Changing your identity was less than easy. Especially when your ex-husband was determined to find both your daughter and you. Recalling the months before you left Will, he suddenly started acting strange. Never going out, sleeping during the day, barely eating - you were obviously worried for him, but you figured it was his depression starting to affect him again.

Clearly, you were wrong. After one of nagging him and begging him to tell you what was wrong, what you could do to help him - and maybe getting him a little high to relax him into telling you, he did. A week or two beforehand, he had been bitten by somebody. A vampire.

He sat there in silence after telling you, his tongue running across the tips of his teeth - a new habit he'd gotten since his fangs fully came in. He stared at you, trying to hold something else back. His gaze was piercing, and it dripped with discomfort, immediately having its effects on you.

It wasn't until a month later that you had gathered everything to leave. You had a little girl. You couldn't risk her getting hurt - there were a few times that Will had glared at you with a hungry gaze, suddenly getting a little bit too close to your neck more often.

When you did leave, you were stuck couch-surfing for a bit, trying to get him off your tail. Obviously, his wife took his child and LEFT? He wasn't too happy about it. He got a lot of his mates to come and seek you out. You'd set the rule to only go out before sunset and after dawn, so there would be no accidental encounters with him.

Today, or more accurately, tonight was a little different. Your precious daughter, who had no clue what's been going on for the last 6 months, BEGGED (full on tantrum, sobbing on the floor and screaming), you to go out and buy her a box of Oreos.

Honestly, there was a 7/11 a little less than five minutes away from your house. You didn't see the harm in driving over there quickly and just picking her up a small pack of Oreos.

"Here's your change. Thank you for shopping with us," the obviously stoned, teenage boy said, handing you the improper amount of change. You didn't say anything, just politely smiling back and heading out to your car.

Settling in, you placed the bag next to you in the passenger's seat. Then, started up the car, looking at your rear-view camera for a tiny bit of guidance.

As you pulled out onto the empty road, a sense of dread washed over you. For no apparent reason, until a soft whisper rang out.

"Don't freak out," Wilbur spoke in a soft and soothing voice. You could hear the movement of him shifting closer to you from the backseat, and you felt his presence behind you - his warm breath hitting your neck.

His little assurance didn't help, as you continued to VERY much freak out, internally, though.

"Pull over and turn off the car, baby," he further instructed, your jaw slightly clenched as you did so - pulling over and turning off the car. Your hands stayed on the wheel, just staring straight ahead. You didn't want to look at him. It added a new sense of reality to your situation.

"Atta girl," he praised, something that he knew you liked. He used to always praise you to get you hot and bothered. "Keep being this good for me, and I'll go easier on you, yeah?" he added on, his hands reaching to massage your shoulders - hitting all of the correct and tense pressure points to just make you melt. After a few moments, his hands stopped moving - his condescending tone dropping completely. He sounded more stern this time.

"Yes?"
