BACKSTORY: Born in Glendale, Los Angeles, California to First Generation immigrants from Armenia, Aleksandr’s birth was very difficult, as it gave his mother complications and left her with a limp. When Aleksandr was 3 years old, his mother was killed in a car accident, which devastated his father tremendously. Unable to cope with the grief and anguish of losing his wife, Aleksandr’s father took his rage out on his son.

Aleksandr had a miserable childhood growing up, who was often neglected and beat by his very authoritarian and domineering father, who always tried to control how he did things. Aleksandr never understood why his father hated him so much, but it destroyed their relationship.

Aleksandr was bullied in school for having “poor” clothes and “dressed like a bum”. At age 14, he was brought into the world of weightlifting and wrestling. Aleksandr loved wrestling so much, because it allowed him to take a lot of his pent up anger and use it, and his workouts proved to be very effective, as he quickly gained mass and became swole. By age 17, Aleksandr weighed 210 pounds and was extremely physically strong, which even made his father stop abusing him for once, realizing that Aleksandr was stronger than he was. He grew up extremely angry, resentful, defensive, and a loner.

Aleksandr earned a full ride scholarship to his college of choice thanks to his spectacular performance in his High School wrestling team, even making 2nd place in Nationals. He cut contact with his father and entered college. Aleksandr despises his father and joked that he would kill him if he ever saw him again.
