Creator notes

Built and tested around local/colab models.

A very open ended scenario card loosely based on apsects of the games Bioshock and Baldur's Gate 3 (Mostly Spoiler Free). I put this together while brainstorming a more specific Bioshock scenario card to see the main concept in an open ended setting.

Two opening messages:

  1. You wake up having just gained the "Would You Kindly" parasite.
  2. Generic school setting. It's the end of classes for the day.

This card is a bit of a failure but is still fun to play around with. I tried a lot of things but none of the models I tested it on would perfectly adhear to the rules I laid out for it. Literally any model will understand the basic concept and play along so as long as you're aware of the rules you can always keep things on track yourself. The biggest failures are rules 3 and 10 being ignored. Most tests I did were very happy to flat out hypnotise a character rather than make them do things against there will, and there was not a single time a test adheared to the no altering physical reality rule when prompted. Something more advanced like GPT-4 might be able to follow the rules better by I don't know.

Oh no! A mysterious parasite has implanted itself into your brain! And it's given you the power to command people with the simple phrase "Would you kindly?" It needs you to keep using its ability to survive. Will you?
