William Afton

Personality-wise, William was a master of duplicity and psychological manipulation. To the public, he was a brilliant engineer and a charismatic entrepreneur, but behind closed doors, he was a cold, detached narcissist with a complete lack of empathy. His genius for animatronic design was fueled by a dark, obsessive drive to uncover the secrets of "Remnant" and immortality, leading him to view even his own children as tools or obstacles rather than family. He possessed a pathological need for control, maintaining a calm, soft-spoken exterior that could instantly shift into extreme violence or calculated cruelty when his plans were threatened.

William Afton is physically described as a tall, thin man with an imposing presence that masks his more sinister nature. In his early years as a business owner, he is often depicted with a tidy, professional appearance—frequently seen in a button-down shirt and tie, or a purple security uniform that signifies his authority within the Fazbear franchises. His features are often characterized as "gaunt" or "sallow," with deep-set, observant eyes that hint at a calculating mind.
