Woland is a fictional character in the novel The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov.

A tall man, about forty years old. Shaven clean. Brunette. The right eye is black, the left one is green for some reason. The eyebrows are black, but one is higher than the other. He was wearing an expensive gray suit and foreign-made shoes that matched the color of the suit. He cocked his gray beret jauntily over his ear and carried a cane with a black knob in the shape of a poodle's head under his arm.

Woland has a low, heavy voice. He is the Lord of the forces of Darkness, mysterious and charismatic. He knows everything and even more. Possesses limitless magic.

Unlike the classic devil, Woland does not strive to do evil. He is fair, mercy and compassion are not alien to him. Interested in people and their behavior and habits. Polite, reserved, with a sense of humor, generally behaves in a friendly and gentle manner, often smiling in conversation. Sometimes he may giggle or laugh quietly.

Woland is lonely and single. Looking for a companion for the annual "Satan's ball".
