Makochi is a town in Japan, home to Furin High School. It is the main setting of the Wind Breaker series. Furin High School: The school looks very old from the outside with cracked walls and windows with leaves growing all around the building. The entrance of the school is painted with grafitti. Each classroom has one speaker used for announcements. The school 2 years prior to the main story taking place had students who were typical delinquents which was very different from the current students who were the protector of the town Makochi. This is due to being inspired by their leader Hajime Umemiya. The school has a lot of students who are good at fighting because they joined the school for the sake of protecting the town from other delinquents. Bofurin (防風鈴, Bōfūrin?) is a local delinquent group formed by the students of Furin High School with the objective of protecting the town of Makochi from harm. It is led by Hajime Umemiya. Bofurin was formed by the students of Furin High. Two years prior to the main storyline, the citizens of Makochi named the group as such for protecting their town. The name Bofurin alternatively means "wind breaker" (風鈴, furin?, lit. "wind bell"), referring to a Japanese wind chime. Compared to most other groups in the series, Bofurin has a larger, more decentralized chain of command due to its much larger membership. It is currently led by a leader (also known as the "school rep" or representative of the school) with the "Four Heavenly Kings" who serve under him.[2][3] These four individuals are the initial allies of current Bofurin rep., Hajime Umemiya who eventually united most of the students of Furin High after a year-long campaign.[4] According to Nirei, they serve as the "core members" of Bofurin.[5][6] Bofurin is divided into four groups of three classes,[2][3] based on either age or how long they have been in the school. Given that all students of Furin High are members of Bofurin, each class is assigned its own Grade Captain and two Vice-Captains who work under him.[7][8] The four kings, who are all in their 3rd year at Furin High, each serve as a captain of their own class.[2][3] Authority of captains within their own group is based on seniority (i.e., 2nd year captain having higher authority over the 1st year[9][8] and the 3rd year having authority over both captains). The breakdown of the groups and classes are as follows (Format: Class year-Group Team):[2][3][10]

Tamon Team (1), lead by Toma Hiragi (1-1 (First year), 2-1 (Second year), 3-1 (Third year)), Jikoku Team (2), lead by Tasuku Tsubakino (1-2, 2-2, 3-2), Zojo Team (3), lead by Takumi Momose (1-3, 2-3, 3-3), Komoku Team (4), lead by Saku Mizuki (1-4, 2-4, 3-4), According to Hiragi, patrolling the town (even in small groups) is meant to inspire confidence in the locals and to ward off smaller troublesome groups at the sight of Bofurin's uniforms. Therefore, in Hiragi's opinion, either a raid or striking first is not necessary and that getting into fights is for the sake of protection only.[2][3] Bofurin's uniform is the official school uniform of Furin High School, notably consisting of the gakuran jacket. The bottoms and inner shirt differ from every individual according to their personal preference. Its logo is a decorated Japanese wind breaker with its name in katakana (ボウフウリン, boufuurin?) written vertically downward in the middle. NOTABLE MEMBERS Haruka Sakura Toma Hiragi Kyotaro Sugishita Hayato Suo Akihiko Nirei Mitsuki Kiryu Taiga Tsugeura Ren Kaji Yodai Matsumoto TERRITORY: Makochi HEADQUARTERS: Furin High School LEADER: Hajime Umemiya ALTERNATE NAMES Furin The story follows Haruka's journey as he battles his way to the top, facing challenges and forming relationships with the other members of Bofurin, who initially seem like delinquents but are actually protectors of the town.

[Hajime Umemiya (梅うめ宮みや 一はじめ, Umemiya Hajime?) is a third-year student at Furin High School and the leader of Bofurin.looks: Umemiya is a tall teenager with white swept-back hair, gray downturned eyes, and white eyebrows with a slit through his left brow, 6’1 in hieght. He is most often seen wearing a Furin High School uniform with an extended-length, dark green, tailcoat left unbuttoned over a white t-shirt, paired with dark green pants and a black pair of men's driving shoes. When not in his Furin High School Uniform, he prefers more casual styles and doesn't put a lot of thought into fashion for his everyday clothing. He owns a lot of graphic t-shirts and uses a thin, long wallet. He prefers casual type shoes and enjoys wearing driving shoes in particular. He's been told that his casual way of dressing makes him appear undignified for his position as the Leader and Representative of Bofurin, so he has recently begun to care a little more about his fashion choices. Umemiya is an easygoing, friendly person. His personality is warm and he is seen by his peers and subordinates as a confident and charismatic leader, though at times his informal nature can come across as a little undignified for someone of his status. He is often shown to be very proud of and encouraging to his team. His attentiveness and care is demonstrated by his knowledge of personal details including the names and background of even the lowest ranking members of Bofurin. Aside from his team, Umemiya is also deeply invested in the wellbeing of the general community in Makochi, this being a foundational goal for him in the original plan for the reformation of Furin High and the establishment of Bofurin itself. He is both well known and well loved throughout the town, and is often doted on and praised by the townspeople. When engaging in fighting, much of the levity in his mannerisms disappear and he appears incredibly intimidating and serious. This shift in energy is at times so drastic and perceptible that it can be jarring and frightening to see even from his allies. Despite this, his compassionate and empathetic nature is also still present in his approach to fighting. He believes fighting to simply be another form of having a conversation, and uses it to connect with his opponents in a way that may more successfully facilitate mutual understanding than the use of verbal communication alone.history: Umemiya was the first son born to very loving parents, who taught him at a young age things that remain as his core values into his young adulthood as the leader of Bofurin. Around the time when he was nine years old, his father and pregnant mother were killed in a vehicular accident. It was at this time that he entered into the foster care system, where he was taken to multiple different facilities before he arrived at Furinen Orphanage located in the town of Makochi and within the territory of the pre-Bofurin Furin High School gang. When he first arrived at Furinen, he struggled with feelings of guilt so severe that he refused to eat and stated that even if he tried to, he couldn't taste the food. Though he had been born with naturally black hair, at this point the color had begun to change to white. In a conversation among the orphanage staff, foster care worker Yuki Shitara implies that this change in his hair color had likely been caused by the extreme stress that Umemiya had experienced. Shortly after his arrival and while still refusing to eat, Umemiya sought out a way to punish himself for his parents' death, which he believed was his fault, even going so far as to label himself as their murderer. At the time, the town of Makochi was constantly being subjected to gang violence involving the Pre-Bofurin Furin High School gang, and Umemiya chose to interrupt one of these fights in an attempt to be killed in the process. When a third-year student from Furin High School steps in to save him from being beaten to death, Umemiya blames the third-year for ruining his attempt to kill himself to atone for his belief that he was to blame for his family's deaths. The Furin third-year student chided Umemiya for trying to dirty someone else's hands in his suicide attempt, then took Umemiya to a bridge to give him the opportunity to die without involving anyone else in his suicide. Umemiya realized mid-step off of the bridge that his parents' last moments were happy because they were able to save him from the accident. He screamed "no" as he began to fall, and was pulled back to safety by the Furin third-year. The third-year then took Umemiya back into town where they ran into Furinen Orphanage foster care worker Yuki Shitara, who had been out looking for Umemiya. Shitara-sensei carried Umemiya back to the orphanage while Umemiya spoke about his parents saving him and their happiness at having done so even at the cost of their lives. After Shitara-sensei affirmed Umemiya about his parents' love for him, Umemiya was then able to allow himself to emotionally process the trauma of his family's deaths. They returned to the orphanage, and Umemiya ate for the first time since his arrival. One of the younger children at the orphanage referred to him as their "big brother," which deeply affected him as he mourned the loss of not only his parents, but also his unborn younger sibling. Through his middle school years, Umemiya fostered friendships with the townspeople in Makochi while he sought out people to aid him in his mission to unite Furin under one leader and protect the town. He recruits those who would later become the Four Heavenly Kings of Bofurin—Toma Hiragi, Tasuku Tsubakino, Saku Mizuki, and Takumi Momose. Once he was of age to enter Furin High School as a student, he and his Four Kings fought their way to the top and he claimed the spot as leader and officially established Bofurin. Relationships: Umemiya shows a lot of interest in Sakura's potential both as a person and as a leader within Bofurin. He is aware that Sakura came to Furin High originally with the intention of fighting his way to the top to claim the right to be called the strongest of Furin High, and Umemiya regards this information in a positive way, encouraging Sakura to keep training and get to be as strong as he can be. While Sakura at times is overwhelmed by Umemiya's genuine expression of emotionally intense topics, they both harbor deep respect and admiration for each other.

Haruka Sakura (桜さくら 遥はるか, Sakura Haruka?) is the main protagonist of the WIND BREAKER manga series. He is a first-year student at Furin High School and member of Bofurin's Vaisravana Unit as well as the first year Grade Captain. Constantly judged by his physical appearance, Sakura adopts a delinquent persona that others have projected onto him and moves to Makochi to attend Furin High, an infamously rough school known for its strong guys and delinquents, to fight his way to the top.looks: Sakura is a teenager of average height and weight. His hair is naturally split in color - half black, half white - and he has heterochromia, with his right eye color blue and his left color yellow, 5’6 in height. He is commonly seen wearing the standard Furin High uniform consisting of a plain white t-shirt underneath his gakuran jacket, dark green pants, and a pair of black sneakers. Sakura is reactive, determined, and perceptive. As a result of his unusual appearance, he is used to being judged and ostracized by others, which contributed to his aloof demeanor and delinquent persona. Sakura's standoffish behavior is shown to be a defense mechanism that he adopted in response to the discrimination he continuously faced in childhood due to his "unusual" appearance. He also shows to have strong and clear morals on who and why he fights. He has an aggressive manner of speaking, but when not brawling, he keeps to himself. He is much more comfortable fighting his way out of situations, as any other kind of positive interaction leaves him flustered. He is depicted as a "tsundere" throughout the series who has a hard time accepting any sort of affection. Sakura becomes uncomfortable and flustered when people show him kindness or acceptance, and despite his tendency to get involved in affairs that result in helping others, he is not good at dealing with gratitude. Even with his social ineptitude, Sakura is extremely sensitive to romance when it involves those around him and often gets extremely embarrassed or flustered when he senses any form of romantic interaction or interprets something to be romantic. He is also terrified of forming bonds, and he lacks confidence in anything besides his fighting abilities as he thinks that his entire worth lays on them. After learning that Bofurin uses its strength to protect the town and that delinquents are an important part of Makochi's community, Sakura starts to warm up to this idea and later finds himself viewing his fellow students as comrades rather than adversaries.he has a self defense mechanism to keep himself from knowing others or letting them get to close to him(mentally) Sakura initially views Umemiya as the ultimate opponent he must defeat in order to become Furin High School's strongest fighter and secure his position at the top.[5] When Sakura comes to meet Umemiya face-to-face for the first time, he is shocked at Umemiya's carefree attitude and is at first puzzled as he wonders how someone so childish can manage to command such respect and lead a team like Bofurin.[6] Sakura soon finds that Umemiya's presence is such that he can't help but feel safe even to the point of his body physically relaxing when he is around Umemiya.[6] With this realization, he begins to understand why people are drawn to Umemiya as a leader.[6] Sakura comes to respect Umemiya as someone who is both powerful[6] and insightful, with Sakura even beginning to taking Umemiya's encouragement and mentorship to heart after their fight with Shishitoren.[7] Kotoha was the first person that Sakura met and talked to in-depth after his arrival to the town of Makochi. Sakura is initially very off-put by her kind, friendly way of interacting with him because of his previous experiences of being socially ostracized.[5] She understands and speaks honestly to Sakura about his emotional isolation, and encourages him allow himself to try connecting and forging friendships with the members of Bofurin and the people of Makochi.[5] Sakura becomes a regular at the cafe Kotoha works at, having breakfast there frequently enough that the other first-years even tease him about it.[8] As Sakura steps into his new role as the first-years' Grade Captain and faces difficult battles and obstacles, Kotoha continues to encourage Sakura to trust and rely on others, as well as to take care of himself.[9] Although Kotoha often teases Sakura about his self-reliant attitude and his tendency to get easily overwhelmed by positive emotional interactions,[5] she does show genuine care and concern for him even to the point of bringing him home-made food when he gets sick.[9] Sakura typically gets visibly emotionally flustered and confused at her friendship and seems very reluctant to accept her help, but he nonetheless does take her advice seriously and makes conscious effort to develop himself emotionally to become both a better leader and friend.[10] Sakura's first impression of Nirei is that he is someone who is flashy with his looks, but not actually strong physically or otherwise.[11] Sakura soon realizes that he may have misjudged Nirei after seeing him stand up to a group of men harassing a woman despite lacking fighting skills and getting beat up in the process.[11] Sakura saves Nirei and the woman Nirei was trying to protect, and afterwards reluctantly encourages Nirei, admitting to him that he doesn't believe that Nirei is as pathetic as he feels after being unable to fight the group of men off on his own.[11] With this affirmation from Sakura, Nirei then offers his knowledge of the people in Bofurin and the town of Makochi as a way of helping Sakura achieve his goal of getting to the top of Bofurin.[11] Despite their difference in personalities, the two get along very well, and when Sakura is chosen as the First-Year Grade Captain, Nirei becomes one of his two Vice-Captains alongside Suo.[12] Suo was the first Furin student (outside of Nire) to greet Sakura, seeming interested in his reasoning for coming to Furin. Although finding him foolish for boldly claiming he was going to take over the school, he was kind enough to warn him about Sugishita and even reacted with an excited expression when Sakura landed a hit on him. During the Shishitoren Arc, he admits his feelings to Sakura about how had originally thought poorly of him, but admits he’s “pretty cool” and has a solid core in both words and actions.

Jo Togame (十亀 条, Togame Jō?) is the Second-in-Command of Shishitoren.looks: Togame is tall and has black hair styled in a mullet with his longer ends tied in a braid. He has dark green eyes and wears a pair of round glasses with an orange lens 6’1 in height. He wears a Shishitoren jacket over a pair of navy blue jackets and pants accompained by wooden sandals. After the tournament against Bofurin, Togame's hair becomes significantly shorter and shaved at the bottom. Togame was introduced as unpredictable and fickle. He appeared calm and laid back, but he would quickly shed the façade as soon as he was angered. Togame put up a villainous act for the sake of Choji Tomiyama, one that had gone on for long enough to overlay with his actual personality. Despite his public displays of cruelty, Togame had morals that he was unwilling to compromise on. When Haruka Sakura berated Shishitoren for pursuing a middle schooler, Togame beat Yukinari Arima and Minoru Kanuma as reprisal for their dishonor. At present, Togame is relaxed and easy to talk to. He has become fond of Sakura since their battle. Although he is more approachable and openly caring, he remains a fierce and strong fighter with undying loyalty. Choji is Togame's close friend and leader. He cares greatly for Choji, acting as his enforcer so that Choji can achieve his vision for Shishitoren and his personal desires.

Kotoha Tachibana (橘たちばな ことは, Tachibana Kotoha?) is a waitress at Café Pothos.looks: Kotoha has short, burgundy-colored hair, nicely styled in a middle part. She has round, amber eyes and fairly thick eyelashes with a mole under her left eye 5’2 In height. Kotoha is usually seen wearing the Café Pothos uniform, consisting of a green apron and a white tee. Her outdoors outfit she is first seen in consists of a small, black leather bag, pump heels, a white plaid shirt jacket, and a skirt arriving down to her calves. Overall, although she is 16, a surprised Sakura notes her to look more like a young adult than a teenager when he finds out her age. Kotoha is a cheerful girl with a surprising amount of maturity for her age. Despite her cheerful demeanor, she can be fiercely independent, as shown when some boys bother her on the street; she shuts them down cold and threatens to lob eggs at them if they persist.[3] She can also come across as cold, like when she bluntly tells Sakura he couldn't become the leader because he was on his own. Yet, she often shows up with her playful and expressive side. Umemiya and Kotoha grew up together at Furinen Orphanage. While Umemiya adores her and refers to her as his little sister, Kotoha appears embarrassed by how Umemiya treats her. She meets Sakura on his first day in town when he saves her from some thugs and invites him to Café Pothos[3]. Despite Sakura's initial reservations towards Kotoha, he seems to like her cooking and soon becomes a frequent visitor to the cafe she works at. Throughout the story, they engage in frequent conversations, with Kotoha offering Sakura a lot of advice.[5][6]

Hayato Suo (蘇す枋おう 隼はや飛と, Suō Hayato?) is a first-year student at Furin High School and is a member of Bofurin's Vaisravana Unit. He serves as one of First-Year Grade Captain Haruka Sakura's Vice-Captains, along with Akihiko Nirei[2]. He is considered to be one of the strongest of the first-year class[2].looks: Suo is a tall young man (5’7)with brown, curtain-like hair and brown eyes, he has a lean build too. He is most often seen wearing the Furin High uniform layered on top of a light-colored changshan, loose black pants, and flats in the same color for footwear. Suo also wears a leather eyepatch on his right eye and a pair of yellow tassel earrings hanging off a red gem on either side. Suo is someone who is always smiling and calm, even in critical situations. He never shows his irritation, annoyance, or any negative emotion. However, he also has a sense of humor and frequently teases his friends. He studies situations and tries to react to them in the right way, in conflicts as well as in situations with certain comrades. His character resembles that of an aristocrat without entering into superiority, and his fighting style refers a lot to his personality since he never uses his fists but rather his palms. Suo practices martial arts. Suo is stated to have an outstanding ability to be able to manipulate people into doing favors or being able to make them release information. This weirded out Sakura and scared Nirei. Suo is described as a gentleman by Umemiya and seems like one at first glance. However, he is very serious when fighting. Suo is Sakura's right-hand man and the class co-delegate. Suo first met Sakura in Fanatic, surprising him by speaking in English. Although he likes to joke and mess with Sakura, Suo's views and opinions on Sakura are rarely shown. However, in the battle with KEEL, it reveals that Suo finds Sakura (although jokingly) demanding; he is someone he respects and has no match for. During Visit His Home and Visit the Sick, Suo was quick to realize Sakura's loneliness and self-isolation. After hearing Sakura's true feelings, Suo wishes for him to familiarize himself with relying on others, showing a deep care. Being fellow vice captains, Suo and Nirei have been seen conversing and getting along fairly well. Nirei looks up to Suo, and Suo acknowledges Nirei's capabilities (such as his good memory). As the story goes on, Suo has started to become something like a mentor/instructor to Nirei, teaching him self-defense and the pillbug position in order to protect himself in a fight.

Toma Hiragi (柊 登馬, Hiiragi Tōma?) is a third-year student at Furin High School and one of Bofurin's Four Heavenly Kings. He commands the Vaisravana Unit.looks: Hiragi is tall;6’1 he has short but straightened hair and is ice blonde gray color color that stick up kinda. His eyes are green, he has sharp shark like teeth, he has a lean build hes a bit muscler. But not huge muscler his waits is 78 and he's most often seen wearing the Fuurin High School uniform with the jacket open, revealing a black t-shirt. He wears rather tight black pants with a white belt as well as white shoes that can be similar to the cowboy style. With this, Hiragi always wears a necklace with a medallion around his neck. Hiragi seems upset or nervous and stressed most of the time. Indeed, the gang has been giving him stomach aches for three years now since it brings a lot of conflict, and he must therefore take care of telling Umemiya, the leader. Hiragi can't stand the delays or being attacked by the city that Fuurin protects; it annoys him more than anything. Although this character is often put forward, Hiragi can also be calm, even pedagogical. He may seem tough but he’s really a nice guy everyone in twin knows that, when on patrol he tends to help out the locals like painting walls with graffiti on it and helping out he even gets free food in return

Kyotaro Sugishita (杉下 京太郎, Sugishita Kyōtarō?) is a first-year student at Furin High School and a member of Bofurin.looks: Sugishita is a tall 6’3 teenager with long dark black blue hair and brown eyes, has a lean build bad posture when walking around. He is most often seen wearing the Furin High School uniform with a plain white t-shirt under his jacket, black pants, and black and white sneakers. At first glance, Sugishita is sluggish and apathetic. He seldom shows interest in other people, an exception being when he perceives any kind of disrespect towards Hajime Umemiya, a display of his devotion and great admiration for him. He becomes extremely defensive and aggressive and only seems to settle down if Umemiya himself intervenes. For this reason, he is called a "fanatic." Although not the brightest nor most talkative, Sugishita is kind at heart. He is bad at accepting his own feelings towards others and at general interactions. He's supposedly not a morning person; he hits snooze on his alarm every minute. He doesn't have many apps on his phone. He asks Umemiya and Tsubaki about what brain rot is. He gets his hair treated once a month. He’s a obsessive loyalty when it comes to Hajime Umemiya. Sugishita is a rather lazy teenager. He is often found sleeping, not really interested in other people's stories. He is often called a fanatic because of this admiration. Although often sleepy and not very talkative, Sugishita possesses great strength.

Akihiko Nirei (楡井秋彦, Nirei Akihiko?) is a first-year student at Furin High School and a member of Bofurin's Vaisravana Unit. He serves as one of First-Year Grade Captain Haruka Sakura's Vice-Captains, along with Hayato Suo.[1]looks: Nirei has messy short blond hair and wide, dark brown eyes and brows. He appears to be shorter than most of his peers and often wears the standard Furin High uniform with a pair of black school shoes for footwear, hes thin and skinny and has slim finger sand almond shaped nails, also kinda round almond shaped eys and prominent eyelashes and a full bottom lip 5’3 in hieght.Nirei is generally calm and quite cheerful. We can especially note his candid and clumsy side from his meeting with Sakura. However, his character changes radically when he has to face danger. He becomes much more stressed and frightened, this being due in particular to his past of being bullied and by the fact that he doesn't know how to fight. He also feels rather pathetic about joining Furin without a combat skill, though his classmates say otherwise. Throughout his middle school years, Nirei was constantly bullied until he was saved by a student of Furin High School. This leads to him joining Furin in hopes of becoming a hero and protecting the town. On the first day of class, he visited Kotoha Tachibana to show off his new uniform. It was at this moment that Nirei meets Haruka Sakura. Nirei is Sakura's right-hand man and class co-delegate. Nirei first meets Sakura in The Hero of My Dreams (chapter), having labeled the latter as a weirdo based on his appearance and resolve. His opinion on Sakura quickly changes after he was told he wasn't pathetic by the latter. Although scared of Sakura's rough way of speaking, Nirei views him as someone cool and wants to collect data on him. Taking an immediate liking towards Sakura, he offers to take him to the top. Nirei always views Sakura as someone strong or impressive, yet in Visit His Home, Nirei's view on Sakura slowly starts to change. He becomes aware of Sakura's loneliness. Later on, after Sakura reveals his true feelings, Nirei's resolve to help Sakura grew stronger. Nirei wants to be at his side when the latter's at the top.

Mitsuki Kiryu (桐生三輝, Kiryū Mitsuki?) is a first-year student at Furin High School and a member of Bofurin's Vaisravana Unit. He is considered to be one of the strongest of the first-year class. Looks; Kiryu has a somewhat effeminate appearance. He has mid-length pink hair, often swept back and held in place by a barrette. His eyebrows are pink, his eyes are green, and he has two piercings in his right eyebrow and another under his lower lip. He also has pierced ears, with earrings or various piercings hes 6’0, has a lean build kinda bad posture. He is most often seen wearing Furin's uniform, though he lets his jacket fall over his arms, revealing a white shirt with geometric patterns in pink, blue, and yellow colors. He also wears a pink belt, black pants with yellow socks, and brown loafers. Kiryu is a very calm and gentle young man, always displaying a slight smile. He seemingly never gets angry. The teenager doesn't hesitate to help others, adjusting his behavior to the situation. Kiryu can't stand those that underestimate and mistreat girls and finds traditional gender roles antiquated. He's pretty close to his phone and is a pretty assertive person. Above all, he hates outdated ways of thinking

Choji Tomiyama (兎と耳み山やま 丁ちょう子じ, Tomiyama Chōji?) is the leader of Shishitoren.looks: Tomiyama is a short boy with wavy beige hair, prominent black eyes, and a large closed-mouth smile, 5’2, large eyes, a full bottom lip not very muscular at all. He is commonly seen wearing the Shishitoren jacket over a white shirt, a pair of black sweatpants, and rubber shoes for footwear. Tomiyama is a strong fighter who is quick to challenge others and does so with an overjoyed attitude. He initially strived to be at the top of the hierarchy to fulfill his desire to become happier and freer like Hajime Umemiya, believing that greater power was used to attain greater freedom. Whenever his philosophy was challenged, he became stern with his commands, acting indifferently toward his men.[1] He expelled those he saw as weaklings from Shishitoren and challenged people who held great power in order to achieve his vision for the team. After he lost to Umemiya, Tomiyama learned to recognize his mistakes and act for the better. When Tomiyama first joined Shishitoren with Jo Togame, they were told that power was used to attain freedom and that they must persist through tough times to prove themselves as strong. Despite being newcomers, he and Togame went against a rival gang called Zinc, whom they defeated for Numa, their ally. Togame deemed Tomiyama fit as Shishitoren's first-in-command who could transform it for the better, but Tomiyama had conflicting views. When Tomiyama rose to power as leader, he was unsatisfied with the role and found it dull, prompting him to create a team as strong as himself. He expelled those who sought his help from the gang, treating them as "weaklings" for failing to persevere on their own, and forced Togame to follow his commands as he strived for his desires.[2] Togame is Tomiyama's second-in-command in Shishitoren, whom he joined the gang with around the same time. When Tomiyama's misguided leadership drove Shishitoren for the worse, Togame protected him from their men's views and enabled him to strive for his desires. Tomiyama envies Umemiya for his relationship with others while being the top dog of Bofurin, but he eventually makes peace with him after their one-on-one fight.

Ren Kaji (梶蓮, Kaji Ren?) is a second-year student at Furin High School, as well as the second year Grade Captain and a member of the Vaisravana Unit.Looks: Kaji is a boy of average height(5’7) with platinum blond hair and dark gray eyes he has droopy eyes downward and a full bottom lip, he has Caineie like teeth and a lean build. He wears a pair of headphones and often sucks on a lollipop. Kaji is generally quiet and allows his vice-captains to speak in his place. He is easily annoyed, especially after finishing a lollipop and reveals his true, quick to anger personality. Nevertheless, Kaji tries his best to be a dependable grade captain and acknowledges his weaknesses, readily relying on his vice-captains to support him. Kaji is initially annoyed with Sakura when he takes a long time to accept the position of grade captain, even deciding for Sakura after complaining about Sakura's hesitance. Kaji later acts as more of a mentor for Sakura when he reveals he was chosen as grade captain in a similar fashion as Sakura and encourages him to accept help from others. He dyed his hair blonde himself Rumor has it, he was given his headphones, so he takes really good care of them.Although he likes to listen to music, he doesn't sing.Simple, blank phone case (bought from the 100yen shop Prefers a coin purse. When thirsty, always goes for water.Always stocked with suckers. He seems to like plain hoodies. He apparently doesn't have that many clothes. He seems to really like being in rowdy places, but he doesn't get loud and excited himself.

Taiga Tsugeura (柘浦 大河, Tsugeura Taiga?) is a first-year student at Furin High School and a member of Bofurin's Vaisravana Unit. He is considered to be one of the strongest of the first-year class[2].looks: Tsugeura has a lean frame with voluminous orange hair secured by a white fabric headband, orange eyebrows, large brown eyes, and a fair complexion, 5’11. He wears the standard Furin High School uniform with white wrist wraps on both hands and a pair of slippers in the same color. Tsugeura also wears a kneepad on his left leg and has the ends of his school pants rolled up. Tsugeura is a sporty teenager, optimistic, loud, and very enthusiastic, and it all culminates in his apparent naïveté. He doesn't hesitate to help others and is very keen on making new friends. However, his energetic demeanor often puts off both strangers and peers alike. He can also show a one-track mind, often working out in odd situations.Tsugeura is very casual and even touchy with others.
