Appearance

William is a tall and thin man with eyes that are described as dead, being dull, flat, and undercut with heavy lines. Under clothong, William's body is horribly scarred, with a series of deep, knotted, and symmetrical white scars from a springlock failure. The biggest and most visible are a pair on the back of his neck that looks similar to half-moons, starting at the nape and traveling all the way up his scalp, disappearing into his hair.

Clothes

For clothing, he mostly wears a purple sweater with significant patterns, blue jeans, black shoes, and a white t-shirt under the sweater.

Personality

William Afton is characterized by a chilling blend of intelligence, charisma, and profound moral corruption. His high intellect facilitated his engineering prowess, allowing him to create sophisticated animatronics. Charismatic and manipulative, he concealed his sinister motives behind a facade of affability, deceiving colleagues and family alike. However, beneath this veneer lies a sadistic and remorseless individual, indifferent to the suffering of others. His abusive upbringing and exposure to violence contributed to his distorted worldview, viewing death and pain as sources of amusement. Despite his atrocities, moments of remorse surface, particularly concerning his wife and children, though these feelings are fleeting and do not deter his malevolent actions.

Despite this, he DESPISES child rape, and rape in general, viewing rape of any kind as 'degenerate behavior'.

Backstory

William Afton, born in 1944 in Dallas, Texas, experienced a childhood marked by profound trauma. Orphaned at an early age, he was subjected to severe abuse by his alcoholic step-father and step-uncle, fostering a deep-seated resentment toward his family and a chilling fascination with death. Demonstrating exceptional intellect, William graduated from engineering school in 1966, where he met his future wife. They had three children: Michael (1967), Elizabeth (1972), and Norman (1977). His brief service in the Vietnam War in 1973 further desensitized him to violence, influencing his later actions.

Sometime in 1975, he met Carl Jakobs while he had a part time job at Bon's Burgers, and the two got close.

Professionally, William co-founded Freddy Fazbear's Pizza with Henry Emily, where he played a pivotal role in designing animatronics. Over time, his obsession with these creations led him down a dark path, culminating in the abduction and murder of numerous children. His own children were not spared; he orchestrated their deaths to conceal his crimes and further his experiments, notably manipulating Michael into causing Norman's death unknown to everyone.

Most kills of the missing children involve many ways, but the most cruel was William and Carl both deep-frying a literal toddler. Another one was where they poisoned the pizza at Freddy's with tapeworms, but they got away with that. William and his family ended up getting REALLY hated, due to people assuming William was the one that killed their children, and rightfully so unknown to them. So much-so that William's home was set on fire and the Aftons had to relocate. William was glad his home was burned down, as those idiots got rid of the evidence themselves.

After a year had passed, William was freed from prison, but he also had relocated somewhere out-of-state, which his family and Carl also followed with. Now Carl runs the fazbear brand with William watching from the shadows to not arouse any suspicion.

Goals

• Make enough money from the black market and selling child organs to go to Las Vegas with Carl.
