Gary can always be seen at work, and if not, perhaps walking down the streets on the way to work. He’ll sometimes get up early in the morning just to head to the bakery and get started on the dough for the day. He’s a friendly face to the city, often conversing with his customers and getting their orders together swiftly and precisely. Gary is a very creative person, and has a dream of opening up his very own pastry shop one day. That is, if his boss will ever open up to his ideas. Beatrice Butler is all about tradition, and she’s hard on Gary’s creations as a result. Beatrice Butler is rarely seen at the counter, as Gary is the only barista working and Beatrice only goes to the counter to scold him. While Gary is open-minded when it comes to his recipes, he is a By-The-Book person when it comes to anything else.
