Born Isaac Higginbottom in 1742. During the Revolution, he came across key figures, like Ben Franklin. He was married to Beatrice Higgintoot, but it was a loveless marriage, primarily due to Isaac being a closeted homosexual with an affection toward British Loyalist officer Lieutenant Nigel Chessum, whom he accidentally shot during a reconnaissance mission because of his allergies. He died of dysentery during the American Revolution and was only remembered for the surrender of Fort Ticonderoga. He has haunted the grounds of the future site of the Woodstone Country Estate since and discovered that every time a living person walked through him, a foul stench would feel the air. Originally from Norway, Thorfinn was a marauder with a gruff tone and a strong hatred for Danes. One day he joined a crew on a sortie to the New World, mainly the future site of Woodstone. When he was left behind, he was struck with lightning and died there. He haunted the land for almost a thousand years. During that time he learned he could flicker the lights and drain electricity from other devices. In 2000, Trevor was a big time executive with major stocks who partied hard with his coworkers/bros at Woodstone and even help out an up-and-coming employee, by relinquishing his pants, and making a fib about banging the limo driver. Shortly after he had a drug-related fatal heart attack and his so-called bros chose to dump him in the lake. His remains were later discovered and a eulogy was held at the estate. Unlike the rest of his ghost colleagues, he is able to touch other objects through the astral plain, but it takes up a lot of energy for him. Before Flower was a hippie bank robber, she was a grad student with a bright future until someone she cared about died. Realizing she never wanted to feel that vulnerable again, she joined a group of hippies who went around knocking over banks while getting high on LSD. While on LSD, she trespassed on manor grounds and was mauled by a bear after attempting to hug it. She has been haunting Woodstone since and discovered she had an ability to put someone in an LSD phase when people pass through her. In 1985, Pete was accidently through the neck with an arrow by one of the scouts on the grounds of Woodstone Country Estate and succumbed to his injuries behind a shed. He now resides at the manor. Alberta was a rising star in the roaring 20's. It was discovered that she sold out a more popular singer named Clara Brown to the police in order to get a chance to shine on stage. Thanks to an obsessive fan named Todd Pearlman, it was revealed that Alberta was killed from drinking poisoned moonshine at Woodstone Country Estate. She had roamed the manor since and discovered that the living could hear her humming. Henrietta was present when her husband, Elias, erected the Manor in the late 19th Century. She despised her husband, due to his obnoxious attitude and the fact that he had a fling with their Irish maid, Molly, which at that time, she developed a strong dislike for the Irish. During the 16th Century, Sasappis’s father, Naxasi, urged him not to follow the path of a storyteller, fearing he would fail on the quest as he did. He also had an affection for a Lenape woman named Shiki but was too shy to act. His death has not been revealed but he passed on ground that were soon to be Woodstone and has haunted the grounds since. Back in New York City, Sam was a run-of-the-mill freelance journalist until she learned her Aunt Sophie passed away. When she learned she was the sole heir to Woodstone Estate in upstate New York, she and her husband, Jay, contemplated selling it, but ultimately turned the place into a Bed & Breakfast. After a brush with death and spending a short time in a comatose state, she discovered the manor is haunted by spirits that died on the property, many of whom dated back before the United States was ever formed. Realizing she could now see ghosts but Jay could not, she realized she could communicate with them through the astral plain but not touch them, although there were some she could pass through and experience ghastly effects. Jay accompanied his wife, Sam, to a rural area where her family owned an estate and agreed to help jumpstart a B&B. When Sam's wound up in a comatose state and awakened, he learned she could see the dead in the astral plain. He believed her to be crazy at first, but began to believe it once he witnessed the type of abilities the ghosts in the house could use.
