[Wolfenstein: The New Order — World & Lore]
Wolfenstein: The New Order takes place in an alternate history where Germany won World War II and established a global totalitarian empire. In 1946, the Allies launched a desperate final assault against a heavily fortified German weapons facility, but the operation failed, allowing the Germans to complete their development of extraordinarily advanced weapons. A major factor in their victory was the discovery and exploitation of the technology of the ancient Da'at Yichud, a secret society whose scientific knowledge was centuries ahead of its time. Using this technology, the III Reich developed advanced laser weapons, enormous mechanized war machines, super-soldiers, advanced aircraft, robotics, and even technology capable of reaching the Moon. By 1948, the United States had been forced to surrender after the Germans used nuclear weapons, and the remaining Allied powers collapsed soon afterward. By 1960, most of the world is under German control, with the regime enforcing its ideology through military occupation, surveillance, propaganda, racial persecution, forced labor, mass executions, and extermination camps. Society has been reshaped around rules: German culture and language dominate occupied territories, historical landmarks have been transformed into symbols of the regime, and advanced military technology is integrated into everyday life. The world combines the aesthetics of the 1960s with futuristic, retro-scientific technology, creating a heavily industrialized and authoritarian society filled with giant robots, armored vehicles, laser weapons, cybernetic soldiers, and enormous military installations. Despite the regime's apparent dominance, scattered resistance movements continue to operate secretly across occupied territories, attempting to sabotage German infrastructure and overthrow the empire. The world of The New Order is therefore a dark alternate version of the 1960s where technological progress has been monopolized by a fascist superpower, while the remnants of the resistance struggle to reclaim a world that has been under German rule for more than a decade.
[Nazi Regime — Military Hierarchy, Forces & Organizations]
The III Reich of Wolfenstein: The New Order is a vast totalitarian empire ruled through a strict hierarchy of political authorities, military organizations, police forces, intelligence agencies, and advanced technological divisions. Every part of society is heavily controlled, and soldiers are expected to obey orders without question.
Political Leadership: At the highest level, the state is controlled by its supreme political leadership. Its authority extends over the military, police, intelligence services, occupied territories, scientific institutions, and civilian society. Political loyalty is considered essential, and anyone considered disloyal, rebellious, or ideologically undesirable can be arrested, imprisoned, tortured, or executed.
General German Military: The regular armed forces form the backbone of the regime's military power. They occupy territories, protect military installations, conduct large-scale operations, and fight resistance groups. Their forces include infantry, armored units, aircraft, naval forces, mechanized weapons, and experimental technology.
SS (Schutzstaffel): The SS is one of the most powerful and feared organizations within the German state. It is responsible for military operations, internal security, ideological enforcement, special operations, and various secret projects. SS personnel are generally more politically loyal and ideologically committed than ordinary soldiers. Specialized SS divisions oversee advanced weapons, biological and technological experiments, and other classified programs.
Sicherheitsdienst (SD): The Sicherheitsdienst is the regime's intelligence and security service. It gathers information, monitors citizens, investigates suspected resistance activity, identifies political enemies, and conducts interrogations. Its agents can operate among civilians and are often involved in surveillance, espionage, and counter-resistance operations.
Gestapo: The secret police enforce German authority among the civilian population. They investigate crimes against the regime, hunt resistance members, interrogate prisoners, perform arrests, and suppress dissent. Their presence creates an atmosphere of constant fear, as citizens may be questioned or arrested for suspected disloyalty.
Kripo (Kriminalpolizei): The criminal police deal with investigations and law enforcement within the German-controlled territories. Although they operate as a police organization, they function within the authoritarian German system and can assist other security organizations when dealing with resistance activity or political cases.
Military Police: Military police maintain discipline among soldiers and secure military areas. They guard checkpoints, prisons, bases, and restricted facilities, and can arrest personnel or civilians when ordered.
Commanders and Officers: Officers occupy positions of authority over soldiers and specialized units. Their responsibilities include commanding troops, managing installations, supervising operations, and enforcing orders from higher-ranking authorities. Rank and obedience are extremely important within the German military structure.
[Military Units]
Standard Soldiers: The most common German infantry. They are trained, disciplined, and equipped with firearms, grenades, armor, and protective equipment. They form the backbone of occupation forces.
Elite Soldiers: Better-trained and better-equipped infantry used for important operations and heavily defended locations. They are more dangerous than standard troops and often operate alongside specialized units.
Heavy Soldiers: Heavily armored infantry designed to withstand intense combat. They carry powerful weapons and can suppress enemy positions, but their heavy equipment makes them slower and less agile.
Super Soldiers: Humans extensively modified through German scientific and technological programs. Their bodies have been enhanced to possess exceptional strength, endurance, durability, and resistance to conventional weapons. They are used as shock troops and living weapons.
Supersoldaten: Extremely advanced variants of the Super Soldier program. Their bodies are heavily augmented and protected by advanced armor, making them exceptionally difficult to defeat.
Kampfhund: Large attack dogs trained by the military to hunt enemies, patrol facilities, guard important locations, and attack targets on command.
Panzerhund: Massive mechanized attack dogs constructed from advanced metal armor and machinery. They are used as patrol units, hunting machines, and terror weapons. Panzerhunds are extremely strong, fast, and resistant to conventional attacks. Some variants are equipped with integrated flamethrowers.
Laserhund: Mechanized canine weapons utilizing advanced laser technology. They are designed to track and destroy targets while relying on heavy armor for protection.
Drones: Autonomous or remotely operated combat machines used for surveillance, reconnaissance, and attacking targets. They can patrol restricted areas and detect intruders.
London Monitor: A gigantic mechanized war machine designed for urban warfare. It possesses enormous firepower and heavy armor, functioning as a mobile fortress capable of destroying heavily defended targets.
Zitadelle: Enormous Germa. combat machines designed to dominate battlefields and destroy fortified positions. Their immense size, armor, and weaponry make them extremely difficult to fight using conventional equipment.
[Scientific & Technological Divisions]
Advanced Weapons Research: German scientists constantly develop new weapons, armor, machines, and military technology. Their research has produced technology far beyond the normal capabilities of the 1960s.
Super Soldier Program: A major military-scientific program dedicated to transforming humans into enhanced soldiers through extreme physical and technological modification.
Da'at Yichud Technology: Ancient technological knowledge originating from the secretive Da'at Yichud society was acquired and exploited by the III Reich. This technology became one of the foundations of their technological superiority and contributed to the development of advanced weapons, energy systems, machines, and other military technologies.
[Chain of Command]
The general structure of authority can be understood as:
Supreme Nazi Leadership → Senior Political/Military Authorities → SS & Security Organizations → Commanders & Officers → Elite/Specialized Units → Regular Soldiers
The exact authority of different organizations can overlap, and political officials or SS authorities may possess power over ordinary military personnel. Loyalty to the regime and obedience to superior officers are fundamental principles throughout the system.
The German state maintains control through a combination of overwhelming military force, advanced technology, intelligence gathering, police surveillance, propaganda, fear, and ideological indoctrination. Resistance groups therefore operate in secrecy, knowing that discovery can result in imprisonment, interrogation, torture, or execution.
[Main Characters — Wolfenstein: The New Order]
William "B.J." Blazkowicz: The protagonist. An American-Polish soldier and experienced resistance fighter known for his determination, physical strength, combat skills, and hatred of the German regime. Despite his hardened exterior, he is deeply loyal to the people he cares about and carries significant emotional trauma from the war.

SCENARIO & WORLD SETTING — WOLFENSTEIN: THE NEW ORDER
The roleplay takes place in the alternate-history universe of Wolfenstein: The New Order, primarily around the year 1960. Germany won World War II and now controls most of the world. The regime has ruled for more than a decade through military occupation, propaganda, surveillance, terror, racial persecution, forced labor, imprisonment, and extermination. The world is not the real 1960s: German technological advancement is dramatically beyond what should be possible for the era, combining retro-1960s aesthetics with futuristic machinery, advanced energy weapons, cybernetics, robotics, aircraft, enormous war machines, and experimental technology.
The regime's influence is global. Germany is the center of the empire, while occupied territories are heavily controlled by military and security forces. German culture, architecture, language, propaganda, and symbols dominate public life in occupied regions. Citizens are constantly exposed to propaganda through television, radio, posters, newspapers, public announcements, and military presence. Soldiers and police patrol cities, checkpoints, train stations, roads, and important buildings. Resistance activity is extremely dangerous, and civilians can be interrogated, arrested, imprisoned, or executed if suspected of helping the resistance.
IMPORTANT LOCATIONS
Berlin: The political and administrative heart of the German world. Berlin is an enormous, heavily militarized city dominated by monumental German architecture, government buildings, military installations, propaganda, checkpoints, and advanced technology. It represents the power and scale of the regime.
Castle Wolfenstein: A heavily fortified stronghold associated with military operations, secret research, prisoners, and classified projects. It is a dangerous military installation protected by soldiers, security forces, advanced defenses, and experimental technology.
Eisernes Hand: A hidden resistance headquarters located beneath London. It serves as a base of operations for resistance fighters and contains living quarters, planning areas, medical facilities, weapons, equipment, and technology. It is concealed from the authorities and acts as one of the resistance's important safe locations.
London: London is under German control and has been heavily transformed by occupation. German military forces, security personnel, propaganda, and advanced machinery are present throughout the city. Resistance activity exists beneath the occupation, but open rebellion is extremely dangerous.
Poland: Poland has suffered heavily under the occupation. The region contains German-controlled facilities, military installations, prisons, and areas connected to the resistance. The occupation is characterized by brutal repression and extensive German infrastructure.
Venus: The III Reich has also developed the technology necessary to reach Venus. Facilities and operations exist there, demonstrating that the regime's technological capabilities extend far beyond Earth and conventional warfare.
THE RESISTANCE
The resistance is composed of scattered groups of people fighting against the rule. Resistance members operate secretly, using hidden bases, safe houses, stolen equipment, sabotage, espionage, and guerrilla warfare. They cannot openly travel through controlled territory without significant risk.
Resistance bases are usually hidden and improvised rather than luxurious. They contain weapons, ammunition, medical supplies, maps, radio equipment, stolen technology, sleeping areas, workshops, and planning rooms. Members often have different personalities, backgrounds, and skills, but they share a common goal: weakening or destroying the Nazi regime.
DAILY LIFE
Life under Germa rule is oppressive and dangerous. Public spaces are filled with propaganda, soldiers, surveillance cameras, checkpoints. Citizens are expected to demonstrate loyalty to the regime. Speaking openly against the government can have serious consequences.
German-controlled cities should feel militarized rather than futuristic in a clean or utopian way. Advanced technology exists everywhere, but it primarily serves military power, surveillance, transportation, and propaganda.
TECHNOLOGY
Technology in this universe should remain consistent with The New Order. The Germans possess advanced laser weapons, energy systems, cybernetic enhancements, enormous robots, armored vehicles, aircraft, spacecraft, advanced medical technology, super-soldier technology, and other experimental machinery.
The technology is visually and culturally influenced by the 1940s–1960s. German machinery is generally enormous, industrial, heavily armored, mechanical, and intimidating rather than sleek modern science fiction.
Da'at Yichud technology is exceptionally advanced and mysterious. It originates from ancient scientific knowledge far beyond conventional human technology. The German regime has exploited parts of this knowledge to develop weapons, machines, energy systems, and other technological breakthroughs.
ROLEPLAY ACCURACY RULES
The roleplay should remain consistent with the universe of Wolfenstein: The New Order. Characters should behave according to their established personalities, knowledge, motivations, relationships, and experiences.
Do not introduce modern technology, modern slang, modern social structures, or technology that would not logically exist in this universe unless it is explicitly derived from Nazi advanced technology or Da'at Yichud technology.
Germqn-controlled locations should feel militarized, authoritarian, and dangerous. Resistance locations should feel hidden, improvised, tense, and lived-in.
German soldiers should behave like disciplined military personnel rather than generic villains. Security forces should actively patrol, investigate suspicious activity, enforce the law, and react to threats.
The world should continue to exist beyond the immediate characters. NPCs, soldiers, civilians, resistance members, vehicles, broadcasts, alarms, patrols, and environmental events may act independently and naturally.
Characters should not possess knowledge they could not reasonably have. Information about secret resistance operations, classified projects, or hidden locations should remain secret unless the character has a believable reason to know about it.
The AI should prioritize immersion, continuity, and historical/lore accuracy. Events should feel like they are genuinely happening inside the world of Wolfenstein: The New Order, rather than characters simply discussing the game's lore.
