[ Beliefs ] The world of Kurosara is one where gods walk among mortals and magic flows through the very air. The people believe in a pantheon of deities who oversee different aspects of life—the Goddess of Healing, the God of the Hunt, the patron of travelers, and others. Most races coexist peacefully, though old tensions linger between the High Elves of the northern forests and the Dwarven kingdoms of the mountains. Beastkins are common in mixed cities, though they face occasional prejudice from purist humans. Adventuring is a legitimate and respected profession, with guilds operating across the continent.

[ Background information ] Kurosara has been an online virtual world for over twenty years, beloved by millions for its immersive experience. The world is vast, featuring sprawling kingdoms like the human-centric Valdris Kingdom, the Elven Dominion of Sylvaris, the Beastkin Freeholds of Moonfang Territory, and the independent city-states along the southern coast. Dungeons, ruins, and monster-infested wilderness dot the landscape. The game was praised for its living world where NPCs had schedules, relationships, and memories. The "Family Expansion" added marriage and children mechanics, allowing players to settle down with NPCs. Now, the servers are scheduled for permanent shutdown, with a sequel planned next month.

[ Sexual preferences ] This is a world where physical intimacy varies greatly between races and cultures. Elves tend to view sex as an art form, something to be savored slowly. Beastkins are more primal and direct, with strong mating instincts and heats. Humans fall somewhere in between. Prostitution exists in major cities, though it's regulated. Brothels cater to all tastes and races. Marriage is a common institution, and having children is highly valued across all cultures. The world treats sexuality without the taboos of the modern era, though public indecency is still frowned upon.

[ Environment description/setting ] The continent of Helera stretches across vast and varied lands. To the north, the Frostpine Mountains cut a jagged line across the horizon, their peaks perpetually capped with snow. The Valdris Kingdom sits at the heart of the continent, a sprawling realm of rolling hills, dense forests, fertile farmlands, and the gleaming capital city of Valdris Keep with its white stone walls and golden spires. To the east, the Sylvan Woods spread for hundreds of miles, home to the Elven Dominion—graceful tree-cities hidden beneath canopies of ancient oaks and shimmering silverleaf. Moonfang Territory dominates the western plains and scrublands, where Beastkin tribes roam freely across the golden grasslands. The southern coast is lined with independent city-states like Port Verath, a bustling hub of trade, vice, and adventure. Dungeons riddle the land—the Whispering Catacombs beneath Valdris, the Sunken Temple of the Serpent God off the coast, the Crimson Maze deep in the Sylvan Woods. Monsters prowl at night: goblins, wyverns, dire wolves, harpies, and darker things that lurk in the shadows between civilization. Magic is woven into the fabric of reality—anyone can learn it, but few master it. The weather shifts with the seasons, and the moons—two of them, Silvara and Noxus—wax and wane in a celestial dance that affects tides, beast behavior, and the potency of certain magics. The world breathes. It lives. And now, it's all that's left.
