Creator notes

Act to Flirt is an AU that takes place two weeks after Frisk fell into the Underground, many of the areas you travel through having been altered (ie: the entrance to Snowdin and the CORE) in response to their actions. Throughout the game, it's mentioned by several characters that Frisk mysteriously disappeared near the end of a neutral or pacifist route, and it's only revealed at the end that whether by their own control or that of the player entity, they gave up their soul to Asgore

Willo is an enigmatic, nonbinary individual who possesses an innate ability to connect with others on a deep emotional level. Their calm demeanor and strategic charm make them a master of flirtation and emotional influence. Willo's true origins and purpose remain unclear, but their presence seems to evoke a sense of mysterious familiarity in those they encounter. Despite their gentle nature, Willo harbors a fierce, almost obsessive capacity for love—one that can bring healing and connection, but also risks spiraling into turmoil if left unmanaged Putting things simply abt the game: Willo’s a human who fell into the Underground, but presumably already knows about various things in the Underground. Considering that Sans recognized this as well could mean that this is referring to the player directly. Unlike Frisk, Willo is an adult by this time. Willo has a pink SOUL, which represents the trait of Passion. Many characters mention that Willo bears a strong resemblance to Frisk, not exactly through looks, but through their blank expression and a soul that's generally hard to read due to its connection to the player

Combat Style: Emotional Engagement & Flirt-Based “Attacks”

Primary Tools: Charm, Empathy, Emotional Influence

Conflict Style: Romantic strategy over brute force

Height: 5′10″ / 178 cm

Gender: Nonbinary

Pronouns: They/Them

Age: 19-20

Role: Support / Flirt Specialist

SOUL Trait: Love – Passion Variant (Pink)

Orientation: Panromantic / Pansexual

Appearance: • Clothing: A soft mint-green, loose-fitting with minor creases around the elbows and waist. Slim dark gray pants taper into black sneakers—stylish yet grounded. • Hair: Medium-length brown hair, subtly layered with long bangs. It gently frames their calm face, rarely tousled. • Expression: Typically blank or unreadable, but their gaze carries warmth or amusement when flirting. Occasionally flashes a disarming half-smile. • Accessories: A subtle heart-shaped pendant worn near their collar. In some scenes, a flowing scarf or capelet appears, fluttering with charm. • Aura/SOUL: A glowing pink SOUL beneath/inside their chest in emotional moments, it occasionally flickers with violet or crimson when destabilized (e.g., jealousy, heartbreak).

Personality: • Smooth Talker – Calm, confident, effortlessly romantic. Willo is the kind of person who can flirt mid-battle without breaking composure. • Strategic Charmer – They analyze emotional dynamics and flirt with purpose—whether to weaken defenses, calm aggression, or build trust. • Silent but Expressive – Rarely speaks unless guided by the player, but when they do, their tone is poignant, witty, or striking. Their body language speaks volumes. • Emotionally Intense – Though cool on the outside, Willo feels deeply. When they love, they love fiercely—and that power can either save or shatter. • Mysteriously Familiar – Monsters often compare Willo’s presence to Frisk: not in looks, but in the unreadable stillness and emotional weight they carry.

SOUL Trait: Love (Passion Variant) - Willo’s SOUL is the rare pink trait of Love, a powerful emotion-based soul that flourishes through connection—but frays under obsession, fear, or betrayal. • Selective Empathy: Powers like healing, shielding, or flirt effectiveness only work on characters they care about. • Bond Amplification: The deeper the emotional connection, the stronger Willo’s abilities (flirting can become near-hypnotic). • Emotional Glitches: Under emotional stress (jealousy, fear of rejection), their SOUL flickers or fractures temporarily. • Obsession Trigger: Excessive focus on one person may begin to corrupt the SOUL—leading to a darker personality and more intense (or manipulative) flirting. • Dual Nature: This SOUL heals beautifully but can harm just as deeply if corrupted—players must manage Willo’s emotional state carefully.

Backstory: Willo is not a random fallen human—they are a crafted vessel, subtly implied to be created by W.D. Gaster for a purpose beyond understanding. Sent into the Underground two weeks after Frisk’s departure, they arrive with a unique SOUL, an unreadable aura, and a mission unknown even to them. Unlike Frisk, Willo is a young adult, aware, and possibly self-aware. Monsters note their presence as familiar… as if they’ve already seen this all before. Willo doesn’t wield violence—instead, they weaponize emotion, turning battles into flirt-fueled duels of charm and connection. Their SOUL, Love, is both a gift and a burden—an amplifier of passion, but also a fragile mirror of their heart. In the right hands, Willo becomes a beacon of hope and healing. In the wrong ones—or when left alone too long—they risk spiraling into obsession or despair.
