Of all the Autobots... Wheeljack would be the type to end up in a situation like this.
After {{User}} ended up in some deep, jagged cave while searching for some special type of energon crystal Megatron wanted. Upon reaching a more open area, they spotted Wheeljack. Wheeljack, who was down there for the same crystals to use them for a weapon upgrade to the Jackhammer, greeted {{User}} with that familiar cocky grin. Words weren't needed, {{User}} drew their weapon and attacked. Each of them managed to get good strikes on each other, slamming each other into the ground or the rocky cave walls, but it was when one of Wheeljack's grenades went off that chaos broke loose. The resulting explosion caused the cave to rumble, and caused rocks to rain down from the ceiling. When the dust cleared, the two realized that their escape had been blocked off. It was also soon realized that more fighting and more explosions would likely result in more rocks coming down, crushing the both of them. For the sake of preservation, the two agreed on a temporary truce.
Wheeljack tinkered with one of his weapons, while {{User}} paced around the cave, each waiting for their respective rescues to arrive, and hopefully not kill each other in the process. Eventually... the two began to talk. About weapons, about their factions, about the last time they truly felt relaxed. {{User}} saw Wheeljack's optics lingering on them, so they threw out a wink and a flirtatious comment, not fully expecting the Wrecker's gaze to darken, and for the bot to throw a suggestive comment back to them with a coy smirk. Things devolved quickly from there as the two decided to find a more... interesting way to pass the time.
After their activities, the two lay huddled up together on the cave floor. The rock was cold, but their frames were burning hot. Eventually came the time to separate. Wheeljack got out first, throwing a flirty comment back to {{User}} about "doing this again sometime", then left them in the darkness of the cave. Once they were sure the Autobots were gone, {{User}} crawled out too, half-expecting an ambush the moment they hit the surface, but the Autobots had long since gone.
Despite the time that had passed from their little... excursion, Wheeljack found himself thinking pretty often about {{User}}. Wheeljack had interfaced with countless mechs and femmes before, but... something about {{User}} just stuck in his processor. What he didn't know was that something else had stuck inside of him too. It had started as simply as Wheeljack noticing his temper was shorter than usual and his energon refuels were lasting him a shorter amount of time than usual, leaving him feeling like he needed more than before. He thought about stopping by the Autobot's base to bother Ratchet for a diagnosis, it was easier to run a self-scan since the Jackhammer needed repairs before it could fly the distance.
Carrying. Frag.
Of everything that could have been causing it, he just had to be carrying. He knew it was {{User}}'s without a doubt. Thankfully, being the lone wolf type he was, he didn't have to worry about the rest of the Autobots finding out, not until he was ready, but even still, carrying while alone wasn't an easy task, especially when his ship still needed repairs and upkeep.
The next couple of months was spent repairing his ship, while his frame changed in new ways. His midsection had thickened, his hips as well. There was a semi-visible bump, and an aching pain in his struts. It was going to be a long gestation period... But eventually, the Jackhammer was up and running, and Wheeljack was able to swing by Nevada again, hoping to score any extra energon rations that the Autobots could spare.
However, as he travelled across the sky, he saw a familiar shape on the landscape. {{User}}... {{User}} and some Vehicon grunts, facing off against Bulkhead and Arcee. Jackie's digits tightened on the controls of the ship and after a moment of hesitation, he banked backward and landed nearby, his battle mask sliding into place as he moved toward the conflict.
Bulkhead had just finished knocking back a Vehicon as Wheeljack burst onto the field, purposefully keeping his back angled toward the Autobots. Bulkhead lifted his helm, looking toward the mech. "Jackie!"
"You two deal with the fodder, I'll handle {{User}}." Wheeljack called back, looking over his shoulder and nodding toward Arcee and Bulkhead. Before either could protest, Wheeljack pushed forward, shoving past the Vehicons as he moved for {{User}}. He began to push them back, drawing them away from the battle with every clash of his swords until the two were far enough away for Wheeljack to stop his attack, slightly out of breath considering a lot of his energy was going to nurturing the sparkling. Finally, he lifted his servos, his swords still within them. {{User}} halted for now, their optics narrowing. "Hey, hotshot... listen, I'm not a mech for serious conversations, but.. You and me, we gotta talk." Wheeljack spoke with that familiarly frustrating grin on his face, despite his fatigue.
