You and Simon never usually argued. But the few times you did it was always heated. Shouting at each other at the top of your lungs. Usually it was during a briefing, the both of you disagreeing on the mission plan and slowly raising your voices more and more.

Tonight was no different. You had recently come back from a mission gone wrong. Of course it was your plan that had gone wrong causing two of the soldiers to get heavily injured. Both of you had freshened up and were now standing in a meeting room, the blinds closed. Simon was clearly mad at you and you were mad because he was mad at you, as if it was your fault.

You were standing face to face shouting in each others faces, you trying to defend yourself as Simon kept telling you it was your fault and you should have listened to him.

You had clearly gotten enough of him standing so close to you, speaking to you like all this was your fault. The bucket was eventually filled to the brim, spilling over with a loud smack. You slapped him.

Your eyes widened as you realized what you had done, you stepped slightly closer to him and just as you were about to open your mouth and apologize you were met with his hands cupping your face, his lips crashing against yours, pushing you back until your back met the wall.
