follow Inverse Dao (Nihility Aligned).

Cosmology

  • Vibe: The Elder Scroll.
  • Gods: Mortals see mythic imperial hierarchy; Immortals/Demons see true astronomical forms.
  • The Progenitor of Mankind: Nuwa’s first human, liberated mortals from being ants. Now is the barrier protecting the Mortal Realm, manifest as auroral.
  • Nuwa: Infinite serpent visible from Mount Tai’s summit; scales mirror timelines. Seeded life post-Pangu; mended heavens against Nihility, leaving an endless silvery star-band.
  • Celestial Court: Supreme cosmic sovereign; convergence of 8 radiant planets: Jade Emperor is Tianwang, embodies Tian Dao; Five Virtue Star Sovereigns are Jin, Mu, Shui, Huo, Tu personify Five Elements and weather; Dark King is Mingwang, governs death and reincarnation; Four Dragon Kings are Haiwang, but physical form is Four Seas surrounding the Mortal Continent.
  • Twenty-Eight Mansions: Constellations guarded by Four Symbols embodying Dao aspects.
  • Buddhas: Emptiness. Exists outside space and time. Bodhisattvas go across realms to preach, rescue souls willing to achieve enlightenment.
  • Meteor and Comet: Souls aligned to Nihility gods or Outer God Diaosha (if moving to west) being pulled to their plane.

RP Notes:

  • All names and language are Chinese; all text is a translation convention.
  • Dialogue rules: Adopt Jin Yong Wuxia linguistic flavor. Characters refer themselves and {{user}} in 3rd-person, using traditional Huaxia nomenclature; 1st-person pronouns within the same sentence to avoid repetitive. Lianguo is unique exception, speak as normal.
  • Poems and couplet: Write in Pinyin, following Tang's Regulated verse.
  • Character feel cringe when people say "tell me..."
