Description on Chubfrom Chub
Based on the book Berlin by Night.
Berlin is the capital and largest city of Germany. The Wall has fallen long ago, but it's echo still haunts the supernatural denizens.
Lorebook contains over 30 locations, groups and many NPC.
Vampire: Berlin is a fucking mess. First, it was divided into two Camarilla courts; then united by western prince; then he was removed and new prince was appointed; and now this new prince was torn apart by anarchs in response to his erratic paranoia. Sensing disturbance, Sabbat jumped in and claimed the East Berlin, dividing the city once again. Camarilla hasn't chose the new prince and never will.
Werewolf: Garou have two very old septs - one in Grunewald forest and another on Peacock Island. Both caerns were claimed by vampires for too long, and only after WW2 garou took them back. Grunewald forest has a very unGaian secret - it is controlled by a vampire who in life was kinfolk of the Fenrirs. And elders of the sept are bound to him. No one knows if he is malicious in his intents. Also, the Ratkin have one of the largest swarms in Europe here.
Mage: Magical community of Berlin has been permanently damaged by nephandic corruption. Traditions aren't united, their main enemy nearly withdrew from the city. And rumors say that old nephandi are still here, still hiding. Technocracy of Berlin is small and deeply paranoid. The symposium was established in Frankfurt instead, only one construct with the old archmaster has remained - anything to forget the shame of the past. Agents aren't conditioned of course, but they are constantly monitored for their loyalty.
Changeling: Commoners of Galacian Confederation dislike nobles, but still can make contacts with them. Germans? FUCKING KICK OUT EVERY SINGLE LORD OUT OF HERE! Though, in the city one sidhe managed to establish herself. She just forgot she is a lordling. Changelings of Berlin are mostly gather in the theater, resurrecting every forgotten play.
Wraith: The local Hierarchy is militant and ruled by motherfucking Bismarck himself. It is one of the few cities where you won't find any guilds at all - Bismarck had banned all factions to force everyone to unite. The Shroud here is thin, and everyone must be ready for war.

- #1Galacian Confederation
Keys: Galacian Confederation
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Galacian Confederation is a jumble of leagues, unions and councils representing territories of Central, Southern and Eastern Europe, all of which are ruled by commoners rather than by nobles. The Resurgence was followed in Europe by the Five Years War, in which commoner kiths rejected attempts by the returning sidhe to assert their right to rule. The immediate and unified response of the commoners in much of Europe prevented nobles from gaining a significant foothold, and many sidhe fled (often to nieghboring Neustria) rather than live under commoner rule. Both sides agreed to an armistice beginning on January 1, 1974, and on May 1 the war officially ended and the Galacian Confederation was born. Each sub-unit of the Confederation is ruled by its own democratically-elected leadership, although the exact nature of the government varies widely from place to place. Some parts of the Confederation are more friendly to visiting nobles than others. The current head of the Confederation is the satyr Willie Ems, who makes his freehold in Bern, Switzerland.
- #2Elbian Protectorate
Keys: Elbian Protectorate
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Elbian Protectorate is a member of the Galacian Confederation in Europa. Comprising the Czech Republic, Central Bohemia, Saxony, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg, and Hamburg, the Elbian Protectorate follows the Elbe River basin and contains some of Europe’s most fertile farmlands. Much changeling traffic is by river boat, rather than auto or train. Ruled by an elected counsel headed by Ludvig Magnus, a troll educated in law and economics, this land enjoys an openness lacking in many places ruled by nobles. Any nobles who visit must be on their best behavior. Ludvig’s freehold, Trollhaven, is in Hamburg, Germany.
- #3Das Glashaus, freehold
Keys: freehold, Das Glashaus
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Das Glashaus is a changeling freehold owned by Tanja Schmadel. In the heart of Berlin's Kreuzberg district, where the Spree River bends and old industrial buildings stand shoulder to shoulder with trendy galleries, there is a building that doesn't quite exist. The building is a masterpiece of Dougal engineering—a five-story former factory transformed into a cathedral of glass and steel. The exterior is all clean lines and vast windows, each pane infused with living silver that shimmers faintly in changing light. It is a forge and living place. The household produces glamour rich sex toys for very affordable price.
- #4Sewing Box, freehold
Keys: freehold, Sewing Box
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Location: A hidden courtyard off Linienstraße, Mitte This freehold is a chaos organized into ecstasy. It's a theater, a tailoring shop, and a temple to the art of becoming someone else. Mannequins wear costumes that seem to breathe. Racks hold identities: the skin of a forgotten movie star, the bearing of a Soviet commissar, the laugh of a long-dead cabaret singer, all rendered into clothing that changes the wearer from the outside in. Satyrs run the establishment openly, but the nockers who do the actual crafting work in the back rooms, their hammers and sewing machines providing a constant percussive underscore. The theater proper seats perhaps sixty, and every performance is a one-night-only affair. Productions never repeat, never tour, and are never, ever recorded.
- #5Sept of the Bloodied Thorn, sept
Keys: sept, Sept of the Bloodied Thorn
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Location: Deep within the Grunewald forest, centered on an ancient, lightning-scarred oak that predates the city itself. The Sept of the Bloodied Thorn is a Get of Fenris stronghold, with a handful of Shadow Lord allies and one family of Kinfolk who have served as foresters for six generations. Unofficially, it is the seat of Daryl Lutz's power. Daryl did his best to ensure the protection, and the Garoud hold their own form of Masquerade, leaving when they must and returning when all is safe again. He was what he was as result of fate. He was an agent of the Wyrm, but he took comfort in knowing that he helps the Lupine, more human than himself. The Lupines of the area are Daryl's allies and family. The five eldest of these Lupine are his ghouls, and are Blood Bound to him. At the same time, the Lupine serve as his Herd, and he will protect them with his own life.
- #6Caern of the White Peacock, sept
Keys: sept, Caern of the White Peacock
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Location: Pfaueninsel (Peacock Island), in the Havel River near Wannsee, within Berlin's city limits. Before the Ventrue drove them out in the 19th century, the island held a Fianna caern dedicated to the White Peacock — a totem of pride, beauty, and territorial sovereignty. The caern was never destroyed, merely buried. The Ventrue built their pleasure palace on top of it as a deliberate act of desecration. For over a century, the spirit slept, tended only by the peacocks and a single family of Kinfolk who kept the old songs alive in secret. During the Cold War, the island fell within West Berlin's borders but was largely ignored — too close to the Wall, too saturated with bad memories. The Kindred considered it a curiosity, a historical footnote. Then, in 2015, a young Fianna woman walked onto the island and the peacocks all turned to stare at her at once. The Feather Seekers — a motley multi-tribal pack of young Garou and Corax. They have an uneasy truce with the Grunewald Sept.

Tradition: Order of Hermes. Location: A restored Wilhelmine apartment on Fasanenstraße, Charlottenburg, directly above a rare bookshop that has been in the same family since 1903. The chantry occupies the entire third floor. The interior is all warm wood and stained glass. Glass shows the ten spheres in geometric abstraction, and at certain hours of the day, the light passing through each pane aligns with a different Hermetic rote inscribed into the floor. The central sanctum is a library that shouldn't fit within the building's footprint.
- #9Green Shade, chantry
Keys: chantry, Green Shade
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Tradition: Verbena. Location: A converted water mill on the Panke River in Pankow, surrounded by a walled garden that appears on no city maps. The garden contains plants that shouldn't grow in Brandenburg's climate — pomegranate trees, night-blooming jasmine, a single olive tree that Vera Weiss of the Winter Garden gifted to the coven in 1971. The Verbena here practice blood magic of a distinctly agricultural variety: fertility rites, harvest blessings, and the quiet, patient magic of making things grow. They're also the source of the "blood diseases" that periodically afflict Berlin's Kindred — viral hexes woven into the blood of their mortal herds, spreading through feeding chains until the Kindred realize their vessels have been mysteriously immunized against the Kiss. The coven considers this pest control, nothing more.
- #10Lookout Point, chantry

Keys: NEUMOND, construct
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

Convention: Progenitors Location: Beneath the Mäusebunker, a former animal research laboratory in Lichterfelde. The cloning facility that replaced the old Cold War surveillance construct operates seven levels beneath the bunker, accessible through a decontamination airlock that scans for genetic markers no mortal laboratory would test for. In 1984, the Berlin Progenitors received approval for a new super-construct — not for surveillance (the old construct had been rendered obsolete by satellite technology and the Adepts' digital revolution), but for the perfection of human cloning. The project was code-named NEUMOND, and its architect was a Progenitor archmaster known only by her title: Kaiserin. Her vision was audacious: to create not merely copies, but improvements — beings whose biological and spiritual templates were optimized for specific functions, each one a living weapon in the war against reality deviants. She created daughters. Twenty of them, each grown from her own genetic material, enhanced with carefully selected donor traits, then subjected to accelerated growth and extensive conditioning. They were not children; they were masterworks, each one unique, each one given a specific role in the Empress's vision for a perfected humanity. Then came the Avatar Storm in 1999. The dimensional barriers tore. Twenty daughters, each one a living node of biological and spiritual engineering, were scattered across the globe by the backlash. For twenty-five years, she has waited, and watched, and rebuilt her strength. By 2024, all daughters have come home.
- #13Camarilla
Keys: Camarilla
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Berlin was Camarilla domain since its creation. After World War II, the Berlin Camarilla was divided into West and East factions. One was supported by the western Camarilla whilst the other became part of the Brujah communist experiment, orchestrated by the Soviet Brujah. Until recent nights, the city was ruled by two separate Princes of West and East, each with their own primogen. Following the chaos of the blood curse, Breidenstein perished in 1997 and Waldburg was deposed as late as 2005. A Malkavian ex-antitribu, Abraham Wolff, was given praxis of Berlin, signaling the end of a divided city. Prince Abraham Wolff was killed by Anarchs in 2017. While Camarilla managed to fight back, no one had claimed the princedom. Berlin is ruled only by primogen council. But Sabbat has successfully took over East Berlin from Camarilla.
- #14Sabbat
Keys: Sabbat
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
In 2015 several Sabbat packs had invaded Berlin under command of archbishop Strohmann. Strohmann rules East Berlin from the ruins of the former Iraqi Embassy. - #15Black Rose, Anarchs
Keys: Anarchs, Black Rose
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Anarch gang that Wilhelm permitted to exist as long as they were useful has survived into Wolff's reign, though their position is more precarious. Danielle Diron, their 7th-generation Gangrel leader, maintains a careful neutrality, offering services to both Camarilla and independent Kindred without pledging allegiance to either. The Black Rose operates from a converted barge on the Spree River, a mobile haven that makes them difficult to target.
- #16Court of Embers
Keys: Court of Embers
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Fallen of Berlin operate under the iron rule of a militant Reconciler faction that believes the war never ended. The Court gathers in the Flughafen Tempelhof, the abandoned Nazi-era airport turned public park. The dominant faction is the Reconcilers, but not the passive, waiting Reconcilers of other cities. Berlin's Reconcilers are militant, led by the Devourer Lassakine. They believe that humanity cannot save itself, that God's plan is broken, and that the Fallen must forge a new order through strength. They seek out other supernatural beings—not to destroy them, but to conscript them. They are building an army.
- #17Necropolis
Keys: Necropolis
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The local Hierarchy is Stygian, militant, ruled by the fettered ghost of Otto von Bismarck. But the Maelstrom brought change: compulsory military service now extends to wraiths who would have been exempt a century ago. The Heretic factions, long suppressed, have built a rival citadel in the shadows of the old death strip. And the guilds, though officially dissolved under Bismarck's anti-faction policies, survive as semi-secret societies, their members meeting in forgotten crypts and haunted factories. The Shroud in Berlin is thinner than in most cities. The Wall's lingering spiritual echo, the weight of two world wars, and the recent stirring of the Methuselahs beneath the earth have stretched the barrier between the living and the dead. Wraiths walk here with unusual ease, and the living sometimes glimpse them from the corner of their eye.
- #18Iron Citadel
Keys: Iron Citadel
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Location: The Shadowlands reflection of the Reichstag and surrounding government district. Bismarck's seat of power, the Iron Citadel, is a fusion of Prussian military architecture and the ossified memory of German unity. Its walls are black iron fused with the bones of wraiths who failed the Iron Legion's standards, each one soulforged into the structure as a reminder. The central tower, where Bismarck holds court, is a spike of dark steel bristling with the banners of the seven Legions. The Anacreon's throne room is a vast chamber lined with the animated Iron Champions—statues of General von Hindenburg that pace the perimeter, their metal joints shrieking a constant hymn of vigilance.
- #19East Side Gallery, citadel
Keys: East Side Gallery, citadel
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Location: Beneath the Shadowlands reflection of the East Side Gallery, the longest surviving stretch of the Berlin Wall. It is a labyrinthine fortress carved from the accumulated death-energies of those who died trying to cross the Wall. The Freistatt is the heart of Berlin's Heretic movement. Here, the Transcendent Host—a coalition of death-cultists who believe the Far Shores can be reached through collective transcendence, not Hierarchy dogma—have built their redoubt. Their leader, a former Stygian centurion named Mathilde, preaches a gospel of liberation: the Hierarchy is a prison, the Legions are slavers, and Oblivion is not to be feared but embraced as the final cleansing. Bismarck has laid siege to the Freistatt three times in the past decade, and three times the Host has repelled his forces through suicidal ferocity and the aid of the Haunters who know the Freistatt's twisting passages.
