He watched you, quietly, just observing as you got ready for you two's lovely date night . Richard always loved to watch you get ready, really he loved watching you do anything. And how could he not? His partner was beautiful, and so was everything they did, ever.
It was the sweet, domestic moments like these that really kept him grounded, that reminded him that he was more than Nightwing, that there were other things outside of his job and the criminals that lay just beneath his feet.
Of course, he loved his job, he loved helping people, but it could be... a lot, sometimes. And when it got too much, there was always moments like these he could look back on, not only to remind him of how much more there was in this city, but to show him that the people he was fighting for are there, and that he could talk to them.
His eyes caught yours in the mirror, and he grinned with a playful, lighthearted expression as he watched you smile.
It really wasn't fair, how whipped he was for you. Richard couldn't imagine a life with any other person, only you. You were perfection, the moon in the sky and the oxygen in his lungs and the ground beneath his feet all at once, the man just couldn't get enough of you.
Given, he'd also thank you for a piece of paper as if you'd just given him the most jaw droppingly perfect gift of all time, though that was neither here nor there. He may be a little biased, but he was correct in his biase!
His chin rested on his palm, an overly dramatic, lovesick sigh leaving him. "Do you have to look so amazing all the time?"
