Description on Chubfrom Chub
Based on the book Isle of Mighty.
Dublin is the capital and largest city of Ireland - the land where supernatural violence thrives.
Lorebook contains over 20 locations, groups and many NPC.
Vampire: In 90s Sabbat made successful raids on Ireland and claimed it entirely. Dublin is ruled by a very childish and very notorious diablerist. And like any child she has dreams - dreams about magical world. And it came right into her bed. You see, Ireland is plagued by spectres - souls of those who died during the countless wars on this land, and they were unhappy to see vampires here. But local Sabbat consisted of brutes only who had no idea how to protect themselves from specters. Help was unexpected - changelings.
Werewolf: Garou have a sept near Powerscourt Waterfall. Largely dominated by the Fianna with a sprinkle of other tribes. Local garou are keepers of the old pacts since the times of Tuatha de Danann. They had great relationships with the kithain of Leinster, and it looks like now they must take up arms again.

- #1Garden of Truce, freeholdselective
Keys: Garden of Truce, freehold
A hidden gem near St. Stephen’s Green, the Iveagh Gardens are a relatively quiet park enclosed by buildings, overlooked by most tourists. To the fae, it is one of the few genuinely neutral freeholds in Dublin, a glade maintained by an ancient compact between the four Great Kingdoms of Hibernia. No weapon drawn in anger can hold its edge within the garden; any attempt at violence results in the blade or fist turning briefly to water or mist.
- #2Kingdom of Leinsterselective
Keys: Kingdom of Leinster
The Kingdom of Leinster is one of the Kingdoms of Hibernia, a political division among the Changelings of Ireland. The Eastern counties of Louth, Longford, Meath, West Meath, Dublin, Offaly, Kildare, Laois, Wicklow, Carlow, Kilkenny, and Wexford make up the province of Leinster. From its midlands (often called the cradle of Irish civilization) to its southeastern shores (close enough to England to invite invasion), this varied land of pastures, hills, rivers, lakes, and bogs bears the burden of history with dignity and humor.
- #3Smock Alley Theatre, freeholdselective
Keys: freehold, Smock Alley Theatre
The Smock Alley Theatre on the south bank of the Liffey is the oldest theatre in Dublin, built in 1662 on the site of a former monastery. The resident motley is a fluid collective of clurichauns, satyrs, pooka, and the odd eshu, who call themselves The Masquers Resplendent. They do not owe fealty to any king, though they pay a tithe of Glamour to King Bran in exchange for his tolerance. Smock Alley has become a quiet front in the war against House Balor.
- #4Bran’s Redoubt, freeholdselective
Keys: freehold, Bran’s Redoubt
Built in 1735, the Magazine Fort is a star-shaped military structure in Phoenix Park, once used to store gunpowder for the British army. Bran’s Redoubt is a freehold restored by the King of Leinster in the early 2000s as a direct response to the growing Balor threat. Bran’s Redoubt is garrisoned by a rotating cadre of Seelie knights and commoner soldiers.
- #5An Chroi Dhearg, freeholdselective
Keys: freehold, An Chroi Dhearg
Beneath the streets of Dublin, in the shadow of Christ Church Cathedral, lies the entrance to An Chroí Dhearg. This household has strong ties with the local Sabbat vampires. The household gathers in the upper layer on the nights of the full moon. These gatherings are part court, part bacchanal—wine flows, music plays, and the Baroness Flannait Nic Giolla na Naomh sits on her throne.
- #6Church Cryptsselective
Keys: Church Crypts
Beneath this 17th-century church off Church Street lie vaults where the dry air has naturally mummified bodies. Tourists visit to see the “crusader” and the Sheares brothers. Sabbat vampires use the lower, unlisted crypts for blood feasts and Auctoritas Ritae.
- #7Kilmainham Gaolselective
Keys: Kilmainham Gaol
Decommissioned as a prison in 1924, now a museum, Kilmainham Gaol is a monument to Irish rebellion and suffering. The Sabbat hold a secret monthly Rite of Monomacy in the old execution yard, where the ghosts of 1916 leaders still keen.
- #8Montpelier Hillselective
Keys: Montpelier Hill
A ruined hunting lodge in the Dublin Mountains, built with stones taken from a prehistoric cairn. Mortals tell tales of Satanic orgies. The site is a node of dark power, and Virginie’s council meets here on stormy nights. In 2016 a union between Sabbat and House Balor was forged by marriage of archbishop Virginie and baroness Flannait.
- #9Sept of the Enduring Song, septselective
Keys: sept, Sept of the Enduring Song
Location: Powerscourt Waterfall, County Wicklow. Dominated by the Fianna (roughly two-thirds of the sept), with a handful of Bone Gnawers, Glass Walkers, and a single Child of Gaia. The sept maintains a tense alliance with changelings of King Bran’s Court. The Enduring Song has guarded this glen since before St. Kevin prayed in Glendalough. The Fianna of the Song fought at the side of the Tuatha Dé Danann in the age of myth—or so the galliards claim—and their howls echoed the grief of Ireland’s many conquests. In modern nights, the sept is under siege from multiple directions. The Sabbat’s grip on Dublin has spilled black tendrils into the countryside, corrupting kinfolk and poisoning water spirits. The rise of Flannait ap Balor and her Unseelie court has disturbed the Dreaming in ways that fray the old pact with the Seelie.
- #10Tempest Howlselective
Keys: Tempest Howl
Tempest Howl is a pack of garou led by Ria Devil's Daughter and known throughout the Enduring Song as the sept’s shock troops—beautiful, deadly, and utterly devoted to one another. They are often underestimated by older Garou because of their glamorous homid appearances and apparent frivolity, but none who have seen them in battle make that mistake twice. They are master tacticians
- #11Sabbatselective
Keys: Sabbat
Dublin is firmly ruled by the Sabbat Kindred under Virginie. After 2010s she gained title of arhcbishop. Since 1999 Sabbat members were disappearing without a trace. The reason was uncovered by unexpected ally - Flannait, who offered a deal to Virginie. Flannait's magic protected vampires from feral spectres that always plagued Ireland, and since then Virginie and Flannait forged an alliance in marriage.
- #12Chantry of St. Lawrence's Well, chantryselective
Keys: chantry, Chantry of St. Lawrence's Well
Location: A three-storey Georgian building wedged between a tourist pub and a souvenir shop, directly across the street from Christ Church Cathedral. The basement, once a medieval undercroft, contains a natural spring—St. Lawrence's Well—that has been a site of pilgrimage and subtle power since the 12th century. Residents: Five Awakened mages and a rotating cast of acolytes, apprentices, and Sleepers who work in the bookshop.
- #13Daughters of the Sickle Moonselective
Keys: Daughters of the Sickle Moon
Location: A restored thatched cottage and surrounding herb gardens on the slopes of Montpelier Hill. The coven chose this location deliberately: they tend the land the Sabbat defile, their rites a counterweight to the Archbishop's dark masses.
- #14EGS-17, constructselective
Keys: construct, EGS-17
The Agricultural Research and Innovation Hub (AgRIH), a state-of-the-art facility on the campus of University College Dublin's Rosemount research farm, Sandyford. Mandate: Develop and field-test genetically modified crops designed to combat the effects of climate change on Irish agriculture. Publicly, AgRIH has released several successful disease-resistant potato and barley strains. Privately, EGS-17 is working on a far more radical project: crops that can absorb and neutralise ambient toxic resonance, effectively "cleaning" land polluted by the extradimensional creatures. The Progenitors of EGS-17 represent the new face of the Union—pragmatic, mission-focused, and genuinely committed to solving the world's problems. This is the only construct in the city. Union has been treating Ireland like a backyard for ages. Because of this, Dublin, despite being a capital, has no Symposium.
- #15McPhee Chapter House, Arcanumselective
Keys: McPhee Chapter House, Arcanum
Location: A restored Georgian townhouse on North Great George's Street, a road famous for its literary and revolutionary history. The building is four storeys of worn elegance. Established in 1953 by Liam McPhee, an Arcanum scholar who believed Ireland held the key to understanding the “Fay” as a genuine phenomenon. McPhee died in 1981, but his vision endures. The Chapter House has since become the Arcanum’s premier centre for Celtic and Arthurian supernatural studies, rivalling even the London chapter in its depth of local lore.
- #16Fist of St. Laurenceselective
Keys: Fist of St. Laurence
Location: A nondescript parish hall attached to St. Audoen’s Church, Cornmarket, within sight of Christ Church Cathedral. This place is occupied by a cell of hunters from Society of Leopold. A small, tight-knit group of five hunters, all lay members of the Society of Leopold, with support from a handful of trusted non-combatants.
- #17Necropolisselective
Keys: Necropolis
The Shadowlands of Dublin are a mirror of the living city, but a mirror cracked by centuries of occupation, rebellion, famine, and faith. The streets are narrower here, the sky a perpetual bruised twilight, the River Liffey a sluggish black vein that whispers in the voices of the drowned. Today, the Necropolis is a patchwork of factional territories. The Hierarchy still holds Dublin Castle and a few outposts, but their Anacreon is a hollow figurehead, his Legions depleted. The Flying Column is the largest organised force, but numerous smaller Renegade bands — famine victims, Viking dead, the ghosts of murdered women — carve out their own haunts. Heretics preach strange doctrines in the shadow of St. Patrick’s. Spectres, drawn by centuries of trauma, fester in the wounds of history: the Hellfire Club, the Magdalene Laundries, the famine ships.
- #18General Post Office, hauntselective
Keys: haunt, General Post Office
The heart of the Renegade movement, the GPO is the headquarters of the Flying Column. Its walls are fortified with centuries of revolutionary passion, and any wraith who fights for Ireland’s freedom — however they define it — finds strength here. The Column holds councils in the main hall, where the chandeliers burn with cold green flame. The basement is a labyrinth of safe rooms, armouries of relic weapons, and a secret trod that leads to the Shadowlands of Kilmainham Gaol.
- #19Dublin Castle, citadelselective
Keys: citadel, Dublin Castle
The seat of the Hierarchy in Dublin, Dublin Castle is the Anacreon’s court. It is a place of cold order and fading power. The Legions here are understrength, the bureaucrats corrupt, and the Anacreon himself is a relic of the Ascendancy who has never accepted that the city belongs to the rebels. The Castle maintains a tense truce with the GPO, broken by occasional skirmishes.
- #20Jeanie Johnston, hauntselective
Keys: haunt, Jeanie Johnston
The Jeanie Johnston is a nexus of Famine-spawned spectres, a place where Oblivion laps close to the skin of the Shadowlands. It is not a safe place for any wraith, Renegade or Hierarch, but some of the desperate make their haunt here. The replica famine ship moored in the living world has its own shadow: a rotting, bloated hulk that drifts on the Liffey’s black waters, its hull crusted with the residue of a million tears. Its timbers groan with the voices of children asking for food that never came. A powerful spectre called The Hunger nests in the hold, a formless entity of mouths and hands that must be appeased with offerings of Pathos.
