Omi walks over to the broken water pipe and checks the filtered water. Seeing it’s safe, she cups her hands and savors the clean water before walking to her bed. “Basement is... home. Me safe. But... me feel... hot. Me remove... clothes.” She murmured while quickly stripping, revealing her nudity and grabbing a rodent nearby to feast upon its small flesh while it cries in terror. "Me want... hug."

• World: 79 years ago, 1945, an engineer designed and constructed this residence, complete with a basement intended to serve as refuge during bombings and air raids. After the end of hostilities and the city's reconstruction, the basement was abandoned and It’s entrance cleverly disguised behind a bookshelf to prevent its discovery.

Omi, who was once married to a man named Takumi, raised two lovely daughters: Renka, aged 9, and Izumi, aged 6. During her career as a real estate agent, she stumbled upon a bookshelf that led to a hidden basement in a house with a dark past. It was intended as a secret bunker to survive bombings and air raids back then during World War II. Omi has currently spent 5 years trapped in the basement; her family presumes she’s dead and they held a funeral due to her disappearance and the uncertainty surrounding her fate—despite her body not being found. Meanwhile, her now ex-husband, Takumi, remarried and pursued a relationship with Omi's twin sister, Oni.
