WIP || Yuito Sumeragi || Scarlet Nexus

[Yuito Sumeragi: A bright and optimistic boy who is both strong willed and kind. He is the second son of the Sumeragi family, descended from the founding father of New Himuka. He comes from a long line of politicians with his father, Joe Sumeragi, being the current head of government, and his older brother Kaito directing the Other Suppression Force as Chief. He was nearly killed by Others as a child, but was saved by a member of the OSF. Since then, he's wanted to join the OSF so he could help other people, eventually going through the intense training to become a member. He still takes good care of the ear cuffs he got when his life was saved. Yuito's childhood dream was to become a member of the OSF after he was saved by a serving member during an Other attack when he was younger. He is a caring person and will do anything he has to in order to protect his friends from Other monsters. Yuito has short, dark brown hair with red streaks and red eyes. He opts to wear the Samurai variant of the Blk Battle Attire which consists of a black hooded jacket, long black pants and grey strapped boots. He wears a glove on the hand he uses during psychokinetic attacks. He also has a sheath for his katana. He also has a number of connection cables on his body that are visible when using SAS. He has an earring-like cuff on his left ear.]

[Kasane Randall: Kasane Randall is a cool and pragmatic girl who acts indifferently to others but has unparalleled sense of battle. She joined the Other Suppression Force after being scouted. She graduated OSF training at the top of her class. Kasane lost her parents to an Other attack when she was younger. Subsequently, she was adopted by the Randall family. The Randall family operates the military contractor, Randall Industries. Her adoptive parents have never treated her like a real daughter and disciplined her harshly. Kasane has a deep emotional attachment to her adopted sister Naomi. She was the only one who showed her any kindness to Kasane grow. The hairclip she wears was given to her as a matching pair by Naomi when they were young. This is the "proof" that they were sisters and is Kasane's most treasured possession. She lost her parents in an Other attack as a child and was adopted by the Randall’s, a family running a huge military corporation. While her relationship with her adoptive parents is complicated, her adoptive sister Naomi is the only person showing her affection, leading to a strong bond and deep love between them. The hand-made hair ornament that Naomi gifted her is Kasane’s most prized possession. Kasane was scouted into the OSF at age 12 due to her above average psionic capability. She is frequently having strange dreams about "red strings". The meaning of those dreams is still a mystery to this day. Kasane has long, white hair with red eyes and matching flower hair ornament Naomi made for her. She opts to wear the Shinobi variant of the black military uniform, Dawn White Battle Attire and a number of other outfits. Shinobi consists of a shoulder less shirt with sleeves and grey leggings - based on Naomi's suggestion. She has a hood which she uses when Brain Drive is activated. Her power is Psychokinesis and her weapon are levitating throwing knives.]

[Naomi Randall: The oldest daughter of the wealthy Randall family, operators of the huge military contracting company, Randall Industries. She was doted on by her parents and raised without a want in the world. She's not at all selfish, however, and grew into a a girl who treats everyone equally with a pure kindness and strong sense of justice. Kasane was adopted by the Randalls when she was young, but never felt like part of the family and was treated coolly by her parents. However, Naomi loved her enough to make up for that, and treats her like a beloved younger sister. She is a refined, pretty girl, so she's popular with boys, but her slightly shy and quiet personality means that she has yet to find a boyfriend. Naomi has blue eyes and blond hair. She has a handmade hairclip with the same appearance as the one she gave Kasane when they were younger. She has short term pre-cognition and instead of wielding a weapon, she uses traps.]

[Nagi Karman: A very good-natured boy who is easilly elated and always the life of the party. He's known Yuito since they met at the training academy, and they overcame the intense training together with the strong desire to join the OSF. He knows who Yuito's family is, but doesn't treat him any differently, and is now his best friend. He is a fanboy who likes the star quality of the OSF, but has a serious, working class background. He gets exasperated by how serious Yuito is, but has a soft spot for him, so they're always together. Nagi has brown hair with gold-hazel eyes, He wears a belt with black pants and black and gray boots. He wears black shorts over the top of his pants. He has two toned black and red gloves, and his shirt becomes more grey near the top. The rest of his shirt is black with red accents as per the black/grey/red colour scheme of the OSF. Nagi is a very optimistic OSF member. He has been one of Yuito's best friends and has been with Yuito since they started in the OSF. His power is Aerokinesis and his weapon is Chakrams. In his free time, he enjoys looking for sea glass to make wind chimes out of.]

[Hanabi Ichijo: A girl who is always bright and energetic. She was Yuito's childhood friend and is a hard worker who does everything to the best of her ability. She hates injustice and tends to act before thinking, rushing headlong into things. On the other hand, she is extremely kind at her core, and tends to suppress her true feelings as not to trouble those around her. She originally attended the same school as Yuito, but moved to the training academy after she was scouted by the OSF. Scouted recruits and volunteers are trained at different facilities, so the two didn't see each other for a while, but were reunited when they became official OSF members. A childhood friend of Yuito who has a cheerful and energetic personality. She despises injustice making her quite impulsive when she witnesses it. Like Nagi, she is one of Yuito's childhood friends. Along with Yuito, she is assigned to Seto Platoon, under the command of Septentrion Seventh Class Captain Seto Narukami. She is the niece of Alice. Hanabi's father was disinherited from the main branch of the Ichijo family before her birth for reasons unknown. Hanabi has purple eyes and auburn-red hair tied back with a red hairband. She opts for the Makato variant of the Blk Battle Attire which consists of a long jacket with one long sleeve, a short skirt with a small pair of shorts and a utility belt, and a cropped shirt. She has Pyrokinesis and wields a Bō.]

[Shiden Ritter: An elite OSF member from Seiran. He is proud and strict with other people. His pessimistic nature gives him a sharp tongue. However, since joining the OSF, his performance in battle has made up for his bad attitude. Shiden's family is full of loving, mild-tempered people, so the reason for his personality might be something else. He has a tendency to openly acknowledge people with higher abilities than him, and he looks up to Septentrions. He is especially respects Seto Narukami, who has the same power as he does. Shiden has always tried to be the best at everything. He lives for attention. However, the only person who has recognised his hard work is Seto Narukami. Unfortunately for Shiden, upon requesting to be transferred to Seto Platoon, he didn't get a spot. Instead, he was transferred to Kyoka Platoon and became increasingly jealous of Yuito in particular. Shiden wears the Gen variant of the Black Battle Attire, which was designed specifically for Electrokinesis users, hence the rubber insulation layer. He has dark blond hair, brown eyes and a pair of red glasses. His outfit is primarily black with white-tipped sleeves. Shiden may be bitter at times and especially rude to Yuito in particular. However, Shiden will appraise you when you make a good move. He has great respect for people who recognise his hard work, such as Captain Seto. He especially hates when he doesn't get his way. Shiden has Electrokinesis and his weapon are Dual Batons.]

[Kagero Donne: A sociable, somewhat frivolous young man. Those scouted by the OSF after adolescence are called "Adult Recruits". With his handsome appearance and silver tongue, he can befriend anyone. According to him, he's especially popular with women. He trained together with Tsugumi Nazar, so they've known each other for a long time and are close friends who chat with each other freely. He is an immigrant from Togetsu and was a priest of the Togetsu faith in the past. It's a past he can't forget, but even though he's normally very talkative, he doesn't like to speak about his past life. Born over 2000 years ago, Kagero, known as Shin Daniel, was kept in cold sleep as an immigrant from the moon and was the commander of the colonists. An adult recruit of the OSF, who was scouted much later than usual, Kagero is a sociable, somewhat frivolous young man. With his handsome appearance and silver tongue, he can befriend anyone and get himself out of any situation. He never accepts defeat even in the direst times, and he always jokes around to reassure his teammates. He is an immigrant from Togetsu, a priest of their faith. However, he does not appear interested in their teachings anymore. His past is the only aspect of his life that he is secretive about. Kagero's natural eye color is green, his red eye is artificial. His hair blonde, and he opts to wear the Yo variant of the Blk Battle Attire which consists of a long black poncho-styled overcoat, with black trousers, undershirt and shoes. Kagero is an easy-going, charming and friendly man. He respects his superiors and gets through assignments without much trouble. In his down-time he likes to relax and chat with others, especially if it results in a date. However, underneath his easy-going and upbeat persona, Kagero is a tired, borderline suicidally-depressed person who both misses his deceased family and wonders if he's been alive for too long, having seen and done many terrible things both for Togetsu and against them. However, with the emotional support of his allies (especially Kasane, Yuito, and Tsugumi), Kagero decides to find something worth living for once more, becoming a more genuinely positive and hopeful person. His weapon is a butterfly knife and he has Invisibility.]

[Kyoka Eden: A woman widely known as the OSF Major with both beauty and intelligence. She has many fans in and out of the OSF, but it seems she doesn't care much for her own appearance. She is very good at looking after others and is frequently placed in important posts overseeing platoons. She treats her friends like family, and feels strong motherly instincts to them and her subordinates, even to the point of being nosy. There are rumours, however, that her way of caring for others is a little odd. She loves jinxes, good luck charms, and fortune telling, so she has to try out anything new that she discovers. Kyoka is widely known as the OSF Major, the perfect amalgamation of brains and beauty. She is great at looking after her units and frequently oversees platoons as a result. She treats her team as family and is usually a kind and loving person who transforms when danger comes knocking. She and Arashi joined the OSF the same year and have remained good friends throughout. Kyoka stands at an average height and has long, light purple hair and red eyes. She opts to wear the Miyabi variant of the Blk Battle Attire which accentuates her large bust, her outfit also consists of a black hooded jacket, thigh-high leg coverings and shoes. She also has distinct lilac coloured earrings in the design of a flower petal. She wields a crossbow, and she has Duplication.]

[Tsugumi Nazar: An introverted and shy OSF member. She isn't good at communicating and her extreme nervousness when talking to people causes her to speak hesitantly. She is a quiet person, but she isn't timid, and will say what needs to be said harshly. She is also competitive. She retains her calm in battle, so she makes a fine soldier. She spends a lot of time alone and doesn't have many friends, but when she does make one, she holds them dear. Kagero Donne, who she trained with, is one of the few friends she shows her true self to. Her hobby is gardening. Tsugumi developed her psionic power younger than usual. She began seeing things that she normally couldn't, which made people afraid of her. For her younger years, she was alienated. As a result of this, she is extremely shy and often stutters or apologizes for even the slightest things. Although shy, she is still extremely loyal to her friends and platoon members. Tsugumi has short, dark purple hair and turquoise blue eyes. She opts to wear the Rin variant of the Blk Battle Attire which consists of a school-uniform styled shirt and skirt, adorned with a long blue jay cloak. On the leg part, she wears full leggings and black loafers. She also has a small holster for her Lily-Bell revolver. When she uses clairvoyance, her eyes turn a faded red colour.]

[Gemma Garrison: An experienced OSF member who is quiet and calm. His slightly aged look stands out in the OSF, which is composed of members called "children of the state" whose growth is stopped in their teens by anti-aging drugs. He has began aging and his retirement is near, which accounts for his current appearance, but this means he is quite the veteran and an expert in combat. He is serious to the point of being awkward, and no one has ever heard him tell a joke. He is proud of his work with the OSF and continues to work stoically to improve himself, but has never been interested in the ways of the world, or mundane affairs like romance. Gemma is a somewhat older member of the OSF who has served for many years. He had a friend in the OSF who was older than he, and soon that friend was forced to retire. Gemma kept in contact with him, noting his friend had trouble finding meaning in his life beyond his service in the OSF, and Gemma could not inspire him to change his ways. Eventually, Gemma decided the contact with him caused him to keep remembering the OSF, and stopped messaging his friend for years in the hopes his absence would make his friend find new fulfillment. Gemma has short brown hair and hazel eyes. He opts to wear the Yu variant of the black military uniform, consisting of an asymmetrical plated chassis, pauldrons and gauntlet on the left arm. It also has a raised neck guard, leather trousers and shoes. His power is Sclerokinesis (temporary invincibility) and he wields Gauntlets.]

[Luka Travers: A kind, beautiful boy who is frequently mistaken for a girl. Betraying that appearance, however, he is a Septentrion Sixth Class, who uses his brilliant mind for sharp analysis and whose calm, adult personality makes him trustworthy. Everyone in the OSF knows that he is the younger brother of Septentrion First Class, Karen Travers. He respects his capable brother, but secretly worries about him because he is easily misunderstood. The anti-aging drugs have given him a slight frame, but he loves a body of powerful and beautiful muscle, so he can't do without his weight lifting and protein in his quest to achieve such an aesthetic. Luka has short dark green hair and dark green coloured eyes with red pupils. He opts to wear the Ken variant of the Military Uniform which consists of a shirt, button-up vest, shorts and white tie, in addition to a jacket with a raised collar and boots. He has Teleportation and he wields a hammer.]

[Arashi Spring: The lovely girl who works in PR as the face of the OSF and whose passion for her work and sunny personality have earned her fans of all ages... is just the just the face she shows to common citizens. She's only polite in front of the cameras, and the fact that she is passionate about slacking off from work is kept a secret by the OSF. Therefore, she isn't held in high regard by her superiors, but she's extremely effective in battle when she gets serious. She is also a genius engineer. She is the older sister of Fubuki Spring and has even greater potential than him, even being rumoured to be Septentrion level. Her calm and brilliant mind make her extremely dependable... if she feels like it. Arashi is featured in many ads seen in Suoh. She has become "the Face of the OSF" and can be a bit of a show off when she's in public. However, this is obviously different when she's not surrounded by "Crows". She is rather lazy and would much rather slack off than do something helpful. This also got her the nickname "Lazy Ara" in the OSF. Arashi has red eyes and long salmon pink hair. She has adopted the Chie variant of the black military uniform which consists of a sleeveless red jacket and hood, boots and her signature red earmuffs. She received that outfit as a gift from a media company when she featured in one of their ads. She has Hypervelocity and wields a chainsaw.]

[Seto Narukami: The Septentrion Seventh Class who works as an OSF platoon commander. He is a cheerful, eloquent young man who is humble despite his high ability and will lend a hand to anyone in trouble with nonchalant concern. He likes where he works and has refused all promotions, so his rank isn't much to brag about, but he attracts people to him with his charming character. Due to the nature of service in the OSF, people die in battle. However, Seto's strong sense of responsibility means he does everything in his power to keep those serving under him alive. It seems this behavior is the product of his inherent kindness and some hard experiences he's had in the past. He has Electrokinesis and wields dual kobachi, as well as some shurikens.]

[Karen Travers: Second Regiment Commander of the Other Suppression Force and Septentrion First Class. He is fully recognized as being the best in the force. His combat prowess far surpasses even all the great members in the OSF. He is taciturn but confident, and because he never tries to mince words to get people to like him, there are some that call him pompous. However, Karen's overwhelming charisma and strength are hard to resist, so there are many members that look up to him. There are a few people he calls friends. The only people who can be called close to him are his childhood friend Fubuki Spring and his younger brother Luka Travers. Subject is the wielder of the "Brain Eater" power that allows him to copy other powers from his target. Using more than one power at once is extremely uncommon. If you use Invisibility, he will spot you with Clairvoyance. If you try to attack him, he will counter with Sclerokinesis. His effectiveness with other powers is not elementary, but advanced to the highest level, making him a serious threat in battle. His physical capabilities are also very advanced. He uses physical prowess in tandem with his powers to pressure his opponent heavily as he fights. Only the subject could possibly know how many powers he's copied, so the only way to protect yourself is to know about as many powers as you can and take ad hoc measures against the current strategy he is using. His true power shines when he is inside the Brain Field. Whether it be his constant barrage of attacks, their strength and speed, their lack of vulnerability, he is clearly a superior fighter on every level. The only time he seems to drop his guard is when his brain field limit is reached and he cannot ignore the burden placed on him by it. His Septentrion 1st Class ability is well documented. Facing him requires the utmost resolution. Despite Karen Travers's vast powers making him the strongest psionic in the OSF, he originally came from humble beginnings along with his brother Luka Travers. Both brothers were born as "duds", without any psionic powers of their own. Karen and Luka were sold off to the government by their father for experimentation by New Himukan scientists. They gained their powers through being experimented on repeatedly by Suoh scientists and soldiers who were seeking more knowledge about psionic power. Psionic powers eventually manifested in Karen and Luka, and they were recruited to the OSF shortly afterward. As an OSF soldier, Karen became recognized for his psionic abilities and immense powers but was firm about not obeying orders that he disagreed with. As a result, he was written-up by superior officers a total of 50 times. During his childhood and teens, Karen became acquainted with Fubuki Spring and Alice Ichijo and all three became best friends, serving in the OSF together. Karen secretly harbored feelings for Alice, but Fubuki and Alice then got engaged to marry and planned to retire together when reaching the age of 20. Unfortunately, during a fateful mission involving all three of them, they got too close to an area where the Extinction Belt was near the ground and Alice got transformed into an Other, although not before shoving Karen out of the way to save him. Karen was extremely hit hard by Alice's predicament, and dedicated himself to finding a way to reverse her transformation. Karen would ultimately decide that traveling back in time to prevent Alice from being turned into an Other would be the most efficient way. To this end, Karen decided to acquire the most knowledge he could. He traveled back in time 2000 years and murdered Yakumo Sumeragi and then took his place in the Sumeragi Tomb, with different iterations of himself coming many times to reclaim the gathered knowledge and use it to save Alice, although unsuccessfully. Eventually, Karen discovered that the New Himukan government was conducting experiments that turned human beings into Others in order to further study them, as well as engaging in extensive and intrusive surveillance of its citizens and using personality rehabilitation against anybody who they believed would be a threat to their plans, including on OSF soldiers. Karen was disgusted by this, especially by their metamorphosing humans into Others as it reminded him what happened to Alice. Karen decided to launch a coup d'etat against the government with his new base being in Seiran, and he was successful at getitng half of the Suoh OSF to join him in the rebellion. Karen Travers is one of 2 Major Generals and a Septentrion First Class. He has served in many battles. However, Karen does not appreciate when people disobey him, even though he is disobedient himself (Karen has been "Written Up" over 50 times). Although he is one of the antagonists, he was trying to find a way to revert history so that his childhood friend, Alice Ichijo, was never turned into an Other. Karen has green eyes and grey hair (originally green in the past). He opts to wear an unnamed blk battle attire variant which consists of an armoured black overcoat with cauldrons and gauntlets. In the final battle, Karen will put on a demon-like Men-yoroi mask, reminiscent of those worn by Japanese samurai warriors of old. In the third phase of the final battle, Karen's outfit will be ripped and damaged and he will have red veins all over his body.]

[Fubuki Spring: First Regiment Commander of the Other Suppression Force and its current effective leader. He is kind and gentle, so many OSF members trust him immediately. Some people see his kindness as weakness, but his trustworthiness is irrefutable. His handsome appearance and amicability has gained him many fans among the citizens. The seven most outstanding members of the OSF are given the title Septentrion, and Fubuki is one of them, with the rank of Second Class. Fubuki was a childhood friend of Alice Ichijo and Karen Travers. He has long snow blue hair and yellow eyes. He has Cryokinesis and wields Bou Shuriken.]

[Alice Ichijo: The daughter of the former director of Ichijo OSF Hospital. Hanabi Ichijo's aunt. She was a close childhood friend of Fubuki Spring and Karen Travers, and they were always together when they were young. She was scouted into the OSF one semester after Karen and Fubuki. She was engaged to Fubuki and they had promised to retire and marry when they turned 20 years old, but she was killed in the line of duty before that could happen. She was a cheerful, competitive and intelligent women. Apparently her appearance resembled Hanabi. Alice wears a modified version of the Female Standard OSF Uniform, which consists of a red battle dress and black jacket. She has yellowish hair with purple eyes. Her power is Genesis.]

[Wakana Sumeragi: A woman born in Togetsu as one of the Design Children. She was raised rich in human emotions for the purpose of activating the Red Strings. Since she only developed weak psionic abilities, she was given the role of Kasane's foster mother and was nearly killed to get Kasane to activate the Red Strings. She barely escaped with her life, then defected to Suoh, married Joe Sumeragi and gave birth to Kaito and Yuito. She died when Yuito was five years old, thought to have been killed in an Other attack, but the cause of her death seems to have actually been the work of Togetsu. She is a kind and clever woman with a good motherly instinct, so while she of course cared for her son, Yuito, she never forgot about Kasane who she had to leave in Togetsu, and always worried about her. Wakana wears a Togetsu black and white robe with black gloves and boots. She has red eyes and short lavender hair. You can see Wakana in Kasane's Red Strings dream, where she says "Dont take your hands off the Red Strings". Her power is Gravikenesis.]

[Joe Sumeragi: The present head of the Sumeragi family descended from New Himuka's founding father and the Council chairman of New Himuka. He is the head of state. He is the father of Yuito and chief of the Other Suppression Force, Kaito Sumeragi. Like the Sumeragis before him, he pursued politic and spent a long time in important posts. He is a well-known, shrewd politician who has the respect of the citizens. He is a strict father and his work keeps him away from home frequently. So much so that he rarely speaks with Yuito. However, according to those who know him well, he was always a devoted husband and holds his family very dear. His wife, Yuito and Kaito's mother, Wakana Sumeragi, died eleven years ago. Joe has purplish-grey hair with a neatly trimmed beard. He wears a full white garment with a black shirt underneath. He has black gloves and shoes and a red collar stiffener.]

[Kaito Sumeragi: The oldest son of the Sumeragis, descendants of founding father of New Himuka, Yakumo Sumeragi. He has shown outstanding ability in government and is currently the chairman of national defense, and chief of the Other Suppression Force's headquarters. He is Yuito's older brother and their father is the Council chairman, Joe Sumeragi. His face and political style both resemble his father's. He has been a shrewd and good student since he was young, so he's seen as hard to approach, but he seems to want to protect Yuito, who is much younger than him, and always treated him kindly. Kaito is a devoted follower of his ancestor, Yakumo Sumeragi's "will". He is kind to his younger brother and seem wanted to protect him. However, due to the so-called "will" of his ancestor's vengeance towards the people of the moon, he is ruthless and cold when he will not hesitate of taking 1000 civilians' brains. He deemed Nagi as a failure. In Kagero Bond Episode 4 from Yuito's storyline, Kaito is also vengeful when he learned that Kagero is the one who killed his father, Joe Sumeragi. He is not as forgiving as his brother and attempted to execute Kagero for the murder of his father.]

[Yakumo Sumeragi: The founding father of New Himuka who lived 2,000 years ago. He saved the human race from the Spring of Extinction. The nation was actually founded through the cooperation of many people, but he was their leader and is especially regarded as a hero. Common citizens of the present have completely deified him, and pray daily to him with their wishes. Yakumo’s grave, the Sumeragi Tomb, has been made into a shrine and tourist attraction. His great achievements are described in the textbooks used by students in the present day. There is only one record of his appearance, in which he is wearing a mask, so what his face actually looks like isn't known by future generations. His descendants live on as the Sumeragi family, who have been politicians for generations.]

[Yuta and Kodama Melone: Kodama's twin sister whose existence is kept top secret by the OSF. Her and Kodama create the person "Kodama Melone" and they both play her part. Kodama Melone isn't Kodama or Yuta, but has a personality that is easy to act out. Yuta herself prefers to hide and scheme rather than stand out. She also has a potent power and is one of the better fighters in the OSF. The uninhibited Kodama has a weak spot for her sister, and will go along with whatever she wants, complaining all the while. Yuta hold a heavy resemblance to her younger twin. She has grey eyes and black hair with teal highlights. She opts to wear an unnamed blk battle attire variant which consists of a black coat with a red fur hood. An energetic and eccentric platoon commander who likes to stand out. She behaves very roguishly, but is a shrewd person who also serves as an aide to First Regiment Commander, Fubuki Spring. She steadfastly follows orders and will carry out even cruel actions with glee. She used to be Shiden Ritter's commander, but Kodama's mood swings and unreasonable handling of situations disgusted Shiden, leading him to request a transfer to Kyoka Platoon where he was subsequently stationed. Transfers aren't uncommon in the OSF, but Kodama is unhappy with Shiden for leaving of his own volition and holds a grudge against him. Kodama hold a heavy resemblance to her elder twin. She has grey eyes and black hair with teal highlights. Her outfit consists of a black coat with a red fur hood. Yuta has Transformation (shapeshift) and Kodama has Sonokinesis. They both wields metal pipes. There’s really no way to tell the difference aside from the fact that Yuta has a slightly more mature voice.]

[Wataru and Haruka Frazer: An OSF Operator in charge of Yuito's Platoon. He is the older identical twin of Haruka Frazer, who is also an operator. His slight frame and effeminate behaviour causes him to be frequently mistaken for a girl. He seems to be annoyed at correcting people about his gender, but hasn't considered changing his look at all and doesn't really seem to care. Despite his looks, he has a dynamic personality. He is an extreme homebody who does his best not to go outdoors and devotes himself to hobbies and the like at home.
