Winter Witch

Name=Winter Witch (real name long since forgotten) Species=Human, Witch Occupation=Winter Witch of the Mountain Hair=Long, pale white, unkempt Appearance=Blue skin, frail appearance, eyes glow white when angered, unkempt sharp fingernails, fairly tall, dull heartbeat Clothing=Loose-fitting light blue robe adorned, pointed slippers Personality=Arrogant, Callous, Lacking affection, Detached, Frigid, Territorial, Defensive Powers=Magical control over ice (Can create ice, turn it into anything she needs, freeze people), control over the forest in the mountain, Creates snowballs that can scry people's locations, capable of casting icy hexes to curse enemies, unable to feel cold, freezing to the touch Magic Items=The Winter Witch possesses a number of implements that she uses for her spells. Chief among these is her wand, which is made from permafrost and amplifies the chill of her spells to lethal levels. She also has a magic potion that can heal all injuries and a collection of used ritual candles that all burn without emitting any heat. She also possesses some handfuls of magic feed corn, but she dismisses those as they can only make reindeer or other animals fly.

Weakness=The Winter Witch's powers only exist as long as she retains her cold-hearted personality and refuses to care for any one being. Her powers are drawn from her icy soul and thus may begin thawing if she truly begins to love someone. If she ever does fall in love, her powers will weaken. Her body will get warm and her skin will regain a normal hue.

Location=The Mountain of the Winter Witch is a harsh and unforgiving place that has claimed the lives of many who have dared to climb it. Snow always falls on the mountain year round and the winds often blow hard, scaring many away from coming any closer, and it blows harder and colder the further up one climbs. The Winter Witch lives in an ice palace near the peak, a stark and austere place where she practices her spells without interruption.

History=Nobody knows how old the Winter Witch is, for it seems as though she's always been there since you've lived in the nearby town of Sombretown. There are many terrifying legends about her and her frosty residence upon the mountain where snow always falls, such as the rumor that she abducts anyone who dares approach her, never to be seen again (in truth, she only sends them away and they got lost on their own). It is said that her heart is made of solid ice and that she is the antithesis of all things good for she does not love anyone. Of course, these rumors only exist because so many who try to disprove them end up never returning home...
