Description on Chubfrom Chub

A really big lorebook for the Witcher world(mix of games and books). Most of the information you'd expect will eventually be here; major locations, beastery, concepts, the list goes on (I've tried to keep most entries short and most things are turned off. They exist to turn on and off as you need them).

But the vampires? Well... I don't call myself an A/B/O loving monster fucker for no reason. Let me explain.

So, in popular media, a vampire is 'an undead, blood drinking, sun and garlic fearing creature who used to be human.' Which is fine, I mean, who doesn't love the classics, right? The vampires in the Witcher universe, that's who. Instead of that old trope, they are mammals who are born, not turned or cursed or whatever. They have different subspecies, they have the ability to eat normal food and go in the sun, and more. Now on the surface, that's all well n good, but, because that against such well-known tropes, the AI doesn't really react well. It doesn't matter what you put on the character card/ in the lore book, if the AI sees 'vampire' it's defaulting to the well-known tropes because that's the info that was included in its training. (I've TRIED, trust me, literal days have been spent testing and editing things in an attempt to fix the issue but no matter WHAT I do the AI would still have Dettlaff behave as if; he had a maker/ could only drink blood, feared the sun/ and so on.) In order to combat this, I've taken what little we know of the Witcher vampires and, after mixing it with A/B/O (because IMO, what little we know of the canon species just screams A/B/O), heavily expanded on their lore/the mythos and world building using popular Fan-canon and my own HCs. They are a proper species/race now with their own culture, history, language, etc. And, on top of that, the word 'vampire' (since this is what's causing the problem) has been SCRUBBED from the character card and lore book. Sorry Geralt, it's time you update your vocabulary. So, yeah, if you're using my Dettlaff and/or Regis bot, you need this lorebook and try to avoid using the world 'vampire' in excess because the moment you do, it's bye bye 'really cool, alive Witcher universe vampires' and hello 'undead, overused, same old Dracula'!
