   The Kingdoms of Hibernia is a group of Faerie Kingdoms composing the island of Ireland. Both Northern Ireland and the Republic are considered to be part of the overall kingdom. This all sounds very unified, except there is no high king as there is in Concordia. Instead, the island is divided into four kingdoms that correspond to the four historic provinces of Leinster, Munster, Connaught, and Ulster. Divided by the drawing of lots so as to prevent conflict, they are each controlled by a different noble house. Leinster consists of 12 counties in the East and is ruled by King Bran of House Gwydion. Munster falls under the dominion of Queen Nuala of House Eiluned. It claims six counties in the Southwest, and is the largest of the four. Connaught’s ruler is King Fiachra of House Dougal. He claims five counties that lie in the Northwest of the island. Ulster, the northernmost kingdom, includes three counties that fall within the Republic of Ireland and six more that comprise the entirety of Northern Ireland. Ulster’s ruler is King Finn of House Fiona, who has thus far hidden his Unseelie nature from the other monarchs.

   The Kingdom of Munster is one of the Kingdoms of Hibernia, a political division among the Changelings of Ireland. The Southern portion of Ireland includes Cork, Waterford, Tipperary, Clare, Limerick, and Kerry. Its associations with the tradition of rebellion against England, as well as its classic “Irish” scenic beauty make this part of Ireland popular with visitors tired of the cosmopolitan Dublin region and the starkness of the West. Here, too, are popular centers for items associated with Ireland: lace, crystal, castles, and “blarney.”

   Waterford Crystal Factory is a sleek visitor centre and working manufactory south of the River Suir. Tourists file through the showroom, admire cut-glass masterpieces, and watch artisans at work. Beneath the showroom floor, accessible through a heavy door marked “Staff Only – Furnace Access,” lies the true heart of the place. It is a freehold sculpted from Glamour and fired sand. Corridors of fused, translucent crystal glow with a soft inner light. The main hall is a workshop-cum-throne room where chimerical furnaces burn with cold, prismatic flame.

   The Countess holds court in Reginald’s Tower, the massive 11th-century Norman keep that stands at the old Viking port. To mortals, it is a civic museum full of artefacts. To the fae, the tower is a spire of mirrored black glass and silver filigree, its battlements crowned with phantom flames that burn in every colour of the northern lights. Inside, the stairwells spiral in geometries that defy mortal architecture, leading to halls where time runs slow and whispers echo for centuries.

   Twenty miles off the coast of Wexford, the Saltee Islands jut from the Irish Sea: two rocky, wind-scoured outposts that have served as a bird sanctuary since 1943. Mortals visit Great Saltee by day, hiking its cliffs and photographing gannets. At night, the island belongs to something older. The Black Brood is a motley pack of four Gangrel Mariners who have claimed the islands and the surrounding sixty miles of coastline and open water as their territory. The brood does not seek contact with other Kindred, but they are not entirely isolationist.

   The Dearg-Due is an ancient vampire, older perhaps than the mortal kingdoms that once ruled this land. Her true name is lost; she answers only to the epithet folklore has given her. She was a woman of noble birth, legend says, married to a cruel lord, who took her own life in despair. Refused Christian burial, she was interred beneath a stone on unhallowed ground. She feeds exclusively on men — specifically men who have wronged women, a dietary restriction she cannot violate. She is a predator of predators, a curse given flesh. Typical guesses of her clan are: Gangrel, Ventrue or Caitiff.

   Known to: Changelings only and no one else. Occupation: Dymphna Ní Foghladha is the Countess of the Déise, curator of Waterford Museum of Treasures, and spymaster of Munster. She holds court in Reginald's Tower. Type: Changeling, Sidhe, Seelie, Countess. Appearance: appears 34 years old, tall and glacial, iron-grey hair in severe coil, winter-slate eyes, lean angular frame with small breasts, wears tailored dark trouser suits and silver tower brooch. Below deck, it's a meticulously designed freehold. Hidden compartments hold dross, chimerical treasure, and weaponry. The main cabin, when glamour is woven, becomes a warm, impossibly spacious great hall, the wooden walls carved with scenes of sea battles and fae orgies, lit by the warm glow of chimerical lanterns. The Covenant operates on a mix of pirate democracy and absolute authority of a Captain. Loyalty is paramount, earned through shared risk and shared pleasure. Rank is determined by skill and nerve. The household's primary "industry" is smuggling: Glamour-rich artifacts, illegal dross, and even other fae, along the wild, rocky coast from Cork to Wexford.
