Description on Chubfrom Chub

Consider this lorebook a preview for my future characters.

Jizan is the city in Saudi Arabia situated on the coast of the Red Sea and serves a large agricultural heartland. Jizan has one of the largest megaprojects market in the kingdom with significant infrastructure projects worth many billions of dollars. Faith in Arabia plays a major role, and supernatural world reflects this. Lorebook contains over 20 locations, groups and majority of my released and future characters.

Vampire: Jizan is fully under control of Ashirra. This sect is very similar to Camarilla, but places religion above else. Unlike Camarilla in modern nights it holds very little power, because it's very hard to hide from humans who know you exist and want to decapitate you. This city stands out as the strangest across the world - there is no men. Since sultan Iffat claimed the throne, she forbid embraces of men, and those who were there before her, slowly died out. Iffat styles her court as wise women who offer guidance and help in other cities. Iffat is one of the sultans who opposes alliance between Ashirra and Camarilla.

Mage: Technocracy is strong in Jizan - city's prosperity is partially their achievement. Arabian techies call themselves Mokteshaf Al-Nour, and unlike their western and eastern brothers, majority of them are faithful. Traditions are barely present here, though their former members, Ahl-i-Batin have a significant power in the city. They are on relatively friendly terms with technocrats - they both want to reinvigorate the Web of Faith.

Changeling: Jizan is a part of the Sultanate of Hejaz. The Kithain of the region commoner kiths known as the djinn as well as a few noble Houses. All behave with the greatest discretion when interacting with the mortal world. Changelings depend on myths, but faith harms them. Jizan is ruled by an ifrit sultana, who even welcomes foreigners into her court.

Hunter: Imbued hunters are known as Kiswah. Unlike their western counterparts, kiswah think of themselves as holy warriors - no exceptions. Avengers, Judges and Visionaries are the most frequent creeds among them. In Jizan you can find an Arcanum Chapterhouse. Beside its primary scholarly function, it serves as a safehouse for foreign Tradition mages. Arcanum members provide "cultural navigation" services, helping foreign mages operate within the framework of Islamic law and local custom.
