The Moby Dick had finally arrived at an unfamiliar island in the New World. After anchoring near the kingdom's harbor, Edward Newgate and his commanders had made their way toward the enormous royal castle overlooking the city.
Unlike many islands in the New World, this kingdom appeared peaceful and prosperous. Its streets were bustling with merchants, its harbor was filled with trading ships, and its enormous castle stood proudly atop a hill.
Having no intention of causing trouble, Whitebeard had decided to visit the king personally to ask permission for his crew to remain on the island.
Now, the entire crew stood inside the magnificent throne room, facing the kingdom's monarch.
Edward Newgate sat in a specially reinforced chair positioned directly before the throne. His enormous white captain's coat rested over his shoulders, and his crescent-shaped mustache curled upward as he regarded the king with a confident grin.
Behind him stood Marco, Ace, Jozu, Thatch, Vista, Blamenco, Rakuyo, Namur, Blenheim, Curiel, Kingdew, Haruta, Atmos, Speed Jiru, Fossa, and Izo.
The commanders occupied much of the enormous throne room. Some stood with their arms crossed, while others casually observed the royal decorations. Despite their intimidating appearances, they remained relatively quiet as their captain began speaking.
King: Sitting upright on his throne, he examines the enormous pirate captain before him. "So, you are Edward Newgate. I must admit, I wasn't expecting the Whitebeard Pirates to arrive at my kingdom without warning."
Whitebeard: Laughing heartily. "Gurararara! I apologize for our sudden arrival. We were sailing through these waters when we spotted your island."
King: "And what exactly brings the strongest pirate crew in the New World to my humble kingdom?"
Whitebeard: "Nothing complicated. My sons and I are looking for somewhere to restock our supplies and spend a little time ashore."
Marco: Standing beside Whitebeard with his arms folded. "We've been sailing for quite a while, yoi. We figured a little time on land wouldn't hurt."
King: Glancing at Marco before returning his attention to Whitebeard. "I see. And you intend to remain here for how long?"
Whitebeard: "That depends on how long we're welcome. We don't intend to overstay our invitation."
Ace: Grinning as he looks around the throne room. "Your kingdom seems pretty nice! We've already seen the harbor, and the town looks like a great place to explore."
Marco: "Ace, let the captain handle the negotiations, yoi."
Ace: "I'm just saying!"
King: Chuckling at their exchange. "Your crew certainly seems lively."
Thatch: Smiling enthusiastically. "You have no idea! And I must say, your kingdom looks like it has some excellent ingredients. I'd love to visit the local markets while we're here."
King: "You're welcome to visit our markets. We have several famous merchants who trade in spices, fresh produce, and seafood."
Thatch: "Now that sounds wonderful!"
Blamenco: Rubbing his stomach. "Do they have any good restaurants?"
Thatch: "Of course that's what you're interested in!"
Blamenco: "What's wrong with that?"
Vista: Smiling beneath his mustache. "I believe we're getting a little ahead of ourselves. We haven't even received permission to stay yet."
King: Turning his attention toward Whitebeard. "Indeed. Before I make any promises, I would like to know a little more about your intentions. Your reputation precedes you, Edward Newgate."
Whitebeard: Taking a large drink from his sake bottle. "Gurararara! I'm sure it does."
King: "Your crew has been involved in numerous conflicts throughout the New World. Naturally, I must consider the safety of my citizens."
Jozu: Standing with his enormous arms crossed. "We understand your concerns, Your Majesty. We have no intention of harming your people."
Izo: Politely inclining his head. "We came here specifically to request your permission rather than simply entering your territory without consulting you."
King: "That is certainly appreciated. However, I must ask whether you intend to bring your conflicts here. If another pirate crew or the Marines were to pursue you, would my kingdom become involved?"
Marco: His expression becoming slightly more serious. "We don't go looking for trouble with people who leave us alone, yoi. If someone wants to fight us, that's another matter."
Fossa: "And we won't allow anyone to threaten our captain or our family."
Rakuyo: Grinning. "Hah! Anyone stupid enough to attack us would have to deal with the entire crew!"
Vista: "Rakuyo, we're trying to reassure His Majesty, not intimidate him."
Rakuyo: "I'm just telling the truth!"
King: Raising one hand to quiet the conversation. "I understand that you are loyal to your captain. However, I would prefer that any disagreements between your crew and outsiders remain far away from my citizens."
Whitebeard: His expression remains calm as he nods. "That's a reasonable request. We have no desire to drag innocent people into our affairs."
King: "And what about your crew's activities while you're here? Will your men respect our laws?"
Whitebeard: "Gurararara! Of course. My sons know better than to cause unnecessary trouble."
Ace: Smiling confidently. "You don't have to worry about us!"
Marco: Giving Ace a sideways glance. "That depends on what you consider trouble, yoi."
Ace: "Hey! I haven't done anything!"
Thatch: Laughing. "Not yet!"
Several commanders chuckled, while Ace crossed his arms and looked away in mock annoyance.
King: Smiling faintly at the crew's interaction. "It seems you have quite a close relationship with your men, Edward Newgate."
Whitebeard: His grin broadening. "They're not just my men. They're my sons!"
The room briefly fell quiet as Whitebeard's powerful voice echoed through the throne room.
King: "Your sons?"
Whitebeard: "Every last one of them. I consider my crew my family, and I'll do whatever it takes to protect them."
Marco smiled faintly, while Ace grinned proudly. Jozu and the other commanders maintained their positions behind their captain.
King: "An interesting philosophy for a pirate. I imagine such loyalty is difficult to maintain with a crew of your size."
Whitebeard: "Gurararara! Not when you've got a family like mine!"
Namur: Standing quietly among the commanders. "Our captain has always looked after us. We would do the same for him."
Blenheim: "That's right. We stand together, regardless of the circumstances."
Kingdew: Nodding firmly. "No one gets left behind."
King: Looking across the assembled commanders. "I can see that your loyalty is genuine. Nevertheless, I must still consider the responsibilities of my position."
Whitebeard: "Naturally. You're the king of this island. Your people's safety comes first."
King: "Exactly. My kingdom has maintained peace for many years, and I have no intention of allowing that peace to be disturbed."
Whitebeard: Leaning back in his chair. "Then I believe we understand each other."
King: "Perhaps. However, there is one more matter I would like to discuss before I decide whether to grant your crew permission to remain."
Marco: Raising an eyebrow. "Another matter, yoi?"
King: "Yes. You mentioned that you intend to restock your supplies. How much of your crew's provisions do you intend to purchase from our merchants?"
Thatch: Immediately becoming interested. "That depends on what they have available! We might need fresh meat, vegetables, fruit, flour, spices, and—"
Blamenco: "And plenty of food!"
Thatch: "I was getting to that!"
King: Chuckling. "I see. Well, our merchants should have no difficulty accommodating your needs, provided you are willing to pay the appropriate prices."
Whitebeard: "Gurararara! That's perfectly fine. We have no intention of taking anything without paying for it."
Curiel: "We'll make sure the crew follows the kingdom's trading regulations."
King: "Good. Then perhaps we can reach an agreement."
Whitebeard nodded, resting one enormous hand on the arm of his chair. Marco remained beside him, listening attentively as the king prepared to continue.
King: "Before I grant you permission to remain in my kingdom, I would also like to discuss the matter of your crew's security and the accommodations you might require during your stay."
Whitebeard: "Gurararara! We don't need anything particularly special. A place to rest and enough room for my sons will be sufficient."
King: "Given the size of your crew, that may prove somewhat difficult. However, I believe we can arrange suitable accommodations."
Ace: Grinning. "As long as there's somewhere to eat, I'm happy!"
Marco: "You really do think about nothing but food sometimes, yoi."
Ace: "Not true!"
The king smiled at their exchange before turning his attention back to Whitebeard.
King: "Now, Edward Newgate, there is something else I would like to ask you about your intentions here. You see, our kingdom has recently—"
Before the king could finish his sentence, a sudden noise came from the enormous royal doors behind the assembled pirates.
Whitebeard slowly turned his head toward the entrance. Marco glanced over his shoulder, followed by Ace, Jozu, Thatch, Vista, and the other commanders.

Whitebeard: "Gurararara! My sons and I are looking for somewhere to rest and restock our supplies. We wanted to make sure our presence here would be welcome."
King: "Your reputation certainly precedes you. I must admit, I'm surprised you came here personally."
Marco: "We don't want to cause unnecessary trouble, yoi. We simply need a place to rest."
Ace: Grinning. "And somewhere good to eat!"

Jozu: "We have no intention of causing trouble for your people."
Izo: "We came here to ask permission rather than simply enter your territory without consulting you."
King: "And what happens if your enemies follow you here?"
Whitebeard: "Gurararara! We won't involve your kingdom in our conflicts unless someone gives us a reason. My sons know better than to start unnecessary fights."
Rakuyo: Grinning. "Anyone who attacks us will have to deal with the entire crew!"
Vista: "Let's not intimidate our host, Rakuyo."
King: Smiling faintly. "I see your crew is quite loyal to you, Edward Newgate."
Whitebeard: "They're my family! I'll protect every last one of them."
Marco smiled while Ace grinned proudly. The other commanders remained behind their captain.
King: "Very well. If your crew agrees to follow our laws and avoid disturbing our citizens, I may allow you to stay. However, I have a few conditions to discuss."
Whitebeard: "Gurararara! Go ahead. We're listening."
King: "First, I must know how long you intend to remain here. I also need to discuss accommodations for your enormous crew."
Blamenco: "As long as there's plenty of food, I don't mind where we stay!"
Thatch: "You're always thinking about food!"
Ace: "I agree with Blamenco!"
Marco: "Of course you do, yoi."
The king chuckled before turning his attention back to Whitebeard.
King: "Now, there's one more matter I would like to discuss before granting your crew permission to stay. You see, my kingdom has recently—"
Whitebeard, Marco, Ace, and all the commanders turned toward the entrance, curious to see who had arrived.

Dawn had only just broken over Dawn Island when the Moby Dick entered the harbor of the Goa Kingdom.
Golden sunlight spilled across the water, illuminating the enormous pirate ship as it slowly approached the docks. The harbor was already busy with merchants, fishermen, workers, and members of the kingdom's nobility moving through the streets in expensive clothing.
The moment the Moby Dick came into view, conversations throughout the harbor began to die down.
Noblewoman: "Is that... a pirate ship?"
Nobleman: "The Whitebeard Pirates."
Noblewoman: "They're actually docking here?"
Several nobles immediately wrinkled their noses as the massive ship pulled into port.
Nobleman: "How disgusting."
Noblewoman: "Pirates have no business being in a respectable kingdom."
On the Moby Dick, the Whitebeard Pirates paid little attention to the reactions around them.
Ace jumped down onto the dock first, stretching his arms above his head.
Ace: "Finally! We're here!"
Marco: "Try not to wander off immediately, yoi."
Ace: "I'm not going to wander off."
Ace took two steps away from Marco.
Marco: "Ace."
Ace: "I'm going to look at the food."
Marco: "That's wandering off, yoi."
Ace grinned.
Ace: "I'll come back."
Thatch stepped onto the dock carrying a list of supplies.
Thatch: "Everyone listen up! We're dividing into groups. We need fresh meat, vegetables, fruit, grain, medical supplies, ammunition, ship-repair materials, and anything else we can reasonably carry."
Blamenco: "And snacks."
Thatch: "Yes, Blamenco. Snacks."
Blamenco: "Good."
Jozu stepped onto the dock with several empty crates stacked in his arms.
Jozu: "Where are we starting?"
Blenheim: "The main marketplace. We'll split up once we're there."
Whitebeard eventually stepped onto the dock, his enormous presence immediately drawing attention from everyone nearby.
Several nobles stared openly at him.
Nobleman: "Look at the size of that man."
Noblewoman: "Absolutely barbaric."
Nobleman: "They're pirates. What else would you expect?"
Whitebeard heard them but merely gave a deep chuckle.
Whitebeard: "Gurararara!"
Marco glanced toward the nobles.
Marco: "Looks like we're popular already, yoi."
Vista: "Perhaps not in the manner they intended."
Izo: "Their expressions certainly suggest otherwise."
The pirates began moving toward the marketplace.
As they walked through the kingdom, the reactions became increasingly obvious.
Nobles stepped aside whenever the pirates approached.
Some covered their noses despite there being no unpleasant smell.
Others whispered behind their hands.
Noblewoman: "Look at their clothes."
Nobleman: "They're filthy."
Noblewoman: "And those weapons."
Nobleman: "They probably don't even know proper etiquette."
Haruta glanced sideways at them.
Haruta: "Are they seriously staring at us like that?"
Rakuyo: "Let 'em stare."
Haruta: "They're making faces."
Rakuyo: "Let 'em make faces."
Rakuyo gave the nobles an unimpressed glare.
Rakuyo: "They'll get tired eventually."
Atmos walked behind them, his enormous frame and horns making several nobles immediately recoil.
Noblewoman: "Oh, how dreadful."
Nobleman: "Must they bring creatures like that into the city?"
Atmos stopped.
Atmos: "Creatures?"
The nobleman immediately went pale.
Nobleman: "I-I meant no offense."
Atmos: "You just called me a creature."
Nobleman: "I was merely—"
Whitebeard placed a large hand on Atmos's shoulder.
Whitebeard: "Leave it."
Atmos: "Tch."
Atmos continued walking.
The nobleman hurried away with his companion.
Fossa: "Probably for the best."
Curiel: "Definitely."
At the marketplace, Thatch immediately began examining the available food.
Thatch: "These vegetables are excellent."
Merchant: "They're some of the best on the island."
Thatch: "I'll take several crates."
Merchant: "Of course."
Thatch began selecting produce while Namur examined the seafood nearby.
Namur: "These fish are fresh."
Merchant: "Caught this morning."
Namur: "We'll take plenty."
Ace wandered toward a butcher shop.
Ace: "Hey! What kind of meat do you have?"
Butcher: "Several varieties."
Ace: "I'll take all of it."
Butcher: "All of it?"
Ace: "Yes."
Marco: "Not all of it, yoi."
Ace: "Most of it?"
Marco: "We'll discuss it."
Behind them, several nobles watched with disgust.
Noblewoman: "They're acting as though they've never seen food before."
Nobleman: "Pirates."
Noblewoman: "Completely uncivilized."
Ace slowly turned his head.
Ace: "Did they just call us uncivilized?"
Marco: "Keep walking, yoi."
Ace: "But—"
Marco: "Keep walking."
Ace reluctantly turned back toward the butcher.
Ace: "I'll take most of it."
Butcher: "That I can do."
Jozu and Blenheim moved toward a grain merchant.
Jozu: "How much can you load?"
Merchant: "As much as you need."
Jozu: "We'll take that."
Jozu pointed toward a massive collection of sacks.
Merchant: "All of those?"
Jozu: "Yes."
Blenheim: "We will take a substantial amount."
Jozu: "All of them."
Blenheim: "A substantial amount."
Jozu: "...Fine."
A nearby nobleman scoffed.
Nobleman: "They have absolutely no restraint."
Jozu slowly looked toward him.*
Jozu: "You have something to say?"
Nobleman: "No."
Jozu: "That's what I thought."
Jozu turned back toward the merchant.
Meanwhile, Izo and Vista entered a textile shop.
Merchant: "Good morning. Can I help you?"
Izo: "We're looking for durable fabric."
Vista: "And perhaps some higher-quality material for repairs."
The merchant looked nervous but nodded.
Merchant: "Certainly."
A noblewoman standing nearby whispered loudly enough for them to hear.
Noblewoman: "They're actually shopping here?"
Izo: "Yes."
Noblewoman: "How inappropriate."
Izo calmly turned toward her.
Izo: "Would you prefer that we shop elsewhere?"
Noblewoman: "I would prefer pirates stayed away from respectable establishments."
The room went quiet.
Vista raised an eyebrow.
Vista: "Respectable."
Izo: "Interesting choice of word."
Noblewoman: "You know exactly what I mean."
Izo: "I believe I do."
Izo smiled politely.
Izo: "Fortunately, we weren't asking for your permission."
Vista covered a small grin with his hand.
Vista: "Well said."
The noblewoman turned away in irritation.
Outside, Blamenco was carrying several large bags of food.
Blamenco: "Look what I found!"
Haruta: "More food?"
Blamenco: "Of course."
Haruta: "We already have enough."
Blamenco: "There's no such thing."
A group of young nobles walked past them.
Nobleman: "Look at that one."
Noblewoman: "He's carrying enough food for an army."
Nobleman: "Pirates have no dignity."
Blamenco looked down at the bags in his hands.
Blamenco: "They're talking about me, aren't they?"
Haruta: "Definitely."
Blamenco: "Huh."
Blamenco shrugged and continued walking.
Blamenco: "I'm still keeping the food."
Haruta: "I figured."
By late morning, the Whitebeard Pirates had accumulated an enormous amount of supplies.
Crates of food were stacked near the harbor.
Barrels of water and preserved goods lined the dock.
Medical supplies, ammunition, tools, rope, fabric, and ship-repair materials were being carried toward the Moby Dick.
Despite the constant hostile looks from the nobles, the pirates continued working.
Eventually, Whitebeard stood beside the harbor while watching his sons load the final supplies.
A group of nobles passed nearby.
Nobleman: "At least they'll be leaving soon."
Noblewoman: "Good. This kingdom shouldn't be entertaining pirates."
Nobleman: "They're beneath us."
Several Whitebeard Pirates heard the remark.
The loading stopped.
Marco slowly looked over his shoulder.
Marco: "Beneath you?"
The nobles froze.
Marco's expression remained calm, but his eyes had hardened.
Marco: "That's an interesting thing to say to someone's face, yoi."
Ace crossed his arms.
Ace: "Yeah. What makes you think you're better than us?"
Nobleman: "You're pirates."
Ace: "So?"
Noblewoman: "You steal. You fight. You live outside the law."
Izo: "And yet we have spent the entire morning purchasing supplies from your merchants and respecting your laws."
Vista: "We have caused no trouble."
Jozu: "And we've paid for everything."
Blenheim: "Precisely."
The nobleman opened his mouth but couldn't immediately respond.
Whitebeard finally turned toward them.
Whitebeard: "Gurararara..."
His enormous voice caused the nobles to stiffen.
Whitebeard: "You can think whatever you want about my family."
Whitebeard's expression became more serious.
Whitebeard: "But don't mistake our restraint for weakness."
Silence settled over the harbor.
The nobles exchanged uncomfortable glances.
Whitebeard then turned away from them.
Whitebeard: "Now get the rest of those supplies aboard."
Marco: "You heard him, yoi."
The crew immediately returned to work.
Ace grabbed another crate.
Ace: "Come on!"
Thatch: "Careful with that!"
Ace: "I've got it!"
The atmosphere gradually returned to normal as the pirates continued loading the Moby Dick.
Even though the nobles continued watching them with disapproving expressions, the Whitebeard Pirates refused to let the insults ruin their day.
They had come to the Goa Kingdom for supplies, and they intended to leave with exactly what they came for.
And, judging by the enormous amount of food Thatch had purchased, they would probably be eating very well that night.

Dawn had barely broken when the Moby Dick arrived at the Goa Kingdom. The Whitebeard Pirates gathered on the docks, preparing to collect supplies for the ship.
Thatch: "Alright! We need food, medical supplies, ammunition, and ship materials."
Ace: "And meat."
Marco: "Yes, Ace. Meat, yoi."
The crew laughed and began heading toward the marketplace. Almost immediately, the kingdom's nobles began staring at them with disgust.
Noblewoman: "Those are pirates."
Nobleman: "What are they doing here?"
Noblewoman: "They're completely beneath us."
Ace glanced toward them.
Ace: "Did they just say we're beneath them?"
Marco: "Ignore them, yoi."
The pirates continued shopping. Thatch bought vegetables and meat, Namur gathered seafood, Jozu and Blenheim collected grain, while Curiel and Fossa searched for ammunition and equipment.
Everywhere they went, nobles gave them dirty looks and whispered insults.
Nobleman: "Look at their clothes."
Noblewoman: "Absolutely disgusting."
Atmos stopped walking.
Atmos: "You got something to say?"
The nobleman immediately looked away.
Nobleman: "No."
Rakuyo: "That's what I thought."
Izo and Vista continued gathering fabric while several nobles watched them suspiciously.
Noblewoman: "Pirates shouldn't be allowed in respectable shops."
Izo: "Fortunately, we're paying customers."
Vista: "And we've caused no trouble."
The noblewoman scoffed and walked away.
By late morning, the crew had gathered everything they needed and returned to the Moby Dick with crates, barrels, and sacks of supplies.
As they loaded the final crates, a nobleman nearby muttered loudly.
Nobleman: "At least they'll be leaving soon. Pirates like them have no place among respectable people."
The crew briefly fell silent.
Marco: "You really think we're beneath you, yoi?"
The nobleman stiffened.
Ace: "We've paid for everything, followed your laws, and haven't caused a single problem."
Jozu: "What exactly have we done to you?"
The nobleman couldn't answer.
Whitebeard finally turned toward him.
Whitebeard: "Gurararara! Think whatever you want about my family."
His expression hardened slightly.
Whitebeard: "Just don't mistake our patience for weakness."
The nobles fell silent.
Whitebeard: "Now, get those supplies aboard."
The crew immediately returned to work, leaving the nobles behind as the Moby Dick prepared to depart.

The Moby Dick slowly entered the harbor of the Goa Kingdom on Dawn Island, its enormous hull cutting through the calm morning water.
The Whitebeard Pirates had stopped at the kingdom to gather supplies before continuing their voyage. Crates, barrels, and empty sacks were prepared on deck as the crew began making their way toward the harbor.
The moment they stepped onto the docks, the atmosphere around them changed.
Merchants stopped what they were doing. Workers glanced toward the enormous group. Several nobles walking along the harbor immediately slowed down and began staring at the pirates with obvious disgust.
Noblewoman: "Pirates..."
Nobleman: "The Whitebeard Pirates."
Noblewoman: "What are they doing in the Goa Kingdom?"
Nobleman: "Probably looking for something to steal."
Ace frowned as he overheard them.
Ace: "We're literally carrying money."
Marco: "Don't bother with them, yoi."
Ace: "They're the ones bothering us."
Whitebeard stepped onto the dock, his enormous presence causing several nobles to move aside.
Whitebeard: "Gurararara! We're only here for supplies."
The crew began walking toward the marketplace.
The nobles continued watching them.
Noblewoman: "They're beneath us."
Nobleman: "Exactly. Pirates don't belong among respectable citizens."
Rakuyo glanced over his shoulder.
Rakuyo: "Keep talking."
Izo: "Leave them."
Rakuyo: "They're annoying."
Izo: "And we're not here for them."
Rakuyo grumbled but continued walking.
The marketplace was already busy. Vendors had opened their stalls, carts moved through the streets, and citizens gathered around the various shops.
Thatch immediately began inspecting the food stalls.
Thatch: "We'll need vegetables, fruit, meat, spices, preserved food, and grain."
Blamenco: "And snacks."
Thatch: "Yes, snacks."
Blamenco: "Good."
Namur wandered toward a seafood stall and examined the fish.
Namur: "These are fresh."
Merchant: "Caught early this morning."
Namur: "We'll take plenty."
The merchant looked toward the enormous group behind Namur.
Merchant: "How much is plenty?"
Namur: "Enough for everyone."
At another stall, Ace spotted a large display of meat.
Ace: "Whoa."
He immediately walked toward it.
Ace: "I'll take that."
Butcher: "All of it?"
Ace: "Yes."
Thatch: "Ace!"
Ace: "What?"
Thatch: "We need enough for the crew!"
Ace: "Exactly!"
Marco: "He means enough for everyone, yoi."
Ace: "That's what I said."
Several nobles standing nearby watched the exchange with disgust.
Noblewoman: "How vulgar."
Nobleman: "They have absolutely no manners."
Ace glanced toward them.
Ace: "Why does everyone here keep looking at us like that?"
Marco: "Because we're pirates, yoi."
Ace: "So?"
Marco: "Apparently that's enough for them."
Ace shrugged and returned his attention to the meat.
Meanwhile, Jozu and Blenheim were gathering heavy supplies.
Jozu: "How many sacks?"
Blenheim: "As many as we can safely transport."
Jozu: "I'll carry them."
Jozu effortlessly lifted several sacks at once.
Merchant: "You can carry all of those?"
Jozu: "Probably."
Blenheim: "He can."
Kingdew helped load the larger crates while Atmos carried several barrels under his arms.
Atmos: "Where do these go?"
Blenheim: "Back to the ship."
Atmos: "Got it."
Atmos turned around, nearly blocking the entire street.
Nobleman: "Move!"
Atmos: "What?"
Nobleman: "You're in the way!"
Atmos: "Then walk around."
The nobleman stared at him before reluctantly moving around.
Nearby, Curiel and Fossa were checking a supply shop.
Curiel: "We need ammunition."
Fossa: "And cleaning supplies."
Curiel: "Replacement parts too."
Fossa: "Got it."
Haruta moved between the groups, collecting smaller items and carrying them toward the harbor.
Izo and Vista stopped at a textile shop.
Izo: "We could use more fabric."
Vista: "For clothing?"
Izo: "Clothing, repairs, bandages, sails. Whatever we can use it for."
The shopkeeper nervously brought several rolls forward.
Merchant: "These are some of our strongest materials."
Vista: "They'll work."
Izo: "We'll take them."
A noblewoman standing nearby looked them over with a scowl.
Noblewoman: "You actually intend to purchase those?"
Izo: "Yes."
Noblewoman: "You know this is a respectable shop."
Izo: "And we're paying customers."
The noblewoman said nothing more and walked away.
Vista: "You remained remarkably calm."
Izo: "There was no reason not to."
The Whitebeard Pirates continued moving through the marketplace.
Everywhere they went, the same thing happened.
People stared.
Nobles whispered.
Some moved out of their way.
Others gave them disgusted looks as though simply being near pirates was beneath their dignity.
The Whitebeard Pirates largely ignored it.
They had come for supplies, and they had work to do.
After some time, the crew began carrying everything back toward the harbor.
Thatch: "Food is handled!"
Namur: "Seafood is handled!"
Curiel: "Equipment is handled!"
Fossa: "Ammunition is handled!"
Blenheim: "Grain and water are handled!"
Izo: "Textiles are handled!"
Jozu: "Heavy supplies are handled!"
Blamenco: "Snacks are handled!"
Thatch: "Of course they are."
The crew laughed as they continued toward the Moby Dick.
Whitebeard walked at the back of the group, occasionally glancing around the kingdom.
Whitebeard: "Gurararara! Interesting place."
Marco: "Definitely different from most islands we've visited, yoi."
Ace: "There's a lot to look at."
Vista: "The architecture is certainly impressive."
Izo: "And the people certainly know how to make their opinions obvious."
Ace looked toward another group of nobles staring at them.
Ace: "Yep."
The nobles immediately looked away.
The crew continued through the streets, passing elegant buildings, large estates, bustling markets, and crowded plazas.
Even with the constant looks from the nobility, none of the Whitebeard Pirates seemed particularly interested in leaving immediately.
They continued looking around the Goa Kingdom, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings and observing everything around them while they made their way through the city.
For now, they simply wandered through the bustling kingdom, still searching the streets and shops for anything else that might be useful before returning to the Moby Dick.

The Moby Dick slowly entered the harbor of the Goa Kingdom on Dawn Island, its enormous hull immediately drawing attention from everyone nearby.
The Whitebeard Pirates had come ashore to gather supplies for their next voyage, carrying empty crates and barrels as they made their way toward the kingdom's marketplace.
The moment they entered the wealthier part of the kingdom, the nobles began staring at them with obvious disgust.
Noblewoman: "Pirates..."
Nobleman: "What are they doing here?"
Noblewoman: "They're beneath us. They shouldn't be walking around with respectable citizens."
Ace glanced toward them while walking beside Marco.
Ace: "They're not even trying to hide that they're staring."
Marco: "Just ignore them, yoi."
Ace: "They're annoying."
Whitebeard walked behind them, his massive presence making several nobles immediately step aside.
Whitebeard: "Gurararara! We're only here to gather supplies."

Thatch immediately began inspecting the food stalls while Namur searched through the fresh seafood. Jozu, Blenheim, and Kingdew looked for grain, water, and other heavy supplies. Curiel and Fossa searched for ammunition and equipment, while Izo and Vista examined fabrics and ship-repair materials.
Thatch: "We'll need plenty of food. We don't know how long it'll be before our next stop."
Blamenco: "And snacks."
Thatch: "Yes, snacks too."
Ace suddenly stopped in front of a butcher's stall.
Ace: "Meat!"
Thatch: "Ace, we're gathering supplies!"
Ace: "Meat is a supply!"
Marco: "He's got a point, yoi."
Several nobles nearby gave the group disgusted looks.
Nobleman: "Uncivilized."
Noblewoman: "Exactly what I'd expect from pirates."
Izo glanced toward them but simply continued examining the fabric.
Izo: "Let them stare."
Vista: "Agreed."
Jozu loaded several heavy sacks onto a cart while Blenheim organized the supplies.
Jozu: "Anything else?"
Blenheim: "We're still missing medical supplies."
Marco: "I'll handle those."
Marco headed toward a nearby shop while Haruta carried several smaller crates toward the harbor.
The Whitebeard Pirates continued moving throughout the marketplace, purchasing what they needed while the nobles watched them from a distance with judgmental expressions and whispered among themselves.
Despite the attention, the crew remained focused on their task.
They wandered farther into the bustling streets of the Goa Kingdom, looking over the various shops, markets, buildings, and unfamiliar parts of the city as they continued searching for anything else they might need.
For the moment, the Whitebeard Pirates simply kept looking around the kingdom, taking in everything around them.
