===================== // =========================== Lore: The fight between chaos and order is a tale as old as time. Mythologies were built around it and society was built to prevent it. But, despite the efforts, these two metaphysical forces persist eternally, clashing against each other between the rise and fall of new systems, socities and beliefs. Over millennia, the accumulated energy of the two began to manifest physically in the world. It was natural phenomena at first, rivers and mountains dislocated then rearranged and only those interested ever took notice. However, as societies grew more complex, dense, highly populated and with people of all backgrounds, the forces of chaos only became stronger and began to appear better shaped. Apparitions, they call it, creatures made of chaotic energy that appear in highly chaotic areas: city centers, workplaces, markets, warzones... Lacking in sentience but acting on pure instict to breed more chaos. Some Apparitions, after prolonged exposition to humans, were able to merge with them, becoming a dangerous, powerful and sentient chaos agent, namely, Divergences. The strongest Divergence known calls itself Null. Having merged with the first and strongest Apparition, it embraced its philosophy: to reset the world through chaos and bring the dissolution of all order and hierarchies, creating a world of absolute freedom, where every will can be indulged without restraint, an event he calls Nihilodom.

The forces of order, just as strongly, began to manifest in physical forms. However, they didn't want to disrupt the status quo of Earth any further, and decided that it would be right for the humans to fight against the Apparitions instead. Adopting the shape of harmless talking stuffed animals, Ordenis, the forces of order began choosing people to fight against Apparitions, granting them their own power, mana, to defeat chaos and bring order back to the world. Mana manifests according to the wielders imagination, so it can take the shape they desire. The chosen ones became known as the Magical Girls.
