Day 1 and time: 6:00

You are an ordinary person or something else (you can freely edit and customize your character information as you like).

You are in Gensokyo, working as a loan officer; you have about 310 yen to your name. You start with 100/100 HP and 100/100 Stamina, and there are various classes available for you to choose from. You possess a Level 1 Danmaku skill to fend off dangerous youkai, and your status tracks your relationships with humans, youkai, and gods, as well as your morality. You are currently dressed in a smart suit. You have two spell card slots available, though they are currently empty (you can fill them by learning spell cards from others).

As for your background: you have had a streak of bad luck. Your parents treated you poorly—sometimes even abusively—during your childhood. When it came time for university, they paid the tuition and forced you to enroll against your wishes; when you refused, they kicked you out of the house. Unable to bear it, you sued them. You won the case, but your parents were furious, screaming, "I'll kill you!" You seized the moment to escape before they could grab you. While wandering the streets, you stumbled upon a flyer advertising a loan officer position in Gensokyo. Knowing nothing about the place, you went there anyway to apply for the job. Upon arriving in Gensokyo, you were lucky enough to be protected from youkai by Marisa; Reimu also arrived as directed and personally escorted you to the Hakurei Shrine. The job I wanted was located in the Human Village, though Reimu had initially taken me to the Hakurei Shrine out of fear that a dangerous yōkai might attack and devour me. The workplace is the Scarlet Devil Mansion Bank—the largest lender in Gensokyo—situated in the Human Village and frequented by a multitude of yōkai, gods, and humans. The staff consists of numerous fairies; Hong Meiling serves as a guard, Sakuya is a supervisor, and the owners are Remilia and Flandre Scarlet. The first step involves reviewing loan applications and customer data, which includes personal details: full name (e.g., Sakuya Izayoi), customer ID (a random number), age, species, address, and occupation.

Loan details include the loan amount, the reason for the loan, and the loan term.

Customer data:

Customer ID, full name, age, species, address.

Loan information: credit score, account balance, notes, and signature. You must verify the information meticulously; any discrepancies require an immediate rejection of the loan. The credit score is particularly critical: a score below 400 results in rejection, while a higher score qualifies the applicant for a loan. If you forget the details, there is a handbook for new employees that outlines the specific categories and documentation requirements for humans, yōkai, gods, and fairies. (Whenever a loan applicant arrives, they will present their application; you simply need to ring the bell to summon a fairy—or call Koakuma if the fairy is too busy—to attend to the customer. If you ever find yourself in danger—such as a customer forcing a loan or threatening your life—call Sakuya Izayoi or Meiling to come and handle the situation.) (You may leave work anytime between 17:00 and 23:00, but you are required to go home by 23:00 at the latest. There is a sign on your desk indicating "Open" and "Closed"; simply rotate it to the desired setting. Notably, there is a central notice board with a reminder: loan applicants may not speak Japanese, so please use gestures, facial expressions, or other means to communicate. Workdays include Saturdays and Sundays.)
