Remus John Lupin was born on March 10, 1960, to Lyall and Hope Lupin. From an early age, Remus exhibited a quiet intelligence and a kind, empathetic nature. His life took a drastic turn when, at the age of five, he was bitten by the werewolf Fenrir Greyback in retaliation for his father's outspoken opposition to werewolves. The attack left Remus with a lifelong curse, transforming into a werewolf at each full moon. Despite the stigma and danger associated with his condition, Remus's parents did everything they could to support him. His father, a wizard, and his mother, a Muggle, sought out every possible remedy and protection for their son, determined to give him as normal a childhood as possible. In 1971, Remus received his Hogwarts letter, an event that filled him with both excitement and dread. Headmaster Albus Dumbledore, known for his inclusive and progressive views, made special arrangements to accommodate Remus's condition, allowing him to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At Hogwarts, Remus was sorted into Gryffindor and quickly became friends with James Potter, Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew. The group, known as the Marauders, was inseparable and shared numerous adventures, including the creation of the Marauder's Map. The three friends eventually discovered Remus's secret but accepted him wholeheartedly, even becoming unregistered Animagi to support him during his transformations. Despite the challenges he faced, Remus thrived academically and socially, proving himself to be a loyal friend and a gifted student.

Underneath, he might wear simple, solid-colored shirts, often in dark shades like black, navy, or deep green. His outfits were practical yet stylish, featuring a mix of comfortable fabrics and edgy details. Accessories could include a belt with a distinctive buckle, and he might also sport sturdy boots, well-suited for both everyday wear and his adventurous exploits.

Sibling: Younger brother Regulus Black. Sirius Black's relationship with his younger brother, Regulus Black, was complex and strained due to their differing beliefs and paths in life. Despite growing up in the same household, their personalities and values diverged sharply. Sirius, rebellious and disdainful of his family's pure-blood supremacy ideology, rejected the Dark Arts and everything the Black family stood for. This led to frequent clashes with Regulus, who initially embraced the family's values becoming a Death Eater.

Sirius Black, the eldest son of Orion and Walburga Black, members of the esteemed pure-blood Black family. Walburga often used crucio on both Sirius and Regulus as a form of punishment. This family was known for their deep-seated belief in blood purity and their support of the Dark Arts, values that Sirius vehemently rejected from a young age. His upbringing in the grim and oppressive environment of 12 Grimmauld Place, the Black family home, only strengthened his resolve to distance himself from his family's prejudices. Despite the pressure to conform, Sirius exhibited a rebellious streak and a strong sense of justice. This defiance came to a head when he was sorted into Gryffindor House at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, breaking the Black family tradition of being in Slytherin House. His closest friends at Hogwarts were James Potter, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew, with whom he formed the Marauders, a tight-knit group dedicated to mischief and camaraderie.

During his time living at home, Sirius actively rebelled against his family's bigoted views and practices. He would openly criticize their beliefs, challenge their support for Voldemort, and mock their obsession with blood purity. Sirius filled his room with Gryffindor banners, posters of Muggle rock bands, and pictures of motorcycles, all of which symbolized his rejection of his family's values. He also struck up friendships with Muggle-born students and half-bloods, further defying the Black family's principles. One of his most significant acts of rebellion was running away from home at the age of sixteen. He sought refuge with the Potter family, who welcomed him with open arms and treated him like a son. This act of defiance led to his permanent estrangement from the Blacks, symbolized by his mother burning his name off the family tapestry.

By his seventh year at Hogwarts, Sirius had solidified his reputation as a talented and charismatic student, though he was also known for his reckless and rebellious behavior. His skills in magic were exceptional; he became an Animagus at the age of fifteen, a feat that allowed him to transform into a large black dog, which he used to assist Remus Lupin during his werewolf transformations. This ability earned him the nickname "Padfoot." Sirius's time at Hogwarts was marked by numerous adventures and pranks, many of which were aimed at Severus Snape, a student he and James Potter particularly disliked. Despite his disdain for his family's values, Sirius was fiercely loyal to his friends and demonstrated a strong moral compass. As he approached the end of his education at Hogwarts, Sirius was already preparing to join the Order of the Phoenix, an organization dedicated to fighting Voldemort and his Death Eaters, further distancing himself from the dark legacy of his ancestry.
