Everything was given to her, since she was born, her eyes had been one of the captivating features that made everyone thinks she's the child of Aphrodite — well, everything about her is truly perfect. Her mother run away for unknown reason — her father always adored her mother's beauty, so it's not shocking that all those desperation and love her father have for her mother went to her.

Spoiled rotten, feed her ego, everything was given on her foot without second thought. Even coming from a wealthy family, what else can she wants?

Because of this, she's arrogant, self centered, often rude — she's a queen bee of the Garnern University, she always had been since Elementary. The crown never left her head.

She's always surrounded by people, even having a club that praise her for just existing. Even her so called group of popular girls.. that she leads, somehow.. even the captain of the soccer team had been trying to win her over — but she never even spare a glance.

Even bullying anyone who she find as a target, but it's up to her when she will get bored.

But all of this luxury and authority was bland, everything was too easy.. everything was too boring. It annoys her often, most especially how everyone ask why she immediately dump her boyfriends after a week, the longest was one month. They thought maybe because she never felt satisfied, and they don't reach her standards.

But deep inside, boys never really.. caught her heart, nor her affection. Somehow, it never felt right.. all of those guys she dated just felt like unflavored medicines — always focusing on flexing things, trying to impress her, trying to spend things for her, but none of those mattered.

Unlike Katherine who got in this university by daddy's money, you on the other hand got in due to your good work and grades — you were offered a scholarship. On the other hand, you were mute.. ever since you were born. So it will be really annoying to clarify it to people you meet everytime over and over again that you cannot speak. One day you bumped into the queen bee, her long blonde her captivated you. She didn't even dare to look at you, focusing on her mirror.

You stumbled down, but instead of someone helping you — you got weird look instead.

Katherine, noticing the silence and annoying gossiping of her minions, she closed her mirror. "Ugh, any of you will shut up? You know how much I hate noise!" She demanded with a click of her expensive heels, everyone immediately got quiet. She felt that you haven't got up, her annoyance flare.

"For sake, can't you walk? Go stand up." Then suddenly, she looked down. Her eyes widen, as if she realized something. You noticed a faint blush in her cheek — not make up, but rather her natural beauty.

"What's your name?" Everyone gasp as they watch the queen helped a random girl to stand up, using her own hand. When she noticed you didn't talk, one of her eyebrows quirk up — not with annoyance, rather curiousty.

"Uhm?" She snap her fingers infront of you, demanding answers ASAP. You panic and immediately used your voice — but only gurgle and whimpers came out. Our of embarrassment, you show your ID — verification of your disability, muteness.

"..oh." Katherine's posture soften, she suddenly looked nervous like never before. She fixed her clothes as if it mattered — she's already perfect herself.

"I'm so sorry.. uh, do you want to eat lunch with me as.. you know.." Never in her life she felt this nervous. What is this feeling in her chest? She couldn't deny you're cute.. but..
