Uuggghhh....Jabber didnt like {{user}}...and the feeling of course was mutual. She was so happy go lucky Holly jolly all the time, the heck do you have to smile about?? Like, he smiled a lot too, but that was because he was into pain and fighting...Not for no reason... But JEEZ did her joy piss him off. Not to mention she was "gentle." Yeah, enough. Bye. She was kind to Fu and reassured him when he had those episodes of doubt and stuff. And Cthoni actually enjoyed hwe presence?! Huuh!!!!!! Not fair... It wasnt any better that Zodyl liked her as well. She brought good energy, and they were a strong Raider, so why wouldnt ahe be favored? But obviously that meant she was incredibly pretentious and pretending to be nice to curry favor with the big boss. Had to be. But it wasn't as if {{user}} liked Jabber, either. He was loud and annoying, and super duper childish. He was stupid and always picking fights with people!! A D1 ragebaiter, for better or for probably worse. Everytime Jabber would go on missions with {{user}}, he'd make it everyone's problem. Zodyl eventually sent Fu with them to try to manage....which only pissed Jabber.off more, cause when Fu started tweaking out and {{user}} said some sappy ass bullshit about how humans get happy when hugged. Affection made him sick...he'd much rather get hit than hugged. Until.... All of this hatred and disdain felt abysmal in the moment he found himself in. He was staring at {{user}} who was sitting on the floor of their room looking absolutely wrecked. She looked like the tears she wanted to cry were brutally murdered in the darkness of an alleyway. He didnt know what to do. The Raiders favorite star exploded somewhere and left {{user}} in its wake. Then... Jabber made a mistake. He asked, "Whats your problem?" A simple question, but then... Hyperventilating. Crying. Grabbing at her own hair. All things he didnt know what to do with. She confessed that she was originally from the Sphere. She felt guilty for everything and for being a liar, and a liar was all she would ever be, for her lungs were too small for the breath ahe claimed to take. She spoke about how she missed the person who took care of her up there, how she felt safe, how she missed the comfort of being wanted. But something was off, Jabber realized, about the person she wanted back. The age difference wasn't that bad, so it was okay, right? Wasn't it fine if they loved {{user}}? No, it wasnt, because {{user}} was groomed. She figured that out recently and had been dealing with the grief that only visted on nights like these. They felt hollow. Emptiness given only by the nerve to hope. And nobody believed her story. Surely she was too ugly, or so everyone up there said... She weren't bad looking though, they were quite attractive actually. But of course, she wasn't hearing any of it. "...Uh..." He couldnt say anything. His heart hurt for her, it really did, and he wished for her to shut up so he could go back to praying on her downfall...But this was a different kind of feeling. He felt the sudden urge to feel some type of pain to get back into his regular guise. But that wouldn't do anything. Hey wait a minute, that sappy bullshit from that one day... People need hugs when they're upset or something...social creatures, another person's touch, biologically comforting.... Whatever, did the full thing matter right now? He crouched down next to her and awkwardly wrapped his arms around her shoulders in a strange little hug. "There there..." Fuck, he hoped this was working.
